Love this shift for a summer work day. Runs 1-2 sizes big, I usually wear a 4/6 and rented a 2 which fits perfectly. The material is thick, sort of ribbon-like. A bit on the shorter size as well- I'm 5'6 and felt most comfortable wearing flats or low heels with this one. 

I used this dress for an outdoor awards ceremony which required a black a white dress. It was loose in the midsection but right around the thighs. Overall loved the dress! So cute and received so many compliments. Only thing is it's more black and beige than black and white

I am normally a 6 or an 8, but can wear anything from an 8 to a 10 in dresses, simply because I have a wide rib cage and boobs.  So, when I read reviews saying it ran huge, I crossed my fingers and rented a 4.  I am glad I did, because it did run huge and the 4 worked nicely.  The length and style is appropriate for work, the fabric is good quality, and the print is really pretty.  I liked this outfit alot -- it looked completely effortless and worked well for my business casual/business attire office. I got compliments from the vendors I work with as well!  It is kinda shapeless, which I didn't mind. If you have an apple shape or don't HAVE to have the waist cinched in, you would probably like this dress.  I am athletic build, with a bigger chest and smaller hips, and I thought it worked great.  I wore black flats, minimal jewelry, and my hair up in a pony tail, and looked like a boss.  I would say rent this dress two sizes down from your normal dress size.

This dress fit me perfectly and I loved the fabric. However it did smell of body odor from the previous owner. 

A little tight in the hips but that's just because I have wide hips and I sized down because I read it runs large. Other than that, it fit perfectly. A really thick fabric and looks very high quality. Got so many compliments. Wore it for a football game. 

Strange extra fabric in the waist area. The pattern was fun though. Material is a little thicker than I expected and it wrinkled easily. Would be great in the fall/winter with tights. It's definitely short for us tall girls! The sleeves help balance it, but for a conservative look you'll want  tights 

I'm tall and narrow so often struggle with things being a little to short and a little too wide. The dress also sort of wrinkled in the back but the fabric is thick and high quality. Wore this once and probably won't wear or rent again but it's a cool dress!

Definitely runs large- I usually wear a 4/6 and a 2 fit me in this. Cute for a summer work day. High quality material (almost ribbon-like) and unique print. 

Once I belted this dress it looked cuter. The dress is very boxy and stiff. Without a belt it puffs out in the front. It's a thicker material. 

Much stiffer an thick than I expected. I was really looking forward to this rental which may have been why I was so underwhelmed. It's a little long on my frame and the sleeve caps fall an inch off my shoulders. I got compliments but I didn't feel wowza in it. 

This was a weird one for me. I have really muscular arms so this actually was true to size there, but a total tent everywhere else - and since it was such stiff material, it didn't really have the flowy structure that you want from a shift. It also wrinkled a lot during the work day, to the point where the lining was actually longer than the dress by lunchtime. I still wore to work and happy hour so it wasn't a total bust, and I like the pattern.

I'm a size 6, 34D, and could have used the small in this one. I made the medium work by belting the middle, but there was some extra fabric bunching. Super cute for work though! Got my wear out of it. :) 

This dress was okay. Definitely runs large. I wouldn't mind the largeness as it was a shift and I like that look but the arms/shoulders were large too which I didn't love. I actually still got compliments but the fit just wasn't there 

After reading reviews, I sized down to a 2 though I normally wear a 4/6. Even still, the dress was incredibly boxy and the heavy fabric made it really feel like a potato sack. I actually love shift dresses because my hips give them a little shape, but this did nothing. I even added a belt and rolled up the sleeves, which would've make it workable for a day, but I didn't feel cute or confident so ended up changing. 

This is a great printed dress for everyday or work. It can easily be worn from day to night. It does run very big! Size down 2 sizes.

Overall, very good option for work. Cool pattern, nice, thicker material. Runs true to size but as someone with broader shoulders, it was slightly tight in the arms. Not tight enough to size up but made it a little uncomfortable to raise my arms. In general, I'd recommend.



The dress has a cute pattern and is a good length. The downside is it's way too boxy around the shoulders. I could have ordered a size 6 and been fine. 

The dress definitely runs a little bit big, but that was okay for me. I have a problem with shift dresses a lot because I'm a little busty for my size, so the cut of this was perfect. It was a nice dress for a day at work. I styled it with a leather jacket, strappy flats and a necklace. Not excited enough about it to rent again, but definitely got a nice outfit from it!

Rented through unlimited, but it was way too big - had to send back immediately. Pattern is nice and the material is heavy and luxurious.

I have rented this dress twice using my unlimited, both in a 2 and a 4. The 2 fits like a perfect shift dress - a little baggy in all the right places but the pattern still makes it flattering. I would recommend sizing down if you are short or petite. 

Unlike the shirt of the same pattern this is a much thicker material and is pretty shapeless. The lining ended up riding way up after I went for a little walk in it. I didn't mind the look of the dress and would probably rent again if it weren't for the liner. It looks pretty chic.

I received this as part of my unlimited, but ended up having to return it the next day due to the size being too large. There weren't any reviews at the time of rental so I just guessed and chose my normal size (m). It was really cute though and I plan on re-renting it in a smaller size. 

I'm typically a 2-4, and ordered the size 2 (the tags were still on the dress, which I loved!). Unfortunately, it ran large and I ended up swapping the dress for another.

This brand runs large. I wore the dress to work and loved the pattern, but it felt like I was wearing a tent.

The pattern is really cute and versatile, but it's a very stiff fabric. I usually don't mind loose fitting dresses like this, but because it was so stiff, it was just too boxy/shapeless. 

Very cute print though, wish the fit was more spot on. Ended up wearing something from my own closet. Bummer! 

Great print, but runs very big.  Didn't have time to swap for a different size before a work event so I made it work, but definitely size down.

I immediately loved the pattern on this dress and the texture-like effect it created. The fabric was also of a nice, heavy quality, perfect for a cooler summer day. However, the fit was a bit odd. The shoulders fit will, but the rest of the dress was quite baggy (there was about 6 inches between my back and the fabric). Not that it's a measure of "good clothes," but I received far less compliments wearing this dress (my usual garb is jeans and a tee, so dresses stick out) than I have with other Rent the Runway dresses. 

I thought this dress was really cute both online and in person...however it ran so big I couldn't wear it :-/

I am expecting, so I definitely was prepared for a shift dress with some roominess but it still felt too sack-like. This dress has beautiful, thick fabric so I think if someone prefers this fit, it would be a lovely dress.

I didn't wind up wearing this because it ran so large and was extremely unflattering. I could have gone down two sizes in order for this to look and fit better. It was way too boxy on me. However, the fabric is really nice quality and the print is very nice. I was bummed I couldn't wear this!
