the fabric is very thin and impossibly wrinkly. looked great when i left the house but downhill from there. shows every bead of sweat and movement through the day 

It’s effortless and classic. Makes me feel elevated and confident. 

I don’t know what it is about the simple wrap dress… maybe it’s the movement of the skirt part. I really felt like a princess at work. It’s so classy and posh in the simplest of ways. I also found that it’s good on wrinkling. Will definitely rent again.

Lightweight material. Perfect for summer. Wrinkled easily. Received a lot of compliments.

I loved this dress! The cross over and the halter… so flattering! 

You will need a slip underneath to wear to work. 

The top overlay doesn’t exactly lie flat but it also isn’t flat in the model picture so I assume it isn’t supposed to? It looked fine I guess. A very cute dress, comfortable and chill. 

TTS. I’m 5’7 and 133lbs. Size 6 fit Perfect!  The cross body tie is really flattering. Back split gives interest to the dress, too. 

There was nothing I didn’t love about this outfit. Easy to wear. Looked great and kept me cool. 

I would buy this dress, it’s perfect and you do need to wear a slip as it isn’t lined, but I loved the wrap around front panels. Did great in 95° southern heat as well and is a wonderful transitional piece, versatile and comfortable it breathes well! You will definitely need to iron it though, but it’s worth it!

While the top has a nice shape as a wrap, the bottom had no movement at all because of the stiff material. Not beautiful at all imo.

The details of the dress are subtle but made this simple dress look amazing.  It he cross over bodice.  The double pleated skirt in the back.  The back bodice stitching.  I received a lot of compliments. Never thought this dress would yield such a positive response. 

Pros: 
- cute style
- good color

Cons:
- wrinkly fabric, you’ll be showing up to your event wrinkled for sure. As soon as you’re out of your vehicle or standing up from any seat, bam! Wrinkled. 
- I posted one picture where the dress lays flat. I posted a second picture where if I were to crunch down for any motion, like picking my purse up, or reaching into a pocket, the middle button opens up. You might say, get a larger size, see below.
- I’m a B, couldn’t imagine wearing as a D. The ties cover the buttons opening up at the slightest movement but not the stomach. 
- I’m 5’ 4” 

I thought the “wrap” bodice would be an interesting add but it was a learn to tie and did not enhance my figure.  The fabric is  VERY WRINKLY land kind of like a sail.  The skirt flares out at the hip which was not great on my athletic shape and I fear worse on a pear shape. 

What makes this dress unique are the front accent ties across the bust and it was the eye-catching design that caught my attention.

If you compare my photo with the model, you will see that the material on the ties is either much smaller than the version of the dress advertised or my cup-size is just too much for the design since the lower hem rests across the lower third of my bust line.

Another issue with this dress is that the plackets tend to gap-open when sitting. Between the issue with the accent-ties and the plackets I did not wear this dress.

Even so, there is a lot to like about this dress if you have a smaller cup size and can make the accent-ties across the bust work. The back of the skirt has a fold-pleat in the middle which looks great from behind.

While I admire the aesthetics, I lowered my rating on this dress because the design is for a specific body-type smaller bust (A or B cup).

This dress was so flattering and such a fun design idea!! The only issue I ran into is that it is definitely a better dress standing up than sitting down...I was hiding some gaps in the buttons all day at work while seated at my desk. But I got a lot of compliments on the dress and really felt very comfortable. It had pockets, the material is unbelievably light. Just maybe wear it standing up...and avoid it if you plan on being seated in public...or use a good bit of fashion tape. 

Another sheer summer dress from RTR 🥲 fit is perfect and flattering but you’ll need a slip if wearing in a professional setting. 

Loved this chic take on a classic shirtdress. It has a unique wrap detail that you can tie in the front or back. I would say this fits true to size, but recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust. The wrap detail on the bust doesn't cover my total bust fullness, but it's just an overlay detail. Really nice off white/ lighter beige color that doesn't wash me out! I'm 5'5" and wearing a little heel. Shorter ladies I would recommend also wearing a slight heel/ platform sandal.
