Solange Gown

The back flap covered my problem area (saddle bags) and I felt very confident and classy. The sheer panel in the front isn't too sheer, so it leaves a little to the imagination. I had SO many people ask where I got the dress and people were taking pictures of it. It was a touch tight in the tummy, so I had to suck in, but I did choose the 2R instead of the 4R, so part of that was my fault.

I wanted to love this dress, but it just wasn't my style.

This dress was perfect for us to new our wedding vows for the 18th time. We like to get creative (all over the states and world) so this one was in the new Star Wars land..the planet Batuu. The dress was a high low. Pretty high in the front so my suggestion is if you are planning to sit at all wear something underneath. I wore black leggings and boots. Perfect for our theme. Overall very comfortable. Back is open so a strapless bra is a must. The front v shape is slightly sheer but not see through.

I got a 2L because the 2 wasn't available. Dress fit like a glove, the open back detail is gorgeous.

Dress fit true to size. The top was a little large, but I am very small chested. Fit perfect at the hips and was so pretty. Wore this for my rehearsal dinner and everyone kept saying how beautiful it was!

Absolutely loved the way this dress looked and fit. Was able to have it shipped the week before my wedding as my original dress was delayed to be here before then. So I took a chance with RTR and it arrived in about 2-3 days. My husband loved it and i got so many compliments. Might have to rent out again.

The front is very short and it's hard to move your arms but I felt truly amazing in it.

I loved this dress and had people stopping me to compliment it!! I would have felt more comfortable in an 8 but RTR was out of that size. All in all, it was great! I did a modern take on Princess Leia for this Star Wars themed Gala.

This may be the most incredible dress ive ever worn! Rented it for a charity 'white party' and recieved endless compliments! I was glad i sized down after reading reviews, as the 4 was perfect. Sadly it had a small rip in the mesh panel, so i had to ho with the size 2. It was definitely a tighter squeeze than i'd have notmally worn, but still fit great. Best of all, i didnt have to wear a bra and just went eith breast petals. Cant recommend this highly enough!

This dress was a HIT. It was a little bit small in the bust (but I am 34dd) and big in waist but very minor. Also, it's a no bra or backless bra sitch. Loved it.

This was a wonderful dress I wore a 2R so it was a little seeing as I am 5'8" but it still worked even with heels! I loved this dress! I wish I could keep it!

I got a back up in a size up but I wish I got a back up in a size down just to see if the back could be tigger as I was pretty lose. But the size 2 was a close to perfect fit.

This dress went well with the shoot I was doing. It gave off that angelic vibe I was going for. The fit was fine. It wasn't as white as I thought it was going to be. More like light cream color but it wasn't a big deal.

fits great. Length was perfect-- the front [high cut] does ride up-- be warned, but is manageable.

Happy Halloween! May the Force be with you! I wanted to be Princess Leia, but without the cheap-looking expensive costume. So I went on Rent the Runway. This was perfect as it was authentic, unique and sexy. The 4 was a bit tight, so I wore the 6. Also, having the large slit in the front made it easy to walk around it. However, I am very short so I had to wear platform boots so I would not trip over the train. This dress is actually one that Miranda Kerr wore to a red carpet.

My profile wouldn't update for body specifics. 5'4 163 lbs 34DDD Houglass body and athletically built Formal "James Bond:Casino Royale" themed event The open back and subtle mesh front is sexy yet classy. I wore this dress to my corporate Holiday Gala where I had no reservations taking pictures with our senior executives including our CEO. The compliments were over flowing and I never once worried about running into someone else with the same dress. I could have wore a size 8 but the size was not available for the dates of my event. The dress is not a true white, it is more of an ivory for those who think they'll pull out a stark white dress, not sure if this is due to multiple rentals or if this is the actual color of the dress. The material is heavy and can get a little hot but it didn't stop me from hitting the dance floor and dropping it like it's hot. Ladies I'm a 34DDD THERE IS NOT A BRA THAT I COULD PURCHASE FOR THIS DRESS, I took tips from my girl Kim Kardashian and purchased Gaffers tape and tape those babies up, worked like a charm. I didn't wear a necklace (the mesh front is enough), subtle cat eye dark lip, and would have paired with statement earrings if I didn't slack. First RTRW experience, it came early shipping, label included, and UPS already knew. Easy peasy.

I wore this dress to a design industry formal gala. The cut and the simple white color gave it a remarkably graphic feel, which was fitting. I felt stylish and sexy all night. While it ran true to size, I'm really glad I got the 4Long. The front part is seriously short. Like cover your lap with your napkin while seated kinda short. So hot, though. And the full coverage everywhere kept me warm enough, even on a 50-degree night.

I wore this on the red carpet at an event, it totally stood out! It's classy lines and fun high-low cut is sexy but subtle.

This dress was beautiful and is very different. I wish I went with the petite because the sleeves and length was a bit long on me. I was worried that the see through part on the front of the dress would show too much but it was perfect. I was unable to wear a bra so if you need support - I would not go with this dress. Overall it was great and I received tons of compliments! Thank you again RTR for making me look like I know what I am doing with this whole black tie thing :)

The fit was amazing! It is nice and roomy in the arms without it being too baggy. The dress also has a bit of weight to it. However, I have never received as many compliments in my life! Even strangers came up to me and said the dress was beautiful! It also won me the best dressed of prom 2016 award! Highly highly recommend!

I typically wear a size 2 in pants and a size 4 in dresses. I have broad shoulders and a bigger bust. The 2L fit like a glove. I truly felt glamorous in this dress! I received so many compliments on it. The arms are a bit big. I am so happy that they send you two different dress sizes, as I would not normally order a 2. I read other people's reviews and decided that I might be able to swing it. I plan to order another dress from renttherunway for my friend's upcoming Bachelorette Party. What a wonderful, easy, positive experience :)

This wound up being my back up dress but I liked it so much I opted to wear it instead of the original dress. This is a very sexy yet elegant dress. I received a ton of compliments all night. It definitely stands out as being a very unique dress. It's form fitting so I definitely advise being comfortable wearing such a dress. The material is very soft so there is some wiggle room there too. Overall, I could not recommend this dress more for a formal occasion.

Super comfortable. I had a lot of problems renting this dress. My order had been cancelled once before (the day before I needed the dress) which in turned caused me to have to reschedule photos. The second time around they did not have the size I requested so I went with a much larger size (which again I was not emailed until the night before I needed the dress). The dress was quite large on me--but if I had of had my size it would have fit better. Overall I love the dress and would certainly rent again.

Loved the dress the only problem I had was sticky boobs do not work good on me so I had to figure out a way to keep my boobs in place but other than that I loved it!

This dress fit me like a glove and I stuck out in a sea of red, black, and blue gowns. This dress is edgy, classy, and sexy all rolled into one and I got non-stop compliments on it. I was concerned about the shorter length in front, but it was fine, and I'm 5'9". I read about people needing spanx, but I opted out of that. I did not wear a bra, but I used the little sticky petals that keep them in place and it worked great all night long. I can't say enough wonderful things about this gown, I truly loved it. RENT IT!

I wore this to a ball at the art museum. It was a black and white ball and I knew that most people would be in black so I went for white ;) I was right to do this as it stood out even more than expected. This dress will get you barraged in compliments all night. It almost got annoying how many people were coming up to me haha. I was told I was best dressed and belle of the ball many times. I also wore a Victoria's Secret adhesive plunge bra and it was perfect. Classic red lip and black velvet stilettos completed the look. Give it an 11 out of 10.

Absolutely stunning with a fan. It's tight though so if you want to be comfortable this isn't for you. If you were to size up, the cup in front won't fit.

Wore this to my work holiday gala at the JW Marriott! It was perfect! Tons of compliments all night. By far my favorite rental. Also same dress Miranda Kerr wore to the Swarovski party! Although use stickies and wear a no lines underwear because you can see everything.

The pros: perfect length on my 5'2" frame with 4" heels! So unique that it stood out in a great way! The cons: the back cut out bubbled due to me not filling out the front. Like other reviewers said, lots of extra room by the underarms. I would 100% rent this again! Maybe next time I would try to use fashion tape to keep the back in place. Give it a try!

The was spot on for me. I have long legs and a shorter torso and it the long touched the ground with heels on, which is rare for me! So if your short or normal don't go long for sure! People said they couldn't wear spanx but I was able to wear the tummy taming kind with shorts just fine! Underwear would have shown through anyway. Win win. I wore petals for a bra and that was perfect. Got compliments all night! I did get asked by two random people, however, to take my photo because I reminded them of Princess Leia haha but beside that weird side note I'd rent this dress again! It was fun and I danced all night no problems!

While I can't help but calling this my Intergalactic Space Nun dress, it's very mod and it's very flattering. I'm a 32 DDD, actual 132 lbs 5'3" curvy and muscular- this dress works for this body type! ! The fabric is a very well- lined crepe and it skims and drapes like a dream. I wore a NuBra (size E)- In the second photo- you can see a bit of the outline of the NuBra due to arm positioning- I used some fashion tape on the bra to anchor down the edges to my skin , but it was otherwise unnoticeable. I wore spanx-type super thin shorts- your panties or thong WILL show. The effect was like Pippa Middleton's rump in her sister Kate's royal wedding, if I do says so myself..... I fit in the 4R, but it was too snug- the back bunched up too much on my back fat/waist. The 6R was a tiny touch roomy, but I think this is best, not a single seam strained, Draped perfectly. SUPER COMFORTABLE. The hem just touched the floor in my 4 inch heels. this is one to wear your brightest shoes! It's creamy white VS brightest white and it won't take long before it looks too worn because crepe droops after a lot of wear. This was the most talked about dress at both parties (Company winter gala and Commodore's Ball) that night, stopped a lot of people in their tracks. Everyone- Please be honest about your actual weight, so many of my rentals have been so so so tight because I chose my size based on your weight, your review and your body type. I've had 25 dresses from RTR in all, and MAYBE 4 have been perfect fits. Pretty please get on the scale that day and be accurate for us all!

I usually range from a 2 or 4 but the size 2 fit perfectly. I am 5'4 and once I put heels on with the dress it was the perfect length. Only issue I had was my sticky boobs looked awkward through the dress and you cannot wear a bra with the open back, I managed to tape them. Other than that the dress was perfect!

Sleeves were a tad short, I have very long arms though. Definitely VERY short when you sit down so beware of that, I had to cover up my lap with my coat.
