OBSESSED with this dress. It fit like a glove, and was SO flattering. I got SO many compliments. A complete stranger stopped me and said that dress was meant for me. I wish I would've known they were discontinuing it, I would've bought it. The turtle neck wasn't restricting at all which I was very nervous about, I did wear spanx to keep everything in, but seriously I cannot express how much I loved this dress. My favorite rental to date. 

I am normally a 0-2 but the 4 barely fit and I had to stand with perfect posture and suck in the whole night, so not super comfortable. Minus that, it was stunning and I got a lot of compliments!

Loved the color and fit! Not too tight, not too loose. Was a tad too long on me but I'm short so that's normally the case.

I loved wearing this dress. The material was stretchy and very comfortable. It was eloquent but also sexy enough for a company holiday party.  

The quality of this dress is top notch! I rented both a 4 and 6. Where I have an athletic shape The 4 just didn't fit my back so I had to go with the 6. So the 6 was just a bit big everywhere else. I still got tons of complements this dress was beautiful, I ended up wearing it twice!! 

Gorgeous dress, thick material, and perfect for a very petite girl! I chose the 0, and because I'm quite petite it worked well for me! Haven't stopped receiving compliments, think I might just buy this one :) 

I wore this to a November wedding in Chicago and it was perfect and surprisingly warm.  I loved the color and flattering cut! I'm usually between sizes 0 and 2, but I wore the 2 and it still fit a bit snug. Thankfully the material was thick and the zippers were super sturdy. My only complaint was that I had to wear heels with it because of the length. I'm not sure if it runs a bit long or if that's just because of my height (I'm 5' 1/2"), but the longer length worked out great in the cold weather. I would 100% rent this dress again! 

This dress was very small, I should have went with the 6 but it wasn't available so I tried my luck and could not fit it over my hips.

Luckily my SIL had the same problem with her dress she chose except it was for her shoulders so we swapped! This is my sister in law in the photo. 

The dress is so unique and beautiful. However the zipper at the back does NOT have a clasp, and unless you wear this dress very loose it will fall down all night. Luckily a couple of tricks with some safety pins kept it up. 

In general the dress is tight from head to toe, it's not great for dancing but it looks amazing both sitting and standing and is SO classy. It would be better suited for a work event or something where dancing is out of the question anyway.

Dress fit perfectly. It was tight fitting but had the perfect amount of stretch for sitting and bending. It was a little tight to walk in but the slit in the back made it work. The slit was starting to show some wear and tear but I was probably the only one who noticed. I was able to wear a strapless bra with no issues and overall loved this dress. 

That's great was perfect for a work event – just the right amount of sexy while still being incredibly classy and simple.

Cute dress - no complaints - it is very long and a nice plum color... cute cuts at the top- love it and it makes you look long and lean

Loved the color and cut; only issue is that it's rather tight and smaller than typical 0s plus it has slippery zippers without a clasp on top so I end up having to re-zip the back up from time to time as it would slip by a little bit every so often

Otherwise, it's a really beautiful dress

I wore this to a work Christmas party. It was the perfect mix of classy, with just enough sexy. The color is gorgeous and it is full lined and thick, so it was perfect for a winter event. I am a B cup and didn't need to wear a bra with this. I can imagine that women with shorter torsos might have trouble with the cut of the top of it- it cuts down rather sharply and could get side-booby. Although I'm short (5'1.5") so the dress was long on me, I don't think it looked bad. The skirt is narrow- I was still able to dance, but definitely no doing lunges in this one. Great for an hourglass figure, and true to size. The fabric has some stretch, and I ordered one size up just in case based on other's reviews, but the 2 fit perfectly. 

Very tight. De-emphasized the chest.  Felt sexy in this one. Would rent again, even though mine arrived with a small stain.

The zipper for the neck is hard to zip up alone.

I loved the dress! I would wear again. You need spanx for sure this dress shows every imperfection. The fit is great shows your body but is very classes. You will need someone to zip you in! I love love loved the look. 

I am typically a 2 but usually fit into the 0 backup size... not in this instance! I'm 5'7 about 125... the 2 was snug but didn't feel like I couldn't breathe. Didn't create much room for dancing because it was long and tight if you're renting it for a wedding. It was hard to size up (the neck is a zipper as well) by yourself.

Dress was pretty, color is more purple than the photograph.  The 2 fit better but the zipper was broken.  The 4 was fine but I had to keep pulling it up throughout the night, back seam was showing wear.

Both sizes fit great, but went with the smaller one for a more snug fit. Color was beautiful and the length was perfect for a girl of my height. 

Lots of compliments throughout the night. Dress runs true to size. I wore "sticky boobs" because you can't really wear a bra. Dress was very comfortable and I was able to dance the night away. Looks very form fitting without being constricting. The color and length keep the dress from being too sexy for a formal event. 

So the lighting at this wedding was pink, so excuse the color of the photo. The dress is a deeper purple than the RTR model photos but very lovely. It's a thicker dress so for me, great but if you run hot you may be a little warm in the mid section. Admittedly, I could've worn the 2 as it fit my bust better but it was larger in my hips & waist than I (or my husband ha!) like. The zero was perfect! A little snug on my top (I'm 32DDD) yet fitted and sexy and not like I was stuffed into it! It's definitely a wiggle dress so don't expect to be taking long steps or running in it :) I'd own this in a heartbeat. 

The dress ran true to size for me.  I've rented Elizabeth & James dresses before and always had to size up, but not this time.  The fabric is thick and very forgiving. I'm tall so the length was perfect for me.  I did not have any issues with the collar zipper sliding down.  The top hook was missing above the longer zipper on the dress I wore so I did have to check every now and then to make sure the back zipper didn't slide down.  That's the only reason I'm giving this dress four stars.  Otherwise I would totally rent this again!

Fits like a glove! Seriously my favorite rental to date. There's a little stretch which made it extremely flattering. I needed help with the top zipper, but loved everything about this dress!

Fit like a glove , in a good way!!!! So comfy, so flattering, I'm pretty short 5'2 120 lbs with an athletic build and oh my LAWD this dress was incredible! It came down to my mid shin for length. 

I usually wear a 0 in dresses. I wore a 2 and it fit perfectly. 

I love this dress and would love to give it 5 stars but the zipper does not stay up!! I constantly had to re-zip the back of my dress. If this had a latch I would give this 5 stars. The cut, the color, the material everything is gorgeous. Be prepared to constantly have to ask your date to zip up your dress though. 

Definitely fits small.  The back up size allowed me to move and breathe easier than the 0.  I also did not have any problems with the zipper staying up behind the neck.  I recommend wearing without a strapless bra and opt for the jelly cups from victoria secret (or something similar), you'll have a better fit and won't have to worry about making sure your bra isn't showing in the back.  Great Dress!

This was my first RTR dress. The dress fit perfectly and was very comfortable sitting, standing and dancing. It's form fitting without being too restricting. I'm 5'5 125# and I wore the size 4. The only problem I had with it is that the hem is coming undone in front and sometimes you could see it. The top zipper would also catch and not zip properly. Hadn't it have been for those two things I would've given it 5 stars! 

I wore this dress to my fiancé's graduation and loved it! I'm squatting a little in this picture, it's not as long as it looks on me in the photo. Like other reviews mentioned, it is TIGHT. Like walking-up-stairs-is-a-challenge restrictive (on me at least). But it's really a beautiful dress, great color, overall I loved it.

This dress fit like a GLOVE- in a really good way. I got both sizes (2 and 4) but ended up going with the size 2. I will admit you have to keep it tight but it was an amazing dress. Also, it's a bit more dark purple than in picture. I would def recommend to wear 

This is a nice dress. It runs really small. I am usually a 4 or 6. I read the reviews and ordered a 6 and an 8. Even the 8 was tight-over the bust and hips. RTR overnighted me a bigger size. I requested a 10 but they didn't have one. They sent a 12 which actually fit pretty well over the bust and hips. It was slightly big in the waist but I wore it anyway. It's nice thick fabric. I wore pasties. The zipper doesn't stay all the way up. 
I got a lot of compliments. The color was great and the dress is high quality. The sizing is crazy though. I ordered a backup style in a 4 and that fit perfectly. 


Stunning, fitted dress. Was a perfect dress for my charity event, but the zipper in the back of the dress would not stay up. There is no hook and loop closure to keep it up, we had to use a safety pin.

Expect to go bra less and wear shaping or very minimal under garments.

I received compliments all night long and I am so GLAD I went with this dress. It's both elegant and sultry, which I think was a nice combination. I initially went with the size 4 but true to the comments, it runs small and I'm glad I had the size 6 as a backup. The stretch was very forgiving.

The amount of people who commented on this dress - the style, the color, the fit - was unreal. Perfect choice. 

I originally was going to wear the Forrest Jumpsuit but because it was returned without the belts, RTR fantastic customer service team sent me this dress as a backup. I'm glad they did because I loved it so much I wore it instead! Other reviewers are right - it does run small. But it IS a tight look to begin with, so I think this dress is best for events where extreme movement is not necessary. I loved how it looked and even though my venue got double booked with another party, I still felt like a kween <3

I would definitely order  a size larger as a back up, I usually wear a 6 but the 8 fit great. Very flattering! Nice dress

Fit well. Had just the right amount of stretch. The deep eggplant color was beautiful. A very classy dress - great for a wedding!
