Nova Dress

I received both the 2 and 4 in this dress - I wore the 2 mainly because the fit and flare style allows for more room skirt. The color isn't nearly as loud in person as it is in some of the reviewers photos - but still a fun take on the LBD. It has a heavier fabric, which was perfect for the December wedding I went to in Florida. As for my entire RTR experience - amazing! I received a box of Godiva chocolates and a note just because their email server mis-sent an email saying my backup size in this dress wasn't available (which it was!) definitely a customer for life!

The dress fit perfectly! I ordered a size 2 for backup and didn't even bother trying it on. I also didn't have to wear a bra with this dress. I would definitely rent it again.

I've rented this dress twice now - first for a formal event and second for a Cali winter wedding. It's so flattering and has a unique neck line. The blue is vibrant and the dress has a sheen to it that's nice and not over the top shimmery. I got tons of compliments and what you can't see from the front of the photo is the cutout in the upper back of the dress. I wore a strapless and was super comfortable. Highly recommend!

I got this dress as a backup and wore it instead of my first choice. The dress is comfortable and just easy to wear! I really liked the blue pattern. It's a nice, effortless staple to fall back on.

This dress was so cute and shimmery, perfect for a school gala and very flattering. I have wide swimmer shoulders and a full rear end, the full skirt of this dress accommodated this well. Normally I wear an 8 in most dresses because of my hips, but I was able to fit well in a 6 with this dress. Would've kept this dress if I could!

The material is very metallic and shiny, which the picture doesn't show. Very pretty.

The dress fit perfectly. Love the irridescent look of the fabric. It's thick so I didn't have to wear a coat on a cool LA night. I was going for a simple yet glamorous look. This dress helped me achieve it. I will be renting again for my next premiere.

I ended up wearing the 2 (didn't even try on the 0, and when I went to send it back, I noticed one of the buttons on the upper back was missing so I was glad I didn't need that one...) and it fit great in the chest/midsection. Perfect length, nice amount of shimmer for winter. Another dress I'd love to own!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! I wore a size larger than normal because the original was damages, but this was super comfortable and not too big on me. The bottom made it easy to sit and do anything pretty much as I opened Christmas presents. Pretty lightweight and catching the light well makes for an amazing photo op!

Both dresses arrived on the scheduled date. I ordered the 0 and 2 as the back-up. I ended off wearing the 0. Like some previous reviews stated the upper body area does run small but fitted my shape very well. The blue is so vibrant and shiny . It was perfect for my event and I received lots of comments on how pretty it was. Due to the shape of the neckline I decided against wearing a necklace. Black sparkly heels, blue iridescent earrings and a black clutch tied it all together. Can't wait to rent my next dress!

I loved this dress. I wore it to a holiday party and received several compliments. The fit was pretty true to size. I usually wear a 2, sometimes a 4, and the size 2 fit well. I would say if anything, it runs *slightly* big. I got the size 0 as my backup and that probably could have worked too, but it was a bit tighter and shorter than I wanted it to be. This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I was so pleased! I was nervous about ordering something that I wasn't able to try on in advance, but being able to order two sizes helped put my mind at ease. You can tell the dress is very well made and high quality. It is tailored nicely and seemed to fit in all the right places, and the fabric is nice and thick. I do not have a single complaint about this dress. I wore the dress with a gold plated Ella Carter necklace with crystal flower accents (also from Rent the Runway). Loved this too!

Fresh out of the bag, I knew that this dress was going to be beautiful on. I submitted 2 pictures to try and capture how the light plays against the fabric. It fit my frame quite nicely. It was comfortable. Easy to get in and out of it alone. I got tons of compliments both verbal and non-verbal from various strangers at the Ball. Had I not flooded my Facebook page with pics - I swear I'd rent this one again!

This dress was actually my back up but I loved it so much more that I had to wear it! Only rented a 2 and it fit perfectly! The fabric is heavier so it's great for a fall/winter wedding and the metallic color is as well. Was able to wear a regular strapless bra with no problems. Agree with other reviews that the high neckline would sometimes be uncomfortable when sitting but if I readjusted it was fine. So so pretty and got tons of compliments! Want to wear it again!

Absolutely beautiful vibrant color. Was only able to get the 0 and that was perfect. The dress has a nice satin lining. May be heavy for summer outing. Customer service at RTR is outstanding. Original dress ordered was unavailable the week of my event. This was a last minute choice and I am so happy I got this one instead!

Would definitely recommend RTR and this dress!

I rented this dress for a formal wedding bc I has a baby two months before and am not back to my normal size. This dress was fantastic! It was comfortable and beautiful! I recd sooo many compliments . The color and material make it very fancy and different. This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be renting again.

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I got tons of compliments on it all night! I ordered the 10 and the 8 and the 10 was a bit baggy in the chest area so I went with the 8. It hides any sort of stomach issues you may have and is very flattering in the arm area! I loved the necklace the model wore but I ended up finding one very similar on Amazon for cheap. It really did go perfectly!

Loved the fit -- I actually rented it twice! This dress looks great! Fit is nice, and the cut looks great on everyone.

Loved this dress but wanted the 2 and 4 and all they had was the 0 - I took a chance and because it looked fine (I couldn't breathe but beauty is pain) I wore it for the ceremony and happy hour. Once it was time to eat I actually changed into a more comfortable back up style that I didn't love as much in terms of looks. Still worth it for a few hours!

I was kind of nervous renting the dress without trying it on because dresses always fit me snug on the hips and way too loose and big on the bust, but this dress fit like a glove. It was as if the dress was made for me and it made me look even skinnier.

I ordered a size 4 and 2; I ended up wearing the 2 and it fit perfectly! The blue in the dress was a nice 'pop' and under lights, transformed from a vibrant blue to hints of purple. I highly recommend this dress!!

Rented this dress last minute for a wedding! The blue in the dress really shines and looked great with royal blue nail polish. Fits true to size, would recommend!

It fit true to size, the length was great, and I had no issues with a bra (which is sometimes a concern with irregular strapped things).

Fits true to size; only thing I'd say is that the high neck line was fine for me but be harder on different body types.

If your short waisted like me. The keyhole in the back gaps juuust a little. Also a little tight on my 36 D's. Other than that it was great:)

This dress is made for someone with a smaller upper frame and great if you have hips. I am 5'8/135lbs/34A. I should have ordered the 4, but that was my mistake. It was incredibly comfortable. Because it cuts at the waste instead of the hips, you have plenty of room to move around in. Dress is great for sitting and eating and dancing. It rose about 2 inches above the knee. I would have preferred it to be another 2 inches shorter for it to feel fun and flirty without being too sexy. Not sure how it would look on shorter women without massive heels.

I needed a dress to go to a Communion and rented a different dress. Unfortunately that dress was too tight around the hip area and the AMAZING people at RTR sent me this dress the very next day just in time for my event. This dress is gorgeous! The color is so vibrant and the fit is very comfortable. If you are someone who is small on top and bigger on the bottom, this dress is perfect. It accentuates your waist without making your bottom portion look too big. I regret not taking a picture of the back. Im a RTR fan for life!

This dress fit very well and the material has a pretty iridescent shimmer. The dress is a royal blue. I paired a belt with it and it went so well several ppl said they thought it came with the dress. Good for night time event; I was sad to send it back- I loved it!!

I actually rented another dress that didn't end up fitting and this was sent as a replacement, but I was so happy with it! It fit perfectly and looked great on. The blue color really does pop on the black and the cut is very flattering. Got compliments on it all night!

Fit is true to size. I got away really easily without wearing a bra and feeling comfortable doing so, couldn't tell at all. the material is great, overall an awesome dress for a wedding or fancy rehearsal dinner.

I wore this dress for a fundraiser holiday party with my actors networking group. I loved this dress! Looks more purple in person, but appears blue in photos. Very comfortable and flattering. I could wear a strapless bra with it. Loved the cut-out detail in the back. Highly recommended!

This dress was perfect and absolutely gorgeous. I just wish I had thought to take a better picture. I got compliments all night and was incredibly comfortable. This was my first time trying RTR, and it was a fantastic experience.

Loved this dress! Very comfortable and didn't have to wear a bra because it was so fitted at the top. Would recommend for any fun event but the fabric was a little heavy for a warm day.

My sister wore this to a wedding this summer (hence its a 2 - she usually wears a 2). It was a really pretty shiny, not tacky or flashy. Hit in a good place and looked very formal.

Dress stood out against the sea of standard LBDs. The blue was shinier than I expected, but it wasn't bad. Much different than something I'd pick out off the rack. That's the fun of RTR. I should have sized down for my second dress instead of up. It was much too big in top and I had to double pad my strapless bra to try to fill it up. That said, this is a good choice for a pear as the skirt has plenty of room for hips, just keep in mind if you are small in the bust and torso, you may want to size down. Length was just above my knees - ideal for me. Overall it was a good choice.

The dress fits tightly around the bodice but is comfortable. The skirt seems too wide on the hanger, but I pressed it and it was perfect when wearing it. It thought I would feel cold since the arms and back were bare, but the heaviness of the fabric made the dress feel warm. The color is a gorgeous, metallic blue that draws attention, but is not gaudy. The length also seemed like it would be long, but I wore 3 inch heels and it hit right above my knee, which is what I wanted. This is a perfect little dress for any occasion.
