I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and was worried that it may be a little too formal, but it worked out perfectly!  Paired with nude heeled sandals and a red lip.  I only ordered this in a 6, but probably could have worn the 4, because the material did stretch out very quickly around my waist and became baggy after about 2 hours.

This dress was PERFECT for the bachelorette party I attended. The size 2 fit like a glove, true to size. The material has a bit of a stretch which makes it comfortable and moves with you without being skin tight. I was worried about the sleeves being tight or restricting, but that was not a problem at all. I got tons of compliments and free drinks ;) Class and style, yet sexy. 

The dresses were actually mislabeled as the size 4 was looser than the size 6.  I wore the "4" which fit really well. I am only 5" and was concerned that it would be too long but it wasn't.  The dress was beautiful and I felt appropriately dressed. Would definitely rent again from RTR. 


I hosted my sister's Bachelorette Party and loved partying it up in this dress! It was super comfortable to dance and move around it - and it had the perfect amount of sparkle! The length was appropriate too - it was short, but long enough for me to not feel like I would flash anyone! The dress is a little more structured than most "party" dresses with not a whole lot of give, but it fit great and was perfect for the occasion!

I'm obsessed with this dress. I work for the Nashville Film Festival, and rented this dress for our Opening Night Red Carpet & Party. I needed something that was sexy and glamorous, but still professional and comfortable. The dress was extremely comfortable and the fabric was soft and just the right amount of stretchy. I'm 5'9'' and dresses tend to be really short on me, but this one was the perfect length. I got compliments all night. It was classic, but still had enough glamour to stand out from the typical LBD. Would definitely rent this again.

I rented a 2 and a 4 - I am a normal size 2 and the 2 fit perfectly. The dress arrived looking brand new and was extremely comfortable to wear! I would HIGHLY recommend this dress for a classy but fun night out! I have a large bust for my body frame and this dress fit perfectly in that area :-)

This dress stepped up the "basic black dress night" for the bachelorette party I went to in D.C. The sparkle shoulders on this dress had my shimmying all night long! I am 6 feet tall and was very cautious when ordering my first RTR dress because of how short most dresses are. This dress was the perfect length! I ended up wearing the 6 because the 4 was a bit restricting on my arm movement (and you can't have that on the dance floor!) I can't wait to rent again! 

I ordered this dress for a semi formal dinner.  The 4 hung better on me and didn't cling as much.  I got a lot of compliments on this dress.  Very comfortable.  I will definitely be ordering again.

I LOVED this dress and wanted to buy it by the end of the night. The fabric was just stretchy enough and the sleeves were comfortable and not restricting at all. I'm fairly tall and I was worried about it feeling too short but it was the perfect length! 

Being short I was concerned about the length, it hit a few inches above my knee which was perfect. The dress is quite fitted and I rarely [if ever] wear fitted pcs so to help my comfort level I wore Spanx tights and they were the perfect remedy. I was very comfortable all evening. Also, the sequined sleeves didn't scratch or bother me at all. The dress arrived in great shape and I was pleased that the picture on RTR.com matched what I rcvd in the parcel. This was my first experience with RTR and I'll definitely be returning!!! 

The dress was very figure flattering and extremely comfortable. I was concerned that the sleeves would be a bit itchy, but they were fine. The shimmer is more silver than gold, but overall very nice. I wore it with strappy black heels and cute earnings and clutch and was good to go! I'm 5'0" tall and the 0 hit me right above the knee. I expected it to be too long, but nope!

Both sizes fit, but I went with the 6.  I received a ton of complements and spread the RTR love.  Easy is the best way to describe this dress as it was a simple black dress with a little embellishment that was comfortable to wear.

This dress felt true to size for me, the style is classy and I loved the sequin detail on the cap sleeves. Would recommend this dress for anyone looking for a LBD, it is comfortable and you don't need any special under garments.

I'm a busty size 6 (sometimes 8) and this dress fit me like a dream. I wore it to my best friend's engagement party and felt so beautiful and comfortable all night. I barely had to wear any jewelry because the shoulder detail is really so festive and sparkly. The dress is a tweak on the classic LBD and I absolutely loved wearing it. It was my first experience with RTR and I am a happy client!!

Wore this dress to a formal fall wedding.  Great fit and very comfy.  Material has good stretch - a bit clingy, but the thicker fabric still made if flattering.  Would definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this to a Rehearsal Dinner & got several compliments.  It is a simple black dress, but the sleeve detail made it interesting.  I am 19 weeks pregnant, so needed something with stretch and this dress was perfect!  

I wore the dress for Halloween and it fit well, never lost its shape, and the sequin cap sleeves made the dress a fun take on the LBD.  I don't have anything negative to say about it.

The dress was wonderful, it fit to the curve of your body. It was a bit deceiving but the cap sleeve was silver, not gold. The dress was a wonderful length, not to short but it wasn't to long. Lots of compliments. I loved the dress. I can't wait to buy it!

I originally rented this dress for a wedding since it seemed easy to wear and adorable.  Then I realized I could wear it for a bachelorette party that same weekend as the hostesses asked us to wear black.  It was perfect for both events!  Though it seems like it could be a basic black dress, the sleeves really made the dress pop.  It was perfectly fitted and so comfortable - I felt like I could live in the dress!  Got compliments all weekend

This knit dress was extremely comfortable and did not wrinkle during the drive to the wedding. The fit was just about perfect for me, usually a size 4. I am 5'5" tall and 118; the dress hit just above the knee. The sequinned sleeves were a beautiful touch to keep the dress eye-catching while still retaining understated elegance. Another RTR hit!


This dress was very comfortable and flattering. My measurements are different than stated above because I'm 23 weeks pregnant, but the size 10 fit well and accentuated the bump just enough!

This was a great party dress! It wasn't too short on my 5'10 frame which was nice. There was a small hole in the left side seam but RTR can whip that up and it will be as good as new.  Will definitely use this service again!

I normally wear a size 8 and may have fit better, but wasn't available.  The 6 fit just fine mostly because the quality of the dress was so great.  I did notice near the end of the night that it was rising up a little but nothing out of control.  I tried it on with spanx first and ended up taking them off because it didn't make much of a difference.  Would definitely rent this again and would recommend it for anyone with any frame.

This dress fit pretty true to size. I have 36ddd chest, so I'm always concerned about having enough fit in the bust. Fantastic material with some stretch made it a comfortable dress, it fit like a glove. I initially rented it to wear to dinner out in vegas with my girlfriends, but I ended up wearing it out all night dancing too. Great length, great fit, just enough detail to make the LBD stand out. Would love to keep this one in my closet.

I loved this dress, and would probably rent it again.  I normally wear a 4, but the 6 fit really well and was very comfortable, so I went with that.  I knew we would be dancing and out late for a bachelorette party, and this dress was perfect.  If anything, it was a little formal for the places we ended up going, but I still loved it.

I hosted a pop up gallery this March and wanted something stylish without being too much. I didn't want anyone to feel over or under dressed, so this black dress was perfect. The sleeves were just what I needed to keep it fun without being over the top. It fit great and I got tons of compliments so I spent an hour shopping erin fetherston's site but have yet to purchase something for my closet. 

This dress exceeded my expectations. My first choice dress for this event was unavailable, but I was not disappointed one bit with the dress I ended up wearing. It was really beautiful, sexy, and tasteful. The material stretches and is SO comfortable. You can't see it in the photos, since the dress is black, but there are subtle seams in the dress that really flatter your figure. My ideal size would have been an 8, but it was unavailable. (My fault! I ordered last minute). So I ordered the 6 and the 10. They both fit! I would have been fine with either. I decided to wear the 6 because I wanted a sexier look. The 6 was a little shorter and definitely hugged my body much more. 

I finally understand why RTR has such awesome reviews! I am waiting for my graduation dress to arrive from RTR and am so excited. I recommend!!

I wore this dress out for my bachelorette and it was perfect! I was worried about the dress being tight and uncomfortable, but it wasn't at all. It fit really well and the embellished cap sleeves were a perfect touch. I felt dressed but not overdone. All around great choice!

In more ways then one was this dress the perfect fit: The size 0 was true to size and the material is made of very good quality (similar to most of Erin Fetherston dresses). This dress is very versatile, it can be worn for many different occasions. I chose it for a special date night to impress my beau and it was quite a hit, with him and many others at the restaurant (Lots of compliments!). This was definitely one dress that I did not want to return, which makes me positive there will be a round 2!  

Wore this dress for a NYE wedding and loved it. I ordered a 4 and a 6, and went with the 6. Sequins were all in tact and it was comfortable for a whole day of wedding activities from 3pm - after Midnight.

This dress was fabulous.  It was very comfortable and true to size.  It definitely gave the little black dress some extra detail.  If you are shorter, it might hit you a little longer than what you would think.  I'm 5'9 and it hit me about 6 inches above the knee which was a good, appropriate length for a wedding. So if you're wanting a super short dress, this wouldn't be your dress.  It's very flattering and I would rent it again. 

I wore this dress to the American Advertising Awards dinner. I accompanied my fiancé to the annual dinner for the first time, so I was looking for something classy and semi-professional. I wanted something dressy and fun to wear but I didn't want it to be "too much," as I wasn't quite sure what everyone else would be wearing. This dress was perfect. The length is a touch longer than I was expecting but very flattering. I ended up wearing the 0 instead of the 2 because it fit a little better through the waist and torso. I think I got away with wearing the 0 because I have small shoulders/chest. The sequin sleeves where the perfect touch of glamor. Since its March in the Pacific Northwest, I wore the dress with tights, ankle boots and a leather jacket. I would definite rent this dress again. 

This dress was perfect for a postpartum 40 year old!  Very slimming and comfortable to wear.  The arms weren't tight and I have bigger arms.  It is pretty conservative, but looked and felt great!

I rented this dress to wear to my husband's work holiday party. It was the perfect style: holiday-esque thanks to the sequins, sexy bc it was fitted, classy bc it was on the longer side and the neckline was high. I was sad to send it back. I ordered the 0 and 2, and wore the 0 and it fit me perfectly. I would definetly order your true size and the size down.

This dress was so comfortable to move in/wear!! It was a simple black dress with some sparkle :) was great for a charity event at a country club. The dress was a little loose in the upper chest/shoulders but not enough to want to get the next size down for me. I had movability. Received lots of compliments and would rent again for a holiday event or Party. It was warm but not heavy. 

I wanted something simple that had a fun detail and would be easy to dance and move in. I'm normally a 4 and it fit great everywhere but the shoulders. I'm by no means a big shouldered girl but when I lifted my arms above my head the entire dress pulled up and it was tight. 

The size up was just as flattering and no issues in the shoulders. Loved this dress and was sad to send it back. 

Had an issue with not being able to get my back up size, so RTR sent me two similar dresses in that size. Ended up going with my primary dress shown here and it was absolutely perfect. Super comfy, yet fun and I received so many comments about the dress! Will definitely rent again! 

This dress was perfect for my fancy dinner out for my 30th! Stood out from the crowd while still looking effortless. 

I wore this dress for my friend's bachelorette party.  It was beyond perfect.  After having had TWO kids, it felt great to be complimented by numerous people throughout the night.  This dress made the "new me" look my best! :)

This was fantastic for my Big's bachelorette party in San Diego the night we went to a club downtown. All of us ladies wore an LBD and she wore white. This had just the right amount of sparkle to elevate the dress for a club/event but not take away from the bride/guest of honor. I thought this was a good choice to be a bit more conservative because of the cut, but still be appropriate for a fun night out. I ordered both a 2 and 4, but the 4 seemed to be a tad bit too loose at the time to where it looked "too" big, so I ultimately went with the 2 because it fit closer but not too close to be uncomfortable and tight in the midsection. My only gripe with this dress is the sleeves because when you do a pose (or a movement) as I have done in the picture I included, it bunches up a bit and seems unnatural. I remember being worried that I was going to rip the seams of the sleeves because of how they were sewn. Luckily, I do not believe I ripped any seams. Maybe it was made for women with smaller shoulders? Overall, I would recommend this dress and I was not disappointed with my first RTR purchase.

Loved this dress! Very flattering, not too tight but fit in all the right places. The length was perfect too. I'm tall and some dresses have been shorter on me than others but this dress was perfect. Super comfortable, too!

I wore this to a regional nursing award that was "cocktail" attire.  Given the event, I definitely went a little more conservative than I normally would have.  It was the perfect fit, extremely comfortable and super cute! I had comments on the dress and fit all night.  The sequin sleeves were perfect to add a little pizzazz to a LBD.  The sleeves were a little saggy-er in person, but it photographed well unless you were up close to it (see second photo)

Runs large. I wear a 4/6 and I was swimming in the 4. Glad I read the reviews and ordered a size down. I wore this to my friend's bachelorette party in NYC. Was perfect. Would definitely recommend. Sequined cap sleeves were perfect.

This dress was perfect for a semi-formal winter wedding. The sequin details on the sleeves were the perfect touch to elevate this LBD. Material was thicker, which was great for January, and I paired with a pair of black tights and booties so the longer dress length that others noted was not a problem. Great, great dress for the price. Would rent again! 

One shoulder of the dress I wore was slightly torn inside but you couldn't tell from the outside and it didn't affect the feel of the dress.  

It fit snug in all the right places while sliming my problem areas (tummy). I love the sparkles on the sleeve - just a bit of glam without being over the top.
