I ended up ordering the 6,8,10, all zipped but wasn’t in love with the fit on either size. The 8 gave me the best support, but I still felt like my breasts were very heavy on display. I opted for no bra, & still felt very bridgerton like. Other issue was that it felt tight around my armpits/ back of arms but wasn’t a major issue. Very pretty color (more of a coral/ red than true orange) & fit for the occasion (black tie wedding.)

This was my first order with Rent the Runway and  I anticipated there could be a question of sizing but this was absolutely beyond runs large.  

Other reviews are right and I would suggest sizing down 2 sizes. It was a beautiful dress though! 

I’m between 4 and 6 and the 4 was still a bit big. I may try a 2 so it’s tight on top. The straps were a bit long and the bust a bit big. But overall, it’s a gorgeous dress and the material feels and looks really nice. Didn’t end up wearing as it didn’t fit the fall vibe but I’ll probably rent for a spring wedding as it’s beautiful color!

I loved this dress! I was worried the drop waist would not be flattering on my midsection, but the weight of the fabric and the way it falls is really nice :) the straps were a little long, but I was able to make it work!

Rented my regular size once and it was way too big. Sized down for a one-time rental and it was still looser than I would have liked, but I made it work and it was very very comfortable!

It definitely was easier to stand than sit - but I got so many compliments. Also didn’t need to wear a bra which was great!

I wore this to a wedding and received SOO many compliments. I truly felt gorgeous in this. 
Please don’t let the low drop waist design keep you away. I’m overweight and it was still flattering! 

Sizing - True to size, runs a little big. If you’re in between sizes, get the smaller size. The straps were too long and I had to keep pulling up all night. It was kinda annoying but well worth it! 

I hated wearing this dress. Based on the comments that the dress ran big I requested my normal size and the size below. First I tried the size below on and it was an obvious mismark; that dress was at least 4 inches from zipping. My normal size fit. I wore it with a black strap less bra and spent all night pulling the dress up or showing my bra. I did tape it, again thanks to the other reviewers there! The tape simply did not hold. This dress was determined to show bra. It was also way too long (I am 5’5” and wore 3” heels). Because of the fabric, the dress was also freezing. Any tiny breeze went straight through the dress and I spent the entire time shivering. I could not wait for the event to end so I could take this dress off. I am big in the ribs so perhaps that is why the dress fit so badly, but my smaller chest also means I had to wear a bra with this to fill it out and again wearing a bra with it was simply a nightmare. I did like the color though, so two stars.

I’m usually a size 2, but sized down to a 0 and it fit perfectly. Super comfortable, and I was able to wear a regular bra with this! Very easy to dance in. 

Beautiful dress with vibrant color. A little tight on the top for those with a bigger chest but I made it work. Also a little long had to hold it up when dancing.

Super flattering, easy to wear, great color and fabric. Lots of compliments.

Loved the dress and color but it was a little on the bigger side. So glad I got 2 sizes and one was a size down from my reg 4 

I wore this to a wedding and had to reorder it twice to get the right size...ended up sizing down twice (from an 8 to a 4). Even at the right size the top was still a bit loose--it's probably the intention of the designer but I wish the straps were a touch shorter. I had to make sure my bra was not showing all night which was a bit of a bummer. I think the fit highly depends on where your curves sit. Overall it was such a beautiful dress and I got so many compliments. The color was also perfect for a summer wedding.

wore this to my best friends wedding as a bridesmaid (bride picked it out) originally i planned to wear the size 2 but found it to be too loose around the straps and waist, my backup was a size 0 and fit absolutely perfectly. i would like to mention i am seldom a size 0 in anything but for the shape of this dress with the drop waist i think made all the difference in benefitting from sizing down! 

Based on the reviews I ordered a 2 and 0. Couldn’t breathe in the 0 and had to use fashion tape to keep the straps on the 2 from moving. Loved wearing it and the size definitely comes with the style. It was great for a warm summer wedding!

Loved this dress and received so many compliments on it, the color is perfect for a July wedding. Beware though, it runs very large. I am a true 4 and read reviews prior to ordering and decided on a 2 and a back up size 0. I ended up wearing the 0 and it was still a bit big! I’m 5’4 and wore small heels and the length was fine. 

Wore to a black tie event in Hawaii! Got so many compliments! Was a little long for me but just wore higher heels. 

Definitely snug so probably better to size up.  But very pretty dress.  It was such a fun color.  

Maybe it's been worn once or twice... but it felt a little stretched out. I wore a bra, would've preferred not to, but still a gorgeous color!

This dress was so beautiful and a great color! Downside was that my smaller size still wasn’t small enough, so we had to safety pin the straps. I wore my hair down for the wedding but wish it had just fit! Would rent again, would just size 2 sizes down!

I ordered a 2 and 4, I usually wear between a 4-8 in regular clothes but a lot of comments said to size down, definitely size down! I think I  could’ve ordered a 0 and it would’ve fit the best. The 2 was great, I ended up using 2 sided tape on the straps just to keep everything in place. So many compliments, I definitely recommend!!

I only sized down one size and the dress itself (especially the straps were so long). Otherwise, it’s a beautiful dress with a beautiful drop waist. The skirt also has a ton of fabric, so it wasn’t ideal for a hot southern June wedding. 

I wore this to my daughter’s June wedding and received so many compliments! I’m looking forward to wearing it again to a formal wedding in early fall. The fabric is gorgeous in person and is light enough to be comfortable at an outdoor wedding in the summer. 

Loved this dress and plan to rent it again!!!!  It was so easy comfortable, and I received so many compliments!!   It does run larger, and I had to use tape on the shoulders to keep them in place.  I wore a size 4 and may rent a smaller size for the next time.  So fun to dance in!

I loved this dress, I listened to other reviewers and since I’m usually a 12 I ordered a 10 and 8. Honestly I tried the 10 on first and liked the fit so I never even tried the 8. It’s such a comfortable dress and a really light fabric that still seems very formal. It’s really versatile you can dress it up or down, and it was basically floor length on me. I’m 5’5/5’6. It’s definitely not hiding the bust at all, if I was to own the dress I would definitely get the straps shortened a bit to keep the girls in a tiny bit better, and the straps did fall to the side a few times but there’s enough coverage that I didn’t have any issues. It’s such a fun color also, I wore it with red heels and loved the bright all red moment. Also I was worried about drop waist bc I’ve never done it before and I do have a pooch but I got so many compliments and felt really confident. 

Perfect for a formal event, the color is phenomenal, and the drop waist is flattering! The dress runs really big, I wish I would have gone down two sizes. The straps are long and awkward unless you stand properly at all times. Overall would rent again, just in a smaller size! 

Absolutely loved this dress!!! The drop waist, depending on how I was standing, could look a little weird due to how short I am. Overall though I was super happy with it! Wore to a good friend’s wedding and received tons of compliments. If you have a bigger bust, it’s definitely

Usually would go for a size 6 - so glad I went for 4! It fit perfectly! Keeping in mind I am not super busty. The color is GORGEOUS- got so so many compliments. LOVED this look! 

It was AMAZING. I wore these for my engagement photos and I couldn't have picked a better dress. I loved it so much! 

I ordered my usual size, 12, and size 10 as a back up. Thankfully!! I was swimming in the 12 and the 10 fit perfectly. Got so many compliments, was comfortable, and the dress is so flattering.
