The fabric was thicker than I expected -- more like a costume than off-the-rack.  In hindsight I should've expected that given the brand and high retail price.  I felt comfortable and relaxed (i.e., not self-conscious or worried about anything being out-of-place) because of the thick fabric and empire waist.  No need for spanx or any special bra.  I'm about 5'5" and I wore 3" heels. I usually wear either a 2 or a 4 (I wore the 38 and it was fine). In sum, it was easy to look and feel elegant without being worried about it.  

Pretty dress, fabric is very heavy- and looks good quality. I received a lot of compliments.
My friend took a black and white photo- I added a red belt to add some color, and also because my size wasn't available, so I had to size up. Needless to say- it was a little large on me. But- in the right size, I would wear it again.  

I took the advice of other reviewers and sized way down. I wear a 6 on average, sometimes an 8 or 10 in high fashion, but I went with the 42 (4) and it's definitely by best bet for me. I love the shape of the dress and the way the dark top minimizes my chest while still looking coyly sexy. I usually only wear my Unlimited dresses once but I'm keeping this one to wear just one more time next week!

Wore this for Mother's Day brunch. Thick material so wouldn't suggest for warmer climates but fine the day I wore. What you have to know about Italian sizing just add the two numbers and usually you get US size. I listened to reviews about it being huge (yes bigger than what RTR is stating) but had I used this trick I would have stuck to 46 since I usually wear 10 and sometimes 12. 

This dress is well made, bottom fabric is very heavy material, does not wrinkle.  The top runs low so if you are large busted, this shows a lot of cleavage.  I wore this for a trade show event, so it was too low for me there.  I did wear it out for dinner later.

The skirt starts high, and creates a great illusion of super long legs and height. However, there was no fitting near the waist, and is wide through the hip. Overall though, great with minimal jewelry and high pumps.

I may try this dress again two sizes smaller. So cute, lovely fabric but a smidge to big.

I couldn't wear it because it was huge. 
Maybe they didn't send me the right size? 
The dress is brand new and the labels, etc were still on the dress.
