LOVED this dress. I received so many compliments from total strangers. I have shorter Herve Leger dresses in size small that are tighter than this one. I should have ordered a safety size in XS. I don't know if it was bigger due to more wear then mine get but it still worked. I used double sided tape along the neckline to keep it in place and taped my chest as I was unable to wear a bra. Wish I owned this dress. It was gorgeous. 

Dress fits like a curvy glove! You will need toupee tape to keep shoulders from slipping. I was able to wear flats with this. Love the Herve Leger gowns! 

I wore this dress for a black tie wedding, and I received so many compliments. It is extremely comfortable and easy to dance in. I did not wear a bra with the dress as it's cut low, and I was fine without. The only "issue" I ran into was that the dress seemed to grow as the day/night went on. By the end of the night I was trying not to step on it. Other than that, I would definitely rent again.

Very deep navy dress, low v in the front and back. Fabric is thick and holds you in, but the heaviness makes it pull down. The regular length was almost too long for me at 5 7 in 4 inch heels.

BEAUTUFUL dress!! Got compliments all night. Fits like a glove. Dress is heavy, but easy to wear! Some reviews said it got loose as the night goes on because it's so heavy, but I didn't notice. Only complaint is that the straps were a little loose but even though they were loose and VERY low cut, everything stayed in place all night! The dress defiantly says put! I used garment tape, but it didn't really stick to my skin.  If your big busted, might be a little reveling, but i didn't care! It's a beautiful dress, I just loved it! I'm 5'9 and 160lbs, I wore flats and it was perfect length and I did wear a spanx with it. Medium fit perfect and could of been a tad smaller with no prob. Nice treat to wear this beautiful gown!! 

Only little issue was the lengtb... i'm 5'9" & was wearing 3" heels & the dress was still a little long

I loved this dress. I am a size 6 and the small fit perfect. I received tons of compliments all night. I am 5'7 and with my 4" heels-the dress just touched the floor. I did notice it getting longer as the night went on. Overall- great dress and I rented the earrings too! 

This dress is amazing. The material is thick and heavy; however, the dress formed to my body perfectly. A couple things to note: 1) I'm 5'11" and ordered a medium regular, I wore 3+ inch heels, and the dress was still dragging on the floor a tiny bit (not that I found that to be problematic). I was ecstatic that I found a long dress that actually fit! Tall girls, this dress is for you. 2) I found that the straps were a tad loose on my shoulders, but they never slipped even while dancing. And honestly, it was only something I noticed while getting dressed and I never thought of it again. 3) I received compliments all night long - people love this dress. I will most definitely rent another dress by this designer for my next formal event. Go with this one - you will NOT be disappointed. 

This dress is gorgeous!! Heavy material so the way it hangs on your body is very flattering! I felt so beautiful! It was long though! I had at least 4.5 inch heels on and it still was dragging.  Would definitely rent again!

I love HL dresses! They are super fitted and hug your every curve.. the quality is superb, and the color is amazing - wore it with red high heels. The v-neck in the front (and actually the back) is pretty low, so you may have to get creative to hide that bra. I'm 5'9, about 130-ish lbs, and medium fit just great.. even the length was great with 4 inch heels - the dress is heavy though, but worth it! Numerous compliments!

In true Hervé style, the fabric quality and fit were exquisite.  This was my first floor length experience with this designer as I had always done shorter versions and loved them.  I think the full length gown is truly the best of them all!  The navy color is a true dark navy and the detail at the bottom of the skirt is modern yet simple and elegant.  I absolutely loved this gown and my husband loved how the gown fit on me.  I wore the regular length and heels, it was quite long so I had to be careful.  The taller you are, and higher the heel the better.  I want to buy this gown and have it shortened.  It was perfection.  Don't want to return it!  I hope RTR stocks more of these gowns in the shorter or regular length.  

I rented this in XS and XSP, and ended up wearing the XSP bc of the length. I'm 5"6' and the petite was the perfect length for me without heels. The regular XS was way too long even with heels. The dress fit very nicely, except the shoulders kept slipping. Throughout the night I had to keep pulling the shoulders back but other than that I felt great in the dress. 

Wore this to a black tie wedding. The material is stretchy and hugs you in well. Was able to wear a black strapless bra. The medium dress was great length with 3 inch heels. However the small was very long. I would have had to wear 4 inch heals and it would have still been too long. Loved this dress and received a lot of compliments. 

This dress is definitely revealing but still in good taste. If you are a bit on the curvy side, it is a great dress. 

Amazing fabric and quality. Top was a little loose because I'm smaller in that area, but nothing that double sided tape couldn't take care. Love Herve Leger and I will absolutely will rent this one again. 

The color was gorgeous! The small was about 5 inches too long so I opted to wear the XSR. The plunge was deeper than I expected as I am a 34DD. So as not to look inappropriate walking down the aisle, I sacrificed the low back of the dress by wearing my hair down. One of the bridesmaids used a choker to secure the back of the straps together across my back. It was hidden by my hair. I also felt that the plunge was too deep so I fashion taped a piece of blue silk that perfectly matched the color of the dress in a V to modify the plunge. It worked and no one could tell. I felt more comfortable being a bit more conservative that way. I wore 4 inch heels and the weight of the fabric did cause it to stretch as the night wore on. 

The dress was stunning. I was a bit worried about whether or not the MR would fit but it was the only available size. Luckily it fit like a glove! The dress is super long so even with my highest heels (over 3 inches), I needed to safety pin it up. The shoulders were a bit overly stretched so I needed to tape them to my upper back/shoulders to keep it from falling off.  All in all, I was pleased though. 

This dress fit perfectly! Long and sleek! I am 5'9, 126 lbs and i couldnt have found a better dress than this one. I didn't want to return it ! Will definitely rent again!!!!!

This dress was an absolute stunner! As other reviews mentioned, the regular size dress was super long.  I would not have been able to wear the dress had I not ordered the petite, which was the perfect length. I received compliments all evening and was thrilled with my first RTR gown! 

This dress was great. Very figure flattering, loved the way it fit. A clean blank slate for your accessories. The small was a little too small for my bust but that is just me, (34 DD) no fault of the gown! I would definitely rent this designer again. 

This dress fit like a glove! No bra and was absolute perfection! I received compliments ALL night! The dark blue was a great shade and went well with my bronze skin tone. 

I loved this dress! I wore it to a NYE party and was the best dressed. A couple things about the dress: I can tell the dress I received had been worn many times- it felt stretched out and had some worn areas (mostly on the bottom of the dress). The low cut of the dress was tricky, but I wore a nubra and used fashion tape. Highly recommend this dress! 

I ordered the SR and the XSR as a back up and ended up wearing the XS. I loved the v-neck front and back and the body con fit. The only issue I had was that the dress was a little long even with 3' heals. Besides that, this dress fun to wear!

i rented this for my cousins wedding.. i received so many compliments.. the material is very heavy and stretchy. i felt more comfortable in the small. although i have a bigger bust .. i needed double sided tape to help me from falling out of it

I rented this for a black tie wedding. While i felt it wasn't formal enough; I wish this was the dress I ended up wearing! It was so comfortable and very forgiving! I will definitely find an event to wear this dress and rent it again. I am a 34DD and highly recommend taping the dress to avoid falling out. 

I loved this dress, it was perfect for a fall wedding! I was able to wear heels with this and not have it be too short or drag on the ground. I was also able to wear a normal bra with this with some assistance from double sided tape. The cleavage was *almost* too much but still tasteful. I wore this dress for nearly 12 hours, towards the end it was getting heavy but it still hugged in all the right spots!

Truly couture and so luxe. I felt like a movie star wearing this gown. It is definitely heavy and lonnnng - plan to wear heels! Gorgeous color and super comfortable. 

Definitely runs long. I wore 5 inch heels and the dress touched the ground. It is rather heavy but extremely comfortable. I recommend wearing spanks to smooth everything out. You likely will not need a bra. Although, it's nice I have some tape to make sure there's no nip slips.  If you are large busted I do not believe this dress would work very well.  It's a very flattering dress.  I wore this with the blue pear stone earrings and ring. And rented the Zac Posen Caviar Minaudière purse.   

I received SO many compliments on this dress! It fit perfectly and was super comfortable. It was a little too warm for the humid weather we experienced, so it's probably best for a late fall or winter event. 

Perfect design and construction to hold you in. The top is a deeper V-neck so you will be showing cleavage. I am only 5'4" and the dress was still long for me with 4" heels on. I did not need to wear spanx. 

This dress fit great except for the length. I had to tack up more than 6 inches to make it work even with my 5 inch heels. I mean I'm a short girl but it's crazy long.  Otherwise it's beautiful. 


I loved this dress. I did not want to give it back. It made me feel amazing. I only wore 3 inch heels and the dress was a tad too long. Other than that it was perfect. 

I wore this dress for a WP formal-- it was sophisticated and appropriate for the event and I couldn't have been more comfortable in it. It is form fitting and I loved the way it hugged and accentuated my curves. I got so many compliments on this dress and would definitely rent it again! 

Unfortunately, this dress is stretchy but doesn't 'bounce back.'   By the time the wedding ceremony started I was almost falling out of the dress.  It was super uncomfortable as i couldn't wear a bra, so
I had zero support (I'm large  chested) We had to rig the dress with some fasters in the back to keep me from being completely inappropriate.  The xs probably would have been better for me, but it was unavailable, and my back up dress didn't look great on me.  The small would be great on someone a bit larger than me i think.   It was also long on me in the regular and i wore 5" heels.   I'm 5'6"

Beautiful dress! I received a lot of compliments and felt great wearing it. It ran a little long on me since I am only 5'4" but will HIGH heals and double sided tape I was able to make it work. 

This dress was extremely flattering!! Hugs in all the right places- I was getting compliments all night!
