I wore a medium, and it fit perfectly. Obsessed with this dress would be an understatement. The high neckline, and sleeves made it not so skimpy. I didn't want to return. Will rent again! 

This dress is amazing. It runs true to size.  I was initially looking for a red dress but this ombré style really caught my eye. I knew the moment I put it on that it was perfect!  I received so many compliments. Thank you Rent the Runway for making the process of renting so easy!

This dress is tight as expected. The arms are tights. So many compliments!!

The dress runs small, like other reviewers have stated, but was perfect otherwise. My husband loved it on me, which made me happy. 

First Herve dress I've ever worn. Apparently they all are similar in fit where they are probably the tightest dress you will ever wear. However, it's killer once you get it on. Lots of compliments. Fits just above the knee.

I wore this beautiful dress to a fall beach wedding (shoes optional) and it was a huge hit. It hugs your curves without being showy and the length helps keep you conservative, but you stay sexy. I'm normally a S in Herve, but since this is a new dress I went with the M and it felt great all night. The colors are just as wonderful as they look online.

I usually wear a small, but you'll need to size up with a Herve Leger. The color was stunning and for a form fitting dress, it was pretty comfortable all night. A definite hit!

I usually wear a small in this designer, but the M fit very tight. Sleeves made it a little hot to wear but perfect for cool nights. 

This herve does run small as I am usually a small in Herve but the medium fit perfect except the arms are a little weird. Otherwise, the colors were perfect for the holidays with the red and gold tones. I wore this over Christmas day and paired it with my coach purse and shoe which were also shimmery. I would definitely rent this again! 

I sized up and felt very comfortable in the dress, versus squeezed in! A little loose at the arms, but the rest of the fit perfect. Hugs in all the right places and very wearable. Wore to a chef event and not only could move freely, but definitely stood out in a great way! Stunning dress. I will definitely rent this one again!

This dress is AWESOME! It is VERY TIGHT but once I got over that (I never wear tight dresses) I rocked it so hard. I got a ton of compliments and felt amazing. It does squish your boobs a lot (I'm a 38 C) but a padded bra helped. 

Ive worn size S and M in HL, and the Medium was fine on me (I'm a solid size 4). It wasn't super tight and was easy to zip, so I'm guessing if there were a choice in sizes I could have gone down one. I wasn't expecting the opening in the sleeve at the bicep, if you are shy about your biceps, just something to note. I wore this for a few hours and was comfortable, Ive had some issues with HL stretching out over an evening, but I don't think this one did. Not sure if that is because I didn't wear it particularly long, or maybe this sample is in better shape than others I have tried from this site. Overall, I really liked it - mostly for those colors, they are stunning. 

Took two people to put this on me, but once it was on, it didn't go ANYWHERE! Loved that it had little sleeves -- meant I wasn't fussing with a strapless top or bra all night. Got tons of compliments. Granted, this is TIGHT (as all Herve Leger dresses are!), so I felt like I was sucking in my belly for a lot of the night, but once in the middle of the dance floor...didn't matter anymore! Highly recommended rental.

The zipper definitely is the toughest part of the dress. But once up it is so comfortable, you can move around and dance in it. It's form fitting but it shapes you perfectly. I didn't order this dress, but the dress I had ordered in a medium didn't show up, so they sent this one in a medium instead. I definitely am so glad they sent this one. I couldn't ask for a better dress. 

Super comfortable, easy to move around in. Sucks you in, for sure.  I went with rose gold accessories. 

Wore this dress to work. I own another Herve dress in small but decided to go with a medium in this which was more comfortable and office appropriate.  I wore a sweater and I had a lab coat over this but really no option for a bra. The dress dips down in the back. The colors are beautiful and I received tons of compliments. 

Fit beautifully. My husband's favorite dress I've ever worn! I got so many compliments all night (even from men). Will definitely rent this again. 

This is the second time I've rented Herve Leger dress for an event. It holds the girls in well and there is no need for shapewear under the dress. It takes a little work to get the dress on, but once it's on, it's comfortable all night.

Love this dress. Perfect for and end of summer wedding in NOLA. I got a medium, because they did not have a small left. Due to the very tight nature of Herve the medium worked fine, except the neck and arm area was just a little too big. Not a make or break situation though. I am very petite and it hit at a good length for a wedding. Besides the looseness of the sleeves and be working to pull them up, the dress for very comfortable.  

Not super flattering on me since I have a bit of a tummy & not enough boobs to make up for it, but that's not the dress' fault! ;)  Weighed about 160 when I wore this; I could've sworn it was a large, but the site is only letting me select medium for this review so maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

Dress was tight enough to hide any imperfections without being uncomfortable.

 I love that is comfortable and allow you to eat and dance as well as making you look like a gem.

I wish I could buy all the HL dresses. I know bandage dresses get tiresome, but for those with hourglass shapes naturally it is such a treat to have a dress that will fit large breast without a bra and be small enough in the waist not to alter! So sexy and the length on this makes it daytime appropriate! This dress was a bit tighter than some HL dresses...Maybe newer...if your extremely busty make sure you get the two sizes to experiment with! Beautiful colors

Fit well, tight, like all HL dresses. It rode up a lot though while dancing. Was just OK - looked much better in the picture then on. 

This dress is amazing! The ombre really makes the dress pop (more than the body-conscious design already does). It is TIGHT, and tough to get on, but once you zip it up it looks amazing. I do recommend sizing up if it's an option. I would have gotten a large if it had been available.

This dress - I have admired for quite some time; However, the fit was SUPER small. I could've worn it (maybe) but the snugness had it riding up a bit in back. Thanks to the helpful and always on call RTR staff, another design was shipped out immediatley and fit perfect. For this dress... know your size and order a size bigger - or two.

Watch what bra you would wear.  I loved the shoulder line, but bra straps aren't the best idea with this dress.
