I got so many compliments on this dress, I felt like the bell of the ball!! I wore this to a friend's holiday gala, so perfect for any fall / winter event. I'm typically between an 8 and 10 dress size, and the 8 of this dress fit like a glove, so make sure to size down. A beautiful color, fun ruffles, and a perfect length. Highly recommend this dress for your next event :) 

This dress was the perfect length. I have small heels on it and it worked perfectly. I’m 5’2” and 112lbs.


I received compliments all night even from people I didn't know. The 14 fit but the waist was a little tight, some of the tacking holding the pleating across the bust was still there so it stayed in place and looked better overall. I chose the 16 for a looser fit at the waist and more breast coverage even though the pleating at the waist was sewn incorrectly. I used fashion tape to stick it to my bra but it wasn't strong enough and the heavy dress slipped down early in the night. I was glad that the tacking for the pleats were gone because I could pull it up to cover my bra so you couldn't tell but I was also readjusting throughout the night. The pictures are the initial fit (exposed side boob testing how far it would slip), the finished look and at the wedding where the dress had slipped but was covered by the mesh. I wore flats and the dress skimmed the floor. The 14 was a little shorter. Overall it fit well but I felt too exposed on the off-the-shoulder side. I'm still happy I rented the dress. 

I wasn’t totally sold on this dress when I tried it on because it’s sort of a lot to wear. It’s very fluffy. But I wore it to a formal gala with a band and where this dress really shines is dancing. The tiers and fluff make it really gorgeous to dance in, making the outfit both impressive and fun. I do recommend this dress!

Fit notes: I have bigger ribs and shoulders so this was a great dress for me. I got a 12 and a 14; only the 14 zipped over my ribs. Bigger ribbed girls need to get true to size or maybe size up. Because I needed it in the ribs but not the boobs, the dress gapped a touch under my arm but wearing a black strapless bra no one could tell. The length was perfect (I am 5’5”). You might want to be careful of the hip size if you are curvier, as it fit me well in the hips but I am pretty straight up and down.

A little big ins chest for me but otherwise so pretty. 

I wore this dress at a charity event and it was a hit, I wish I owned it! It's very comfortable. It is a bit hard to zip on the side like others have mentioned (definitely a 2 person job). I am quite short, so even with a 3in heel, the dress almost touched the ground - be careful on stairs! I got lots of compliments and loved dancing in it, and I matched my husband which was a plus!! 

I ordered the 6 and the 8, and the 6 fit better. This was very comfortable, but it turns out I just don’t love the one shoulder dress style.

Absolutely PERFECT. What an easy and fun dress to wear! Dress runs big, so sized down to the zero. Very comfortable and didn’t need a bra. Perfect length with 3  inch heels. Color and subtle floral pattern were even more stunning in person. A great find for a fall gala.

Wore this dress for a black tie wedding at a castle outside of Rome and it fit the vibe perfectly! This was also a perfect dress to travel with since it didn't show the wrinkles when packed into a compression bag. This was super easy to put on and zip up myself. I did use fashion tape to make sure I didn't have any slips.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding at an art museum and it was perfect!! It was super fun and fit the vibes well. I have a small chest and was able to squeeze into the 4 (and didn't have to wear a bra, yay!) when I'm normally a 6-8. The skirt is warm because of the layers of fabric, so I wouldn't recommend this for hotter weather.

Wore this 17 weeks pregnant and was amazed at how comfortable and bump friendly it was. 

This is definitely for someone with more bust than I have, but with some well placed fashion tape and a cleverly placed bobby pin (to hold a pleat in place without piercing the fabric) I was able to make the top more fitted to my top half. The waist was perfect. It was so much fun to dance in.

I wore this to a fall wedding and wow, it was a stunner! I felt so pretty and comfortable in it! It was soft and a great dancing dress. I received SO many compliments!!! Truly, a one of a kind dress that I wish I didn’t have to return. I’m glad I read other reviews, because I sized down and it fit perfectly. The zipper definitely sticks, as others said. I can’t recommend this dress more!

Absolutely loved this dress. I wore it to a wedding in Chicago in September.  The color, the fabric, the style was just perfect! No worries about wrinkles from packing! I danced the night away and felt fantastic. It hid all the lumpy bits and I didn’t have to wear spanx! I got so many complements but the best was a lady who stopped on the street to tell me how much she loved the dress!!  

Loved this so much! The material is much softer than it looks and was very comfy to wear to a formal event!

The dress was comfy and flattering. The closure probably would’ve been a bit better if it had a clasp above the zipper so I had to pin it to my bra but otherwise it was great. Definitely recommend. 

I usually size up in most dresses due to my chest, but the zipper on the 14 was very hard to use. Once I got it zipped, it was slightly big so I tried the 12 and it was a perfect fit without a bra. Loved wearing it! 

This dress is simple and elegant and the poof adds some fun. However, it is HOT. I would not wear this outside in the summer. Also, the zipper is impossible to get up on your own, you will need help! I wore a size 6 (my usual size is 8) and it was perfect.

First time using Rent the Runway-- attended a Black Tie wedding and got multiple compliments! I sized down per the reviews and even the 2 was slightly too big on top (usually a size 4). I intended to tape the top because I was worried about a wardrobe malfunction from dancing too hard, but the wedding was outside, the weather was hot & humid, and the tape wouldn't stick! Turned out to be fine, but as other reviews mentioned, the top part is very roomy. At 5 ft, I wore 2.5 inch heels and my toes just barely peeked out. Overall comfortable, beautiful color, would recommend!  

Rented for a wedding and it was absolutely the perfect dress! All night people were coming up to me complimenting it- and it was especially fun to be wearing it on the dance floor. 

Glad I ordered the extra size in a size dow because the 12 fit perfectly! I wore it with a one strap bra so the chest and bust fit great.

This dress was perfect for a spring wedding in Savannah. I loved the tiered skirt, and fit was perfect. I liked that the skirt camouflaged my lower belly, and the top was secure and didn’t show my strapless bra at all. The zipper is quite stiff and difficult to get over the seam at the waist, but as long as you have someone to help you zip, it’s fine. I rubbed a little dry bar soap on the teeth of the zipper to help with the slickness. 

Wore for a formal wedding and got so many compliments. Very comfortable and fits well
