Small was more comfortable than XS but it was too large on the sides of my chest. XS was snug but comfortable and i danced, walked and sat easily

LOVED this dress. I didn't want to send it back. Hides all your flaws and makes you feel like a million bucks. It is snug at first. It's also SUPER low so have fabric tape on hand to make sure your goodies stay hidden. You'll love this dress. Rent it!

First let me say I loved this dress. I usually wear a size 6 so I ordered the medium and the small. I am a 32DD and the top on the medium was huge. Even the small seamed stretched out quite a bit in the chest. My husband had to be on bra patrol all night because the top was stretched out and didn't stay in place. That being said I felt amazing, looked great in all the photos, and was very happy with this rental. 

The dress is obviously very comfortable and will fall to around your knee. Very classy and elegant it gives you a tremendous figure and the materials is thick, there are no cons to the stress. I'm a 32DDD and had no issues with bust. I wore it to a nightclub in Puerto Rico and received complement after complement. Can't go wrong with this dress.

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner and got a lot of compliments on it! Very flattering, even after a large meal and dessert.

The dress fit tightly to all my curves. The material is very thick and comfortable.  The plunging neck line bares much cleavage.

If you have a big bust... be careful. This holds everything in place, since it is a Herve; however it is very low cut. Of course my husband loved it! The color was amazing. I got tons of compliments on it all night. Fit like a glove and sucked everything in. 

I'm a HUGE fan of Herve dresses! When getting into it it feels like it will be too tight... But once you get it zipped up it's absolute magic! I previously rented a small by the same designer because xs was not available and it was way too big. Not sure if it was the fit of the small or that the dress was stretched out but I couldn't wear it.  But this is an amazing dress that will suck you in and make you feel wonderful!

I ordered this dress to wear out to dinner and bars for New Years' Eve and I absolutely loved it! It fit me like a glove and I was complimented so many times by so many people I really wish I could buy it and continue wearing it. The material was a little thicker than I was expecting, but that ended up being a good thing since it was pretty chilly walking from place to place at the oceanfront. Also, it was quite difficult to zip it up all the way the first time I tried it on (much easier when I was actually putting it on to wear out) so I'd definitely suggest trying it on before you plan to wear it out. The neckline was beautiful, but you can't wear a normal bra with it (I used chicken cutlets) and it is low cut so it isn't for shy gals! Bottom line: this is the perfect dress if you wanna look hot and stand out.

This dress is a showstopper. It is very low cut, but not so much that it was vulgar. The length was the perfect length to make it classy as well. It's definitely difficult to pull off classy and sexy simultaneously and with the right balance, but this dress did it, somehow! Very happy with this dress rental. I'm hooked on Hervé!

From the color to the fit to the confidence it gives you, this dress is just absolutely stunning!  If I could afford a brand spanking new Herve, I would invest it in this exact dress.

I wore a size small and it fit me perfect. Has some stretch to it but very tight. Holds everything in place. I have no complaints. I received compliments all night long from both men and women. Very happy with my decision to rent this dress. I would do it again. 

Rented this for my birthday party at a hotel rooftop bar.  I ordered the small and I'm not really a small so I didnt eat much the entire day. It was too tight for underwear and you can't really do a bra either. I used the double sided tape.  The dess is worth all of the inconvenience though.  My boyfriend loved it and so did everyone else.  Nothing but stares and compliments all night.

I wore this dress for the 21st birthday and I almost cried having to send it back! I got complimented all night! Customer service is amazing as well! I originally ordered the medium as well as the small I wore. The day my order was to arrive RTR called me saying the renter before me destroyed the medium. They sent me two other dresses just in case the small didn't fit ( but it fit perfectly! ) I will definitely be renting again! 

It's very snug and I had to wear a small Cami underneath because the dress was so low cut.

This dress is GORGEOUS.  I rented it for a friend's Las Vegas bachelorette party weekend, which is pretty much the perfect setting.  Originally I ordered the medium and large, but the large was damaged and unavailable.  (RTR was awesome as always and let me substitute another dress FOR FREE as a result).  Despite my fears, the medium fit like a glove!  I was literally serenaded down the street by dudes singing "Laaaady in red..." and my friends said guys' heads were turning all night.

Like everyone says about HL dresses, the material is thick and holds you in exactly where you need it.  I loved that the plunging neckline and super tight fit were balanced by a slightly longer length and sleeves, so it looked sexy rather than skanky.  The necklace the model is wearing fits perfectly and went really well with my gold/white clutch and neutral heels.

Warning - I included the second picture to show what happens while sitting down!  Careful, this dress will give you insane cleavage even if you're pretty small in the bust like I am.

This dress was absolutely amazing! It is very low cut and I wore it to a wedding so at the church I had a wrap around my chest, but I received tons of compliments.  It is very attention grabbing so be prepared for looks.  I had figured the small would fit best and had just ordered the xs with it on a whim, but the xs actually complimented my figure a lot better.  Both were very difficult to get into (my roommate had to help me!) but its definitely worth it to go for the smaller size, it holds everything in.  I also rented the necklace, its Oscar de la Renta and its called the Luxembourg statement necklace.  Many of my friends said this made the dress!

I am a 34H so of course the girls were going to spill over but I was the center of attention all night long. Viva Herve! lol

It was a beautiful dress that had very stretchy material that made it fit like a glove and the red made me feel glamorous!

I am obsessed with the dress! I am a 34A and this dress gave me the best cleavage I have ever had. I usually wear a size small or extra small. Only the XS was available for my event so I went with it- definitely a little bit of a struggle to get on but it worked. The cut is really low so I wouldn't recommend wearing a regular bra with it. 

Great fit! Hugs every curve of your body. I  have a large bust and butt and small waist and the small was a perfect fit! Would definitely rent again!

Herve Leger dresses are just magic for every body type. It's like a dress made of Spanx that smooths everything out. Classy enough for a formal event but sexy enough for Vegas. 

Loved this dress!! I wore the Small, mostly because I didn't have the energy to try on the medium and find out it was too big and then put the small back on. (I had a stomach bug that day…hence not having a great picture of me with being able to see all of the dress! I didn't have many photos that night.)  However, the small seemed to fit great although tight, and I did feel like it stretched a little by the end of the night.  

Herve Ledger dress often have a strange way of fitting…there is a strip of fabric that goes right over the boob, I think which pushes it down.  I didn't wear a bra, and this is just something to be cautious of because while I didn't have a problem, I could see the need to readjust or your boob might pop out. 

I love being able to rent Herve Leger because it does not seem worth the cost, but his dresses are beautiful.  This dress was fantastic! I would definitely consider renting this again!

Wore M and the top was a bit big but my boobs are small and the hips felt tight but it doesn't look tight... If that makes sense. Very thick, heavy fabric and stretchy but not too got. Get a sticky plunge push-up bra if you're flat and no bra if you have good ones ;) 

I loved the fit of this dress! I just had a baby and it made me feel sassy and glamorous. It is very low cut, but when accessorized with the right necklace it's perfect. double sided tape also helped make me feel more secure in the dress. 

Wonderful fit. I am a full C cup, btw.  Tight bandage fit held everything in/up perfectly. I didn't wear spanx or a bra here.

I would love to own this dress, it's timeless, classic, and sexy.  Fit was like a glove, once zipped it's very comfortable and holds everything in.  I was able to wear a regular low cut plunge bra with it which I was worried about beforehand since I didn't know if the dress would be too low for a bra.  Simple accessories are best, I tried it with a large statement necklace and it was just too much, went with a classic diamond necklace and single bangle and it was perfect.  Let the dress speak for itself.  Absolutely amazing dress and probably the favorite Herve dress I've worn out of 10 or so!

You will definitely stand out in this dress. The long sleeves make the dress look very sophisticated. I rented teh same necklace the model wears and they look great together!

I loved this dress. I would definitely recommend wearing shape wear underneath it though. My boyfriend loved it. My only con would be that the neckline is lower than I anticipated. Had to wear a different bra than I'd planned, but it worked out. Overall, I loved this dress! 

The bust of the size S was a little too wide so I squeezed into the XS.  It holds you in perfectly without feeling constricting.  I got TONS of compliments on this dress. Its the definition of sexy without being scandalous.  I wore it with a wrap for the ceremony as it does amp up your cleavage.  I felt like a million bucks.

The dress fit perfectly.  It is not for shy women though as it is very formfitting and tight and draws a lot of looks.  I loved it!

This dress was perfectly sexy for my Bachelorette night. The length was great because I didn't want to have to worry about it being too short. Plus, the cut of the top is VERY low, so no bra for sure. I found that I had to keep adjusting the top all night to make sure I wasn't coming out anywhere - not the best for D+ women. The sleeves were very comfortable and not awkward, I was able to move my arms up and down just fine. I loved this dress for one night only - I don't think I would rent it again, however, or any other Herve Leger that has a deep cut in the front simply because I would have to keep readjusting myself all night.

My first Herve experience and I had the best time in this dress! I never fussed with it once and It fit me like a glove. I wore it on a 85 degree night and I wasn't sweating which was great. I wear a 32B and I had to go braless and use some double sided tape but everything stayed in all night. I can't tell you how happy I was in this dress. It was quite the head turner out on the Manhattan streets.

The dress runs small and is does not have any stretch to it so you cannot squeeze into a smaller size. My advice is to order a size up from what you normally wear. I wish I had gotten this in a larger size but it wasn't available. Despite the plunging neckline, the dress fits very securely and I never felt like I was going to have a wardrobe mishap. Very comfortable to wear.

This dress fit me well like the other Herve Leger dresses I've worn. I was a bit hesitant about the sleeves at first, but they looked better than I thought. I would rent this dress again.

First time renting a Herve Leger dress and now I understand why ladies love the brand. This dress hugs all your curve and the material is very flattering.  The dress is actually a darker and more mature red than it looks on the model or in my photo but a beautiful color nonetheless. I can see the only issue with this dress is that if you're busty and you want to stay understated it's going to be impossible. I'm a 32B and even I got cleavage out of this (not complaining)!

The XS was SUPER tight--needed help zipping it--but I rented it anyway because it was the only size available last-minute. NO REGRETS--loved it! Even though it was hard to put on, the XS just accentuated my curves even better! Love this stretchy material--have worn Herves in XS, S and M and they all looked good.  You won't regret renting this dress!

This dress is super gorgeous and classic Herve, however it is VERY low cut.  If you are not comfortable showing cleavage or don't have a trustworthy plunging bra, do not rent this.  There is some room for a normal bra underneath, but the bandages of the dress cut right through the center of each boob, making an awkward line through the chest area.  I didn't wear a bra and instead used fashion tape to hold the dress in place.  I loved it, but if you are on the chestier side, be warned that this isn't the easiest dress to pull off and requires a lot of fussing. The top was also a little stretched out, so I went with the small.  The length was perfect, not too short but could be pulled down to just above the knee. 

LOVE this dress!! It definitely made me feel like a bombshell!! It is very skin-tight but that works to smooth everything out. I ended up not wearing spanx because the dress did a good enough job. (Just a warning I did try the spanx on underneath and you could see the line where the spanx ended.) I did have to wear a bra because without it the girls just looked a little weird lol. My bra peeked through a little bit so I'd suggest a plunging bra. I also taped my chest area to prevent anything from slipping out. If you rent this dress be prepared to look sexy and show a lot of cleavage!! I wore it to vegas for a club night with my guy but that's probably the only place I'd feel comfortable wearing it, as it is very sexy! 

This dress was everything I hoped and dreamed it would be - fitted, sexy and definitely a show stopper. This dress is not for the modest, a conventional bra is out of the question because the neckline is cut so low, so I took the advice of the other ladies and used tape instead and it worked like a charm. I am definitely "curvier" on the bottom (hips and butt) but did not feel self conscious in this dress, not even for a minute. Reserve this dress now!! You won't regret it! 

So this was my original choice for a wedding, but upon arrival I rushed out to the store to get an appropriate bra. It still showed because this dress is very low cut. It didn't look appropriate, so I wore it to the after-party. I was pulling up the top the entire time, and you can still see my bra in the photo. This would be a great dress in the fall, but it was too heavy a fabric for summer. The temperature dropped before the after party, so I mainly wore it for warmth. I did receive compliments, especially because it shows what God gave you, but I did feel exposed and uncomfortable with the exposure from the neckline.  I would not rent again, but maybe another Hervé. 

Fit great, the top was VERY low, hard to keep everything from spilling out, but definitely a scene grabber!  I think I was certainly the best dressed at my reunion, you judge by the photo of me with my classmates.

Definitely should have gotten the XS. This size small was very big on top and seemed to have been stretched out a bit. Couldn't wear a bra with it due to the deepness of the v in the front. Overall I still loved the dress and got many compliments on it all night long! 

I was supposed to get the small in this dress too but it was damaged. The medium fit me well thankfully! I needed a little fashion tape for the chest area and the shoulders were a bit baggy on me but was able to make it work. Everyone loved the dress on me which felt good. :) Love RTR!

Dress was very flattering. Only issue is the neckline was super loose, probably from many many wears. But other than that it was stunning, fit in the right places. This is my second rent of a Herve dress, and it was Exactly what I wanted! 

I was so excited to try this dress, I wish I would have read how low the front is! Definitely NOT for the large busted woman unless ultra cleavage is something you're comfortable with.
I ordered a small and medium, then switched the S to a large but regretted it in the end because I'm sure the small would have worked.
The M was significantly stretched which is not easy to do in a Herve. So much so that the L actually fit more snug? 
It looked amazing on! Hugged all the right curves, simply just not the right fit.
And next time I'll watch what time of the month I rent to avoid the belly pooch!
Overall, great dress, ultra low, but simply the wrong size.

Pro: Great fit Con: finding a bra the worked with how low cut the dress was! I had to adjust my bra all night so it wouldn't show. However, I did get a lot of compliments on the dress.

The dress is beautiful and really well constructed. The color stands out.  The dress was lower cut than I expected, and though it still looked great I probably would have been more comfortable being able to wear a bra.  That being said, I would definitely rent it again. 

Wore for out for a girls night at a casino  I'm in love with herve dresses they make you look flawless!! 
Wore the xs which was tight but tight in all the right ways!!! Length is short but nothing to be worried about (I'm 5'6)
Cons: just like everyone else said it's so low cut in the front I wore a bra and kept peeking out but managed

I love the dress! It fitted very nice, only this is my boobs are a little big and I wish I would have gotten a bigger size because of that so it could fit more comfortably. Other than that its a lovely dress and I would recommend it. Thanks RTR. 

Very sexy number. Much heavier than I expected, and the back was either stretched out or cut much too large. My boyfriend (now fiancé) liked it-- might've had something to do with the cleavage. Super tight, so i unfortunately suggest you either spanx it or watch what you eat. 

I am just renting this dress you mentioned, VPL, I hate VPL, what type of panties (if any) did you wear with this and what type didnt work. This is for my husbands b-day so I want to look perfect. 

Like most Herve Leger dresses this one turned heads! I wore the S, though the XS probably would have been a better fit if I had someone to help me zip it. It is very low cut, but I was still able to wear a bra, my only complaint is that I made the mistake of wearing a thong under it, despite the fact it was seamless the thong was quite apparent. Serious VPL! Word to the wise, watch your choice of undergarments ladies! Overall I loved the dress! 

I wore this dress for a silent auction charity event. Awesome color, great Herve Leger fit. Just be aware that the cut is super, super low, so if low necklines bother you, you'll be trying to pull it up all night. Other than that- the color is head turning and definitely makes a statement!
