Overall, this is an absolutely gorgeous dress and the color and fabric are stunning. I got many compliments on it. It runs very large, however, and when I tried to wear it as shown in the pic I looked like I was just swimming in a purple potato sac, so I used the sash as a belt which I think helped cinch my waistline a little better to give a more flattering look on my body. It was unfortunately also too long even with 7 inch platforms and the bottom hem got dirty and mildly frayed (which I thought would be covered by the insurance that claims to cover spilled drinks, broken zippers, etc) and I was immediately charged the full amount of the dress without any notice or opportunity to dispute it, which I personally found to be unfair because I would not consider a dirty and mildly frayed hem to be "irreparably damaged."  So just a warning to of course be careful with your dresses because the "insurance" may not actually cover you if anything goes wrong! 

First of all, the sash that appears in the photo is the same color and material as the dress. This is not the case....the sash that came with the dress was black and appeared to be a replacement, almost as if Rent the Runway lost the original sash. A black sash changes the whole look of the dress (and your accessories), and was very disappointing. It also runs huge. Last, while the color states "electric blue," this is actually a bright purple gown.

I absolutely felt stunning wearing this dress! I received a million compliments and was grateful to have it! It's a no brainer...

I am very much a pear and found that this dress fit me very well. Length was perfect.  I didn't love the feel of the fabric though. Nontheless, lots of compliments.

So beautiful but so big!  I ordered it for a black tie wedding and had to pin it tighter.  The color is spectacular though!

i'm 140lbs and usually fit perfectly in a 6.  I got a 6 & 4 and it was WAY TOO BIG. Very embarrassing to have to clip my dress under the  knot.  Worried about it showing then enjoying the party.

Gorgeous color, but the dress is enormous!  First it arrived without the self sash and a black one appeared in it's place.  You definitely want the same self-tie.  The sash is tied around your waist underneath the dress and then just the loop pokes through the hole on the side.  However, the dress was about 5 inches too long, AFTER putting on 4" heels.  In addition the width at the top under the 'sleeveless' side would need to be pinned about six inches for the top to stay put. I literally could let that side fall across and under my chest on that side.  Quite a 'cross your heart' look :) Overall the quality was lacking a bit.  "A" for effort but just not there.
