If you’ve got the patience to figure out how to pin this dress, it’s a stunner!

I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge wrap dress person. I don’t know if I just didn’t read the details enough but I always feel like a wrap dress doesn’t completely wrap well for me, for my small chest or the length of my walking stride, so it feels very much like an accident waiting to happen, but I did get a lot of compliments on this dress, and it was a very beautiful color.

I’m impressed with anyone that made this dress work for them. The way it’s constructed makes it nearly impossible to close around the chest area, which is why you can see me holding it in the front. I wanted to like this dress so badly because the fabric is gorgeous. However, the top part was just way too hard and would’ve required so much work to make look ok. 

I got so many compliments. This dress stole the show! But I had to pin the chest closed it was way too big 

LOVED this dress! However, I ended up pinning the boobs up a bit because it had too much cleavage. 

The dress is supposed to drape in all the right places, which it does... with a LOT of styling tape.  I'll be honest, I should have used stronger tape because of how much was needed.  I got SOOOO many compliments on this dress though and once I finally stopped worrying about it I loved it.

Loved this dress but the top was just too loose, even after taping it felt like I was going to be adjusting all night so I didn’t wear it. Next time I’ll try a smaller size! 

This was the perfect dress for my performance. So many compliments from this one!! I am pretty flat chested so I did have to tie the crossover extremely tight and use a lot of dress tape to keep the shoulder straps on and the front taped to my skin so I wouldn’t expose myself lol. This is only necessary if you are planning on doing a lot of physical activity in it like dancing or playing an instrument haha. Otherwise it was perfect the color and fabric are beautiful.

Super comfy, material had a nice stretch.  Very low cut cut made it work with pins and tape.  Loved it.

Didn’t know what to wear for a black-tie NYE wedding so I ended up here on RTR. I ordered a large and a medium as my backup size.

The dress itself was gorgeous! Unfortunately, the medium was a bit too small and the large was a bit too large. But I could work with “too large.” Not only did I have to safety pin the chest area (as expected thanks to other reviews) but I also pinned the spaghetti strap and the ruffle strap/sleeve to be smaller since I have small shoulders. 

The bust of this dress really is super weird, as everyone else said. But since I have small-medium boobs, it only took one safety pin to close that part up. I didn’t wear a bra and that was the right decision for me in this instance.

If you’re on the fence, I say give this dress a try! As long as you have enough fabric, I feel like you can pin it to your heart’s content and make it work for you.

It’s very low cut. I recommend pinning the dress, I also ordered in a long so it was perfect length with my shoes.

The dress fit so well and I received a ton of compliments all night long . 

I absolutely love this dress, it was so unique and definitely stood out! The only thing was the straps were a little loose and I had to fix with a few safety pins but otherwise it was the perfect gown for the perfect night! 

I doubt it’s possible for anyone to wear this dress without a few safety pins! The dress is beautiful and I got so many compliments on it! There are plenty of ruffles to hide the safety pins holding the top together. It all worked out in the end!

The top was way too large and probably built for someone a lot more busty than I am. So I had to wear a shirt underneath. But then the string to hold it together as a wrap around was far too short so I had to hold the dress closed while walking or it would come undone all the way to the waist. Seems like the proportions are off. The rose print was lovely. The velvet was unexpected but welcome. 

Oh man. I looked at the other reviews thinking “a few safety pins? No big deal.” But holy cow! I was so excited to get this dress for the marine corps ball and knew I had to make some adjustments, but I think only 1 other review really illustrated how plungy the neckline was if you can even call it that. More like a classy, strip show ball dress. Once I put it on, I laughed and had to show my husband. It is RIDICULOUS how low it plunges with no support. Like my boobs would be straight up popping out without safety pins and fashion tape and I don’t even have big boobs! I kind of wish I rented another gown but I’ll make this work. BUT, if you do so choose to go down this route…. It’s a beautiful dress and you’ll get lots of compliments. It just takes more work to make it fit if you’re willing.

So cute, I had to pin the front to lessen the v-cut but an easy solution! 

I read the reviews and came prepared with pins and fashion tape for the extra open top. I got so many compliments on this dress, it really is gorgeous. 

The dress arrived Wednesday for a Saturday engagement, it was so nice having a backup size, just in case.  I felt beautiful in the dress and received a ton of compliments.  I would definitely rent from this company again!

Absolutely loved this dress! Got so many compliments, many from strangers. I felt like the straps made it so unique and I loved the mixed fabrics. I’m a 14/16 and the 1XR was a little roomy in the bust—which is saying something because I have a larger bust (38G). But I pinned it a few places and was fine all night. I’m 5’5” and this juuust barely skimmed the ground with a 3” wedge, so I don’t know that it would work well with higher heels. Overall, it was very comfortable and I would definitely rent again!

Wore this to a wedding at a ranch and got lots of compliments. Similar to other reviews it did gape at the front, but nothing some safety pins and fashion tape couldn’t fix. The fabric and fit were beautiful otherwise. 

I’ll start off by saying i got compliments all night long! I truly felt stunning and i loved the flowy skirt of it. However; I am 5’1” 140 lbs with a larger bust and usually fluctuate between Small and Medium. The medium was just too big all over, too much fabric in the skirt and weighed me down, not to mention the extremely gaping top and extra length. I could have never worn it. The small fit me much better in all areas but the chest. It was very frustrating to try to find the right way to pin it as it was either too gaping or too tight. I was unable to find a secure and comfortable fit all night. I’m chalking it up to the fact that it’s a wrap dress and that just not be a good style for me.
I have another dress reserved from Hutch and i’m hoping the sizing is a little
more normal. 

Never had a wrap dress but once I figured it out, I was fine! I read that some people needed a bunch of safety pins but I just used one for the cleavage and that was it! I had 2 inch heels and it was to the floor

really pretty color and fabric but the fit is sooo awkward. I am usually between a small and medium but small was unavailable so I ordered a medium. The bust area is soooo large, I'm not really sure how it's supposed to fit and I don't have a small bust. I ended up having to use a lot of safety pins and fashion tape to tape it to my bra. It's also pretty long and was annoying to dance in all night as a short girl. I ended up tying it up with a hair tie so I could dance in peace. I got a ton of compliments but man was I glad this is just a rental and not a purchase. 

This dress would fit better in someone who has a long torso. The great part was the wrap around and not having to worry about tummy control. The flow was great- got many compliments from walking around at the wedding. As many have commented, the straps are not adjustable and getting the top to stay put took pin and tape.

Got soooo many compliments on this dress at the black tie wedding i wore it to. I read other reviews stating this ran bigger, but my experience was the opposite. If you have a large chest, i suggest getting a back up size that is larger. Thankfully I was able to pull it together with a lot of fashion tape and safety pins. Loved the RTR experience! 

I ordered the SR and MR because I am usually between sizes. I ended up going with the MR because that one had enough fabric in the chest area for me to pin together. The fit at the waist is probably true to size, but the chest area is VERY loose/low cut, so it doesn't matter what size breasts you have, you'll probably need to make some adjustments.  Some previous renters also mentioned that a gust of wind could expose your undies, and I would have to agree, but knowing this was possible I wore black spandex bike shorts and didn't worry abut it again. Also, I'm 5'3" and I wore 3" heels and the dress was just barely not touching the ground. 

I'm giving the dress 4 stars because of all the compliments I received, but I would give 3 on fit alone.

Overall very pretty dress and fit great. I ended up having to pin the chest as it was beyond low cut and showed more of my chest and bra then was appropriate for a formal work event. 

Runs true to size but as other reviews state cleavage is very deep and you will need to adjust with tape or safety pin, not a big deal TBH. Overall a very nice dress, good quality of velvet and fabric. The leg slit and off the shoulder detail give some sexiness to this classy dress. 

So flattering and comfortable. The open leg slit is prefect. 

This dress was a smashing hit at the Spanish villa inspired wedding I attended. When I took it out of the bag, it looked humongous and I had ti figure out how to wrap the dress. I had read on reviews that the neckline was plunging, but DAMN!! I ended up pinning it a bit bc it plunged almost my belly button. 
Fit aside, it's a spectacular gown and sure to wow all the people at the event

This was just ok for me. The crisscross wrapping part is oddly placed so the chest gaps hugely. Had to pin it and I don't even have a large chest. But would have definitely flashed what little I do have had I not pinned it. Also was a bit short for a formal gown i thought (I'm 5'8"). Overall was just okay- pretty for a winter wedding but not super comfortable and constantly fiddling with chest all night. 

The fit of this dress is strange. It’s not obvious by looking at it and I got lots of compliments on it, however it’s a wrap dress and I was afraid of it falling off! (It didn’t, I tied it tight!) I have worn wrap dresses before and generally like them, I just felt like this one wasn’t secure enough. The ties need to be wider. The neckline is also waaayy to low and loose and I had to safety pin it. 

I ordered an XS and S, and although they both fit I liked the S better. It is a true wrap dress, loved the leg slit. Wayyyy too open in the front and definitely needed some safety pinning to avoid unwanted peek-a-boos. Overall I felt lovely in it and loved the way it moved!

Like all the other reviews mention, the neckline of this dress is very large and you will need to safety pin it closed. Other than that, I love love loved this dress! 

Dress fit well, however the top was super large for my bust. I didn't want as much cleavage as this dress allows so I pinned it up a lot. It's a true wrap dress so no zips or snaps - just 2 strings tying to together. It didn't bother me - but something of which to be aware. 

Had a really hard time keeping the girls in. Luckily I wore this for a Mardi Gras ball so I counted on the beads to keep for wardrobe malfunctions.
I had fashion tape fairs but it didn't keep the dress put unfortunately.
Gorgeous dress though, great fit otherwise
