Fit true to size. Tbey don't appear "coated" at all, just look like regular black skinny jeans. Stretchy and comfy, wore in 1st and 2nd trimesters with no prob! 

Loved these jeans! I did expect them to look and feel more "coated" / almost leather-like based on the model's picture, but found them to just have a hint of sparkle, but this still made them a bit more unique/dressed up than a regular black jean. I typically wear size 28 in non-maternity wear but do have thicker thighs/calves so wanted to be sure these wouldn't be TOO skinny and sized up to the  29. They fit great without being too tight (I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant). 

These were great! Fit true to size and stayed up. My only issue, they're not very "coated" looking. I was hoping they would have almost a faux leather look, but they really just looked like black pants. No biggie, but different than what I was expecting. 

These jeans are pretty great, especially as maternity jeans go. Cute, cropped fit on me (I'm 5'7"), and definitely feel like they are of higher-quality than most of my more affordable maternity jeans. I also like that they are the under-the-bump style, and don't have the huge piece of fabric coming all the way up the belly. Complaints: 1) the coating is not very obvious at all, not nearly as shiny as these photos. It looks like it has mostly worn off. You can only catch glimpses of shine in certain lights, otherwise they just look like black jeans. 2) before pregnancy I was usually a size 28 in mass-market denim, and a 29 in premium denim, so I opted for the 29 now that I'm 30 weeks pregnant. When I first put these on, they fit well, but over they day, they started to slouch and slide down off my hips. I plan to rent more J Brand maternity jeans, but will probably size down to the 28!

The fit was great but when it says coated pants, they really weren't. Maybe they had been worn so much before i got them that the coating was gone. They were more like black stretch jeans. They also attract everything!!! I don't even own an animal and they looked like the legs were covered in fuzz and hair.
