I wasn’t quite sure about this dress looking at the main photos of it on the website but I took a chance due to the reviews and beautiful color. 

I’m so glad I did! It was one of the dresses used in my engagement photoshoot and was certainly a standout. 

It fit like a glove and was so flattering. The slit on the side was sexy but still on the conservative side which I appreciated. 

The only challenge was it was really hard to walk in especially up and down stairs but I don’t feel like I should remove a full star for that. 

I would rent this again. 



I rented this dress for the Bridgerton Experience. It was form fitting in all the right places. It was a little snug to pull up around my hips, but sat well once it was on. The dress was very comfortable and I had no issues moving around in it throughout the event. 

Amazing dress! Holds you in and accentuates your figure while still being so classy! Length was a couple inches shorter than I thought it would be but it didn't bother me. Loved the off the shoulder sleeves!! 

This dress fit like a glove and was the perfect thing for the formal destination wedding I attended! Highly recommend as I got compliments on it all night! 

The size 2 fits perfect! I did wear a strapless bra underneath but I just preferred more support. If your smaller up top, you definitely don't need to. The material is thick and super soft so it's comfy to wear and holds your shape. I wish I owned this dress so I'll definitely rent it again! The color is gorgeous too! 

It fit absolutely perfectly & I would say is true to size- maybe running a tiny bit on the small side. Length was perfect, I am only 5'3 and with some decent heels it fell perfectly. The only negative is the mermaid style made it difficult to go to the restroom because it had to be unzipped and I couldn't pull it up but it was worth it for the look! 

Ended up going with the size 0 because I think the dress looks best tight. I love the color!

The dress was gorgeous and I did feel beautiful in it but it fits a little snug and the arms are a bit restricting. I wore spanx underneath and it took a team of female family members to help me every time I had to use the bathroom but overall I felt super glam and got a ton of compliments. I really enjoyed this dress. 

I love the elegance of this dress. It definitely runs small and has no stretch, so order a size up. I was sent the wrong size (ordered a 4 and was sent a 14) and barely managed to squeeze into the smaller size I ordered. Still, a gorgeous color and classic style.

I rented this gown for an engagement party. Yes, it's more than a dress. It felt like a gown and everywhere I was that night heads were turning. It was a beautiful color and the length was just long enough to make a statement but not too long where I could fall and I'm 5'1. I wore simple heels that gave me good height but kept the elegance of the "gown". This is a perfect rental for semi-formal to formal events. I'm not the skinniest girl but I felt like a million dollars!!!

I'm 5'4 and 120 pounds with a size 2 normally being my go to size, however it was extremely hard to zip up around my rib cage and hard to survive a three course meal without being uncomfortable. It was the perfect length and had extra room around my stomach but the rib cage area has wires for structure that dug into me when sitting. Over it was a beautiful dress, but I wouldn't rent this style again. RTR was amazing and sent it overnight to reach me since they had originally sent the wrong size

I loved this dress. I have a very narrow figure and for some reason this dress really accentuated my body. It was a comfortable fit and very beautiful. 

This dress is a showstopper! The dress I wanted wasn't available through Unlimited when I needed it so I opted for this as an alternative. It hugs the body and shows off curves in all the right places. The color is gorgeous and my husband couldn't refrain from telling me how much he loved this color on me and that it made my booty look great! My only complaint is that the sleeves are very restrictive for dancing and I ended up taking my arms out and just wearing it as a strapless midway through the wedding so that I could really break it down. It's also difficult to lift up to use the bathroom since it's so form fitting and the waist runs a little small and was a bit tight especially after eating the delicious wedding food. Overall I would rent again but not for an event that I would be doing a lot of dancing. 

It fit so well and was super flattering. It was restrictive in the arms, but well worth it for the look. 

The fit was flattering, I'm typically a 2 so was a bit snug but was still walkable. It being off the shoulder I never felt like i was going to lose my dress. Really comfortable and super happy with my rental. Sitting was a little challenging, but only because it was a bit snug for my behind area. ;) 

This dress was beautiful. I felt so polished and pretty!!! The dress fit good overall. Zipper was getting stuck a couple places but like the other reviews you cant really move in this dress. I do not recomend for a dancing. Overall the dress was really flattering and comfortable. I never worried about showing too much cleavage. I am a size C for reference.  I had a great first experience with Rent the Runway!!

This dress was a great fit, super flattering. The sleeves made it a bit hard to move my arms, but not unmanageable, and the bust was a bit loose. This particular dress had a piece of the plastic in the bust lining breaking through the fabric which was super uncomfortable, but I'd hope they'd fix it before renting it out again.

Let me start by saying that the style and color of this dress is amazing. The real downside is the fit. I'm a 32A on top, and usually wear size 4 dresses/size 27 jeans, and the 6R dress was perfect for me in the hips/butt and MASSIVE on top in the boobs (to where the dress wouldn't even stay up). On top of that, had a quality issue with the 4R that I was shipped, but I don't know whether that one would've fit in the hips/butt anyway. Definitely size up for your backup, and if you're small on top, medium/large on bottom, this may not be the dress for you.

It fit really nice! Wore it 20 weeks pregnant and it fit my body type real nice. 

Loved loved the color, the dress was too tight in the mid section,  the fabric had some stretch and was comfortable but 1/2  a size too small

Received many compliments on the dress. It was a comfortable fit. The only con I would say is that the sleeves and bust kept slipping down. I feel like you need super sticky fabric tape to keep it in place

Loved this dress. Looking at the other reviews pics helped me make my choice. 

I rented this dress for a black-tie gala. The color was a pretty royal blue, noticeable but not obnoxiously bright. I like thicker fabrics that help hide any imperfections and this one did just that. It was thick and felt nice but my only complaint is that there was zero stretch in the fabric! This made the midsection around my rib cage extremely tight. The good news is that because of the thick fabric and the drape around the chest, you really can't tell how tight it is so I wasn't too self-conscious about it. I loved that it gave my arms a little coverage. Or, as some reviewers said, you could easily pull your arms out and let the shoulder part drape down and it just looks like a pretty strapless dress. I am not quite 5' 4" and wore 4" heels and it still brushed the ground. Anyone shorter than me might have a harder time with the length. I'd warn anyone that didn't have someone to help you with the zipper, that you literally might not be able to get it zipped alone. Very sticky as it goes over the seams in the back. Altogether I loved this dress and would recommend it to anyone! 

The dress was tight and long but still was beautiful, a little gappy in the top around my chest. 

Stunning fit. Off the shoulder flap is large enough that it stays put all night and loose enough that you can slip your arms out to dance  or take a technical break. 

Downside - that flattering fit means some movement restriction. Wouldn't recommend if you have to walk far or dance. 

I'm a true 2 and wore the 4 - size up. I would also recommend wearing the L if you're over 5'7

I fell in love with the dress the minute I saw it online. I ordered my regular size which is an 8 and it fit but it was snug. I’m so glad I ordered a 10 as a backup size! I ended up wearing the size 10. It was more comfortable for me than the size 8 would of been. This dress is snug in the mid section though so that is something to consider. It was also long. I am 5.4 in a half and I needed to hold it up or I’d trip lol. I didn’t wear very tall heels though. Overall I loved the dress and had a great experience renting from RTR for the first time. 

Rented this for a masquerade ball work christmas party. Flattering for small chested women like myself. As other reviews have said u can't lift your arms or spread your legs really so not the best dress for dancing but I did so nonetheless. U can also take your arms out of the sleeves when u want to let loose. Fit like a glove and accentuates every curve of your body. The length was just right for me with 4 inch heels. Royal blue color. Got compliments all night! A con is the underwire in the top comes out easily and can poke u. 

I should have worn a size 6 but they were out of stock at the time since this was a backup dress. It definitely was hard to bend and move around but that could have been because I was wearing the wrong size also the wiring in the top did poke my skin at times. Honestly, I liked how it looked so much I didn't mind being uncomfortable! The lighting in the photo really doesn't do it justice but it's the only full body pic I took. 

I ordered this dress for a formal at my University. I ordered a 12 and 14. 12 is my regular size and even sometimes runs a little big on me however I got the 14 as my back up instead of a 10 and I'm glad I did! The material of this dress causes it to fit a little tighter than you'd think. The fabric gets easily caught in the zipper and it took a lot of manipulation to get into the dress because of that. Overall once I put on some spanxs the dress was gorgeous and I received many compliments. I would not order this dress again due to the material of the dress and how tricky the zipper is.

The dress really is gorgeous. It's a classic, sleek look and I got lots of compliments. The color was more of a darker blue/navy shades...I was expecting a cobalt blue color. I typically wear a 4 or 6 and I'm glad I got the 6 & 8 as my back up. I ended up wearing the 6. It doesn't have any give, so if you're planning on dancing you might want to get another dress. I wore it for a fundraiser ball, so it was perfect for that. It also runs a tid bit short, but I was still able to wear about 2" heels. If you're planning on anything higher than that you might want to order the long. I would highly recommend! I only give it 4 stars because of reasons listed above.

i wore this because i was nominated for homecoming princess and this dress was perfect and true to size! it zipped really nicely and was a perfect fit! 10/10 would recommend! I got sooooo many compliments ((:

I rented this dress for my very first Marine corps ball and I absolutely LOVED IT. The 6r was tight so I had a little trouble zipping it up but to be fair this is my first time renting so I wasn't to sure about my size. It is a tight dress but I had no trouble dancing the night away. Stunning color & received many compliments. Wish I could keep it! 

This runs extremely true to size, hugs you in the right places so that you still look womanly, and is a lot easier to walk in (because of the slit in the back) than a typical gown with a mermaid bottom.  It's a little restricting in the arms but you can slip your arms out of the off-the-shoulder part to make it look like as strapless dress if that stresses you out.  It was a great choice - lots of compliments!

Loved the "weight" of the dress - substantial enough for a cold-weather event, but had enough ventilation for a balmy May night in North Carolina. My size wasn't available, so I got a couple sizes up, and the sleeves were too low (hanging at my elbows), so I just wore it as a strapless dress. I don't think anyone noticed, because I got many compliments! 
I just saw the mother of the groom (5 months later), and she said "I think your dress was the best one there. In fact, I loved it so much, I went out and bought a cocktail dress that color!" I think that speaks for itself that the mother of the groom remembered it that much! 

I got this dress for a masquerade quinceañera so very elegant. The color was beautiful as there was only one other person in blue! Lol. I ordered size 4 and backup 6 and thank goodness I did! I'm 5'7 weight 143lbs.
My hips are about 37in, wider than my waist 30in and I wore size 6 and it was very snug. I was a little afraid they both weren't going to fit. But I did like that the waist was very tight which gave me the illusion of a smaller waist and it gave my curves a nice touch. THIS DRESS WAS PERFECT! The material doesn't stretch much so there's no room to move. I still danced and had an amazing time. I got compliments left to right and it made me love my dress 10x more. I recommend this to everybody and I will be using this app for my next event. 

Ordered a 4,6, and 8. Wore the 6. It was tight all over yet a little loose in the bust even with a strapless bra underneath. I don't recommend wearing if you plan to dance. I'm 5'7" and wore 1" kitten heels to achieve the right length. 

The length was perfect.  I felt great.  I just needed 5 lbs off before this event 🤣
