Sized up because I have large hips and booty. 

I didn’t love the color of the sequins in person, especially when the dress for me floor length (I’m 5ft). For someone much taller, the designs might look better as a true midi. Additionally the straps were rather long and would have needed pinning back and the back zipper did not have a clasp. Ultimately I decided to wear another option. 

First, this dress was beautiful and SO much more sparkly in person! The one star I took off was because the straps were too long and they’re not adjustable, which some other reviewers mentioned as well. I probably could have pinned them in the back but decided to just deal with it since I was only wearing it for a few hours. Other than that, fantastic dress and worked great for my event.

absolutely loved it! The fit was gorgeous, and the design was stunning. The sequin and embroidery details were even more beautiful in person, adding the perfect touch of elegance. The only small issue was that the straps were a bit too long for me, so I had to pin them in, but it was an easy fix. Overall, the dress was breathtaking, and I felt amazing wearing it!

I would have preferred the size M but only L was available and it worked! Straps way to big so I pinned them to be shorter. 

Fit great and pretty comfortable! A little scratchy from all the sequins but definitely a fun one. Straps were very long on me and zipper kept falling down so I Had to pin all 3, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Also there's a decent bit of stretch it it so I'm glad I got the XS

Loved this dress and got a lot of compliments. Wore silver patent leather heels with it to compliment the sparkle and it was huge hit. 

The dress is beautiful, with gorges colors but the straps are too long or stretched out so couldn’t wear.

As the other comments say, the straps are large but I pinned them. There's a bit of stretch to the dress which is nice. Perfect for a wedding! Got lots of compliments.

Straps were a little long, definitely recommend pinning or dress tape to keep them from falling down. Otherwise super comfortable and a great fit! 

So comfortable for a hot outdoor wedding and I got so many compliments from the bride and other guests. Straps were slightly long and the length of the dress fit longer on me than it probably should because of my height, but it still looked great. Overall, a really nice option for a summer wedding.

This dress is so cute! Straps are a little loose if you don’t have a big bust! But still super cute!

Such a fun dress. Straps are long so overall bodice sits lower. Some give throughout but still structured and form sitting. 

This dress was such a joy. I got so many compliments from other guests at the wedding we attended. The dress fit well, with a few notes that I think would help the next renter. 
1- the straps are LONG. I had to have a pin “cross back” them to keep the ladies up, because I didn’t have a bra that worked well with it. Once we had the straps adjusted I felt it was good to go. 2- it’s a bit hard to sit and move around in and I have tiny scraches on my arms and legs from the sequins, nothing major but something I noticed. 3- the zipper does not stay up. It needs a zipper clasp or something to keep it up. I kept fumbling to zip it back up all night. 
All in all, I’d rent this dress again despite those minor flaws.

Received so many compliments. The beading in person is so sparkly and the fit was super comfortable. I also fit in the size small however, the zipper would pop when I sat down. 

I got so many compliments on this dress - was definitely one of the best of the night! Only issue i had was that the straps kept falling down and the top kept rolling down so my sticky bra would show. I tried taping up the straps with fashion tape but those fell when I started sweating on the dance floor lol. Otherwise it fit snug on my body but was also comfortable.

Loved this dress but definitely size up. Hips were tight. I have large breasts and not very large hips so it fit me fine. 

The dress is gorgeous from a design and sparkle standpoint, but it’s not very fitted around the waist and the dress ends up looking very heavy and matronly in person. The dress definitely photographs better than it looks in real life, but I think this is because it doesn’t have much movement. I didn’t end up wearing it out.

This dress is AMAZING!! Visually, it’s stunning. I ordered for an NYE wedding and I was super excited when I got it because the beading is stunning. I’m not going to wear it becauseit was very fitted around the butt and thighs for me- fit like a glove but it’s just a more structured look 

Gorgeous dress with beading. Got so many compliments on my dress. I'm between an 8 and 10 but closer to a 10. The zipper kept unzipping and was a bit big on my chest. It photographs so well too. Rent it 

This dress was beautiful and I felt very nice and glowy all night. However, it bunches and doesn't actually snatch your waist/body. I ended up wearing the XS and it still bunched up. 

The sequins are way more beautiful than a still picture can convey—the lighter ones have this incredible iridescent shift that changes as you move. Absolutely gorgeous!

I'm glad I got a medium in this one; I think it fit very well, or at least correctly/as intended. It's not the stiffest dress in the world, but it only has the tiniest little bit of stretch, if any. It's also bra friendly, which is nice. However, I just don't think the cut is for my body type. It's tightest on my hips/butt, which I expected. But my waist is kind of lost, and my bust has definitely looked better. I actually had serious space in the top, which is NOT a usual occurrence for me! This dress is not BAD, but I think it would look better on a straighter or more top heavy body type.

I used safety pins to tack down the straps in the back, which worked great. Otherwise the fit was perfect and it was comfortable to wear. 

First of all this is a STUNNING dress. The colors and pattern are so beautiful and make for a total compliment magnet. That said, I would not rent again because this dress was just too high maintenance for me.

As other reviewers have said, the straps are very long and require taping short to fit. There is no stretch to the material and the sequins are itchy, especially around the legs where the dress is unlined. I'm all hips, no chest and usually wear either a 4 or 6 and found the small a bit too tight around the hips (mostly handled with a snug pair of Spanx) and a bit too loose in the chest (solved with a padded bra). Overall I think I looked great but I didn't *feel* great. 

Bottom line, if you can tolerate some mild discomfort in the name of looking absolutely fabulous - rent this dress. If you value comfort above all, you may want to pass. 

I got this as a backup and ended up wearing it as the main dress for a wedding! I will agree with others that the straps are not adjustable and could have been a tad tighter but overall I didn’t have an issue with them. The detail in person on this dress is stunning and in true RTR form I got compliments all night!

This was my first rental and I really enjoyed wearing this dress! I had originally thought I might wear the M, but I ordered the S as a back-up, and it was a good thing I did, because the M was way too big. The S was a tiny bit loose on my chest, which meant that the lining fabric rolled over a little bit at times, which annoyed me, but wasn't a big deal. I also had to pin the straps a few inches at the back, but I had planned for that. It was a tiny bit tight on the lower half, but I am curvy on the bottom. It fit well overall, though. I didn't know a lot of people at the wedding, but a ton of strangers gave me glowing compliments! I didn't personally have issues with my arms scraping on the sequins, but it was a little bit uncomfortable sitting on the sequins, just on the lower part of the dress that doesn't have lining underneath. It wasn't painful or anything, just a little uncomfortable. It was totally worth it, though! Gorgeous dress. I felt sad returning it.

This is cute and it works but it’s not the vibe I was going for. Fits well, good material but didn’t end up using 

The pictures really don’t do this dress justice, it is so pretty in person!! I chose a M and L, both fit but the L was a little more comfortable for sitting/dancing. Unfortunately, the L is a lot longer than the medium and it hit me at the ankle instead of mid calf (I’m 5’ 3”). Also, the sequins are a little itchy/irritating under the arms and around the legs where there isn’t lining. As the other reviews said, the straps are long so I pinned them down inside the back of the dress but it did cause the top of the back to lay in a weird way. Definitely had a few flaws but overall I was happy with the dress!

Beautiful gown, I felt like a princess and received many compliments. The straps are long, but I just dealt with it. 
The slit is sexy but not too revealing. 

First of all, the detailing on this dress is gorgeous. Super flattering fit. Compliments all night. Seriously one of my favorite rents! Felt beautiful in this and it was so comfortable which is always a plus! If you’re on the fence, just rent it!

Shimmery and elegant dress. Heavier because of all the beading. A little itchy with the beads but really pretty for a one night wear. Good length for my height

I rented this for a wedding that had a "Sparkle" theme. As others have mentioned, this is prettier in person. I feel like it looks kind of chaotic in photos, but in person, the light off the sequins vary it up. I got many compliments. 
I will say, this dress was uncomfortable for me to wear...the sequins rubbed on my arms, and the slip underneath is pretty short, so there isn't a layer between your legs and the sequins when you sit. (Maybe that's a tall girl problem, the slip might fall lower if you're shorter? The slip ends at the slit)

Size/fit comments: I ordered Small and Medium, and ended up wearing the Medium. My usual size is 4-6, and I'd say the Medium was more 4-6, and the Small was in the 2-4 range. I am 5'10" and did not have any issues with the straps falling down (I've seen a few other reviews that mentioned this). 

I knocked a star off for comfort, but I got a ton of compliments, and sometimes beauty is pain lol.
