Loved the assymetrical cut and the fit is great.

This was my first time using RTR and I was a little worried that I wouldn't fit in this dress as there was only a medium available. It was stretchy in places it needed to be. The only thing I was a little annoyed about was that it kept riding up. Being in Vegas, it wasn't too bad but every so often I had to pull it down.  I would rent it again though. 

LOVED this dress. very flattering fit, perfect length for someone who is 5'4". the dress fit true to size and is fitted enough that you don't have to wear a bra. hoping to rent this again in another color 

The thick stretchy fabric hid a lot of extra pounds I had put on over the holidays.  I had to wear spanx to smooth out my bulges and flatten my stomach.  The dress mad me look a lot smaller than other outfits in my closet.  The dress tended to wrinkle in the back due to the fact it was riding up in the back.  I had to pull it down a lot to smooth out the back.  I still LOVED wearing the dress.  The asymmetric hemline, and cut out around the shoulders made this a WOW dress.  I received a lot of compliment during the evening.  A fun dress to dance in as it is stretchy and forgiving.  

I didn't end up wearing this dress, but I loved how it fit. Very forgiving, and short but not too short. Definitely recommend.

The dress is stretchy and comfortable. I probably would have worn spanx, just to keep it all in, but otherwise, I loved everything about this dress!

This dress was perfect! The material hugged every curve and the hem in front added a cute twist. The cut of the top makes it hard to wear a good bra so I paired it with the jean jacket. Loved it!

This dress was initially not my first choice... I had rented a different dress that neither size I tried fit so, in a panic, I called RTR the day before the wedding and they promised to have this one at my door by noon the day of. I loved this dress so much and wish I didn't have to return it! I'm so glad that the first dress didn't work out because I felt so amazing all night in this one. 

The medium was the only size that was available (I'm usually a small) so I really took a leap of faith and it was perfect! I was nervous because I have bigger hips and butt and most tight fitting dresses are too tight and ride up, which it did a bit, but the dress was long enough on me that I wasn't giving everyone a show. I imagine that someone with less booty wouldn't have this problem. The dress is tight so I did wear spanx to keep from looking bloated from eating and drinking. The front "slit" and neckline was the perfect amount of detail for this LBD.  

I paired the dress with a necklace and stud earrings that I also rented, and nude heels. 

Wore this dress for a nice date with my husband. Loved the cut and the feel. Very tricky with undergarment! Perfect little black dress!

Dress is very form fitting, but flattering. I wore spanx underneath to be safe and keep everything smooth.  This was for a September wedding outside of LA which was toasty, but the dress was nice and breathable plus perfect for dancing! I highly recommend it as this was one of my favorite RTR dresses to date.

Pardon the weird dancefloor pic — you get the idea :) Super bodycon. Material is nice and thick — didn't need a bra. Pretty short where the point comes up in front. Fun to wear. Probably wouldn't rent again, but enjoyed it.

I adored this dress and also rented the necklace from the picture.  Felt super classy and ready to take on anything.  Was also comfy for going to the theatre and sitting for an extended period of time!  Love it!

So flattering! Be careful if you're tall as it does ride up!

This was a perfect LBD for a Cali springtime wedding! It fit like a glove and I am very lucky it did, because no backup sizes were available. The ONLY issue was that it kept riding up all night and I was constantly pulling it down.. it was worth it though. This was my 3rd time with RTR and I was more than pleased all three times. 

The fit was great. The material was stretchy and thick, making it extremely flattering. I'm 5'10 and was surprised how long the dress still was. I was expecting it to be shorter, but it was perfect! 

This dress was comfy and flattering. Def needs a necklace though. I rented the same necklace as pictured on the model

Love the hem and neck lines. Good go-to standard  dress if you want a LBD.  Didn't stand out but I wore it with fun shoes and it worked! 

I rented this dress along with another, but this one was more form fitting and the perfect length for my height. It was also extremely comfortable.

As usual I was between sizes ;) I ordered the M & L, M was a lil snug but felt good, L was just too long and a little bit baggier in the waist (though it fit my chest and hips a little better). Fabric was great though, moves with the body and I didn't have to worry about wrinkles. Short enough to be sexy but not so short that I felt restricted. Would 100% wear again.

This dress was perfect for my athletic frame. The cut complimented my shape and the fabric is thick and stretchy. Very flattering and forgiving and so much fun! 

Loved this dress so much! Fit exactly how I wanted it to! Super cute and comfy for having to walk all around the city all night! I rented the necklace to go with it but didn't end up wearing it due to me looking like Betty Rubble! But I loved the necklace too, wish I could of worn it!

I wore this dress for a bachelorette party in NYC- This dress fits very snug and it extremely flattering because the material is thick. I love the high neckline and fun slit at the very bottom. It shows off your legs and pulls in at your waist. I would wear for a night out! 

The fit is true to size, with a great cut that was flattering to my figure. I loved how it accentuated my shoulders and arms. The length is mid-thigh. A sophisticated and sexy look!

This dress fit perfectly. It wasn't too tight and was a great length.  The material was very forgiving and it would be great for any occasion. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat! I loved it!

This dress was great for my Valentine's day night out in NYC. It fit very well and a nice material that was really flattering. I felt very comfortable in this dress. The only con I had about the dress was that it rode up a lot during the night and I was constantly pulling it down. I highly recommend pairing this necklace from RTR with it. I saw another review on this dress who paired it and I liked it. When I put the two together literally looked perfect with it. Its called the Willow & Slate Hayden Necklace. 

I liked this dress and it fit well.  It was also in really good shape.  It was appropriate for the occasion and is more interesting than the basic lbd.      

I was in between a M and L. Would recommend spanx if you have fuller hips. It was loose on the top near my shoulders and tight on the bottom. Not my favorite dress I've ever worn, but the edgy cuts of the dress made it worth trying out. I wore this to a work cocktail party.  I'll order again, but next time won't play it so safe.

This dress fit like a glove. It was fitted but still comfortable to wear all night. One thing to note is that the cut makes it tough to wear anything but a strapless bra. I have numerous convertible bras and none of them would work. If you are small-busted, you would get away with not wearing a bra at all.

Loved this dress.  The cut made it more interesting than your basic LBD.    The small would have worked, but the medium was more comfortable and not as short.  As other reviewers have said, definitely need the statement necklace. I paired the dress with a Willow and slate necklace from the site.

I could not have been happier with this dress.  I've rented several dresses from Rent the Runway and this is by far my favorite dress so far.  The fit was absolutely perfect and it was just stunning.  I've never had the desire to rent a dress a second time, but I would rent this one again in a heartbeat.  Highly recommend!

The two sizes both fit really well, but the small was slightly too short in the front for sitting/dancing. Would definitely recommend this dress!

Love the fit and shape of the dress. It was true to size. Hugged me perfectly without that tight, uncomfortable feeling. The wedding was in the summer and outside. The material was just right; not too light or heavy. The style and shape was unique and amazing! Love looking back at photos in this dress!

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party and it was perfect! So easy to wear and comfortable. The neckline was very flattering and while it required a strapless bra I didn't mind. All it needed was a sparkly necklace and I was good to go! Highly recommend for a night out that can be dressed up or down. 

I actually got this dress as a backup, but as soon as I received it I knew this would be the one I would wear.  This dress did run a bit small I thought, although I am usually right between a small and a medium. The medium fit perfectly. The length was perfect, a little sexy angle to it, but long enough to keep everything where it was supposed to be when you're dancing/walking.  I paired it with the belle fleur necklace and got compliments all night. Definitely rent this dress, you won't be disappointed.

Wore this to a daytime formal wedding.  The dress has very clean lines, so I just dressed it up by layering 2 statement necklaces.  It is very flattering and comfortable - would definitely recommend it and you cannot beat the price.
