This was a great dress, seemed a little short for me with the heels so I opted not to wear to the event I was attending and used another rented gown. The top fit very nicely and loved the color. 


I have never gotten so many compliments in my life! This dress was super comfortable to wear around and dance in for a winter wedding in Colorado. I would highly recommend this dress to the shorter girls, 5’1 (ish) because it wasn’t too long with some heels! 

The dress was beautiful! Slightly heavy and fitted but not too tight fabric. I didn’t have to wear a bra, which was amazing. Super comfortable and loved this rental!

Dress was perfect.  I went to my company awards dinner.  So many compliments. 

Show stopping gown! Super comfortable, sexy right leg slit, form fitting without being uncomfortable. I got compliments all night! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the shoulder pads, but overall it was an incredible dress. 

This dress was perfect for a black tie event. I’m usually around a 6/8 but went with the medium (8/10) because of my large bust. You could not see my bra which is a must for me. It fit perfectly and was very comfortable. Danced all night long and received compliments as soon as I walked out the door (seriously, a woman walking her dog said I looked wonderful). 

This dress was stunning and comfy. I don’t have anywhere else to wear it but I bought it because it needs to live in my closet. Red heels were the right choice.

I wore this to a black tie Christmas gala. I received an endless amount of compliments. It’s is great quality and the perfect amount of sparkle. 

I got this dress as a last minute replacement when my original rental was suddenly unavailable. I was pleasantly impressed by the fit and elegance of this dress. I’m a 10 with broad shoulders/back and the large fit perfectly. My husband wasn’t impressed by the dress on the hanger but completely changed his mind once I put it on. 
The slit is high up the thigh so be prepared for that and some of the sequins catch between the arms and the body of the dress but not a huge deal. Slightly unforgiving in the mid-section but easily corrected with the right shape wear. A perfect dress for a winter formal affair. 

I liked the long sleeves for winter event and really liked that I could wear a regular bra with this dress

This dress was great, it fit great and it was comfortable. I received lots of compliments all night! The most important factor was I felt confident in the dress, I wore shapewear and that made  it perfect for me. I was worried about the length, it looks short in some of the others who have rented photos but the one I received was perfect. 

Loved this dress! Wore it to a holiday work party. Such a great fit, with plenty of wiggle room, and received compliments all night. Almost didn’t want to return it!

The dress fit like a glove! It was the perfect dress for the Christmas party we attended. 

I hadn’t even walked into the venue when a stranger stopped me to compliment the dress and that pretty much summed up the response all evening.

The ombré design is stunning - I felt so elegant. There’s just enough stretch which made this comfortable to wear and the sleeves actually went to my wrists which can be hard for me to find.

Two tips: 

Try it on with your exact bra - I had to make a last minute switch and it didn’t lay the same.

The slit is HIGH! It might not work for all table/seating arrangements depending on where you’re wearing it and I kept my stride a little on the small side so I didn’t flash too much leg at my work event.

I was sad to put this away - felt like a million bucks in this!

This dress is a little short if you are much taller than 5’3” with heels, but it was really fun. Lots of complements. I ordered two sizes and went with the Medium, the chest / shoulder area fit better. 

Usually wear a small but was more comfortable in the medium.   Worked perfect!


I loved this dress.  I got so many compliments—it was definitely one of the most fabulous dresses at a formal gala.  Pros: shoulder pads added drama!!, the leg slit was tasteful, i could wear a regular bra. Not quite a con, but if you have a little extra cushion in h the belly area, shape wear is necessary.  But that’s more like my problem than the dress’ lol lol …beautiful dress, and I’m happy i went with it!

This was a showstopper! I wore an XL and it was snug. This dress does have some stretch. It is warm, especially if you wear it with pantyhose like I did. I wore heels but I could have worn flats if I wanted to. 

I was told I looked stunning all night. It was one of the best dresses at the gala. I felt gorgeous even though my shapewear failed me lol. My skin is super sensitive and I was completely comfortable. 

I loved this formal gown so much I emailed RTR and asked if I could buy it. Sadly the answer was no! The small fit like a glove. I’m 5’3” 109 lb and wore 3” block heels. Marvelous dress! The complements were constant and I felt gorgeous in it. 

This dress is beautiful…however the one that I received was ready to be retired. I’d had a lot of loose strings and my arm kept getting stuck on the side of the dress. I think this dress has been rented many, many times. That being said, I got a lot of compliments and thought it was comfortable. The arms were a little snug and I think I have “regular” arms so keep that in mind. 

Great fit - perfect for gala event at Lincoln Center

Received many compliments. It’s the perfect length for a smaller heel and I’m 5’2. 

The fit was great & was very comfortable to wear.  I received a ton of compliments! My dress size is usually an 8, 10 if the bust runs small. The large was perfect. This was my first time renting and I can’t believe how easy the whole process was.  I will definitely do it again 

It was really comfortable and a great dress for dancing. Fabric is stretchy and I wore a regular bra underneath.

This dress is a standout! The materials is nice and thick, which meant I was warm enough at an October wedding without a jacket or shawl, and it wasn’t too clingy. That said, I’m 5’6”, 125lbs, small bust, and the Small *just* fit. It was a tiny bit more snug around the middle than I expected, but it was otherwise perfect in the arms and shoulders. But definitely size up rather than down for your second size. Also be aware that the leg slit is designed to be open all the time, not just when you walk, and it’s cut pretty high up. Given the season, I wished I had some sheer black nylons to try with it, rather than plain nude. But all in all it’s a fabulous dress for a black tie wedding, gala, NYE, and I highly recommend!

This dress wasn’t actually my first choice, I rented two options, and I was blown away when this one arrived. The other dress didn’t have the same level of quality or structure, but this sequin gown was beautifully made, substantial, and hugged in all the right places. I got so many compliments when I wore it!

For me, I did need a little support underneath (the midsection can show a bit without shapewear), but from behind it looked incredible. Overall, 10/10, elegant, flattering, and feels expensive. If you’re worried about the belly area, just plan your undergarments accordingly and you’ll feel amazing. Highly recommend!

I wore this dress for a Don Giovanni night at the Met Opera. From getting out of a cab (no walking blocks or subway in this glamour!) through the venue, to a drink at nearby restaurants, this dress made heads turn and has gotten me a million compliments from men and women from their 20's to over 70's (many)! It feels very flattering, comfortable to walk/sit, and dance. More than one said it is The Dress at the opera, and it was a full house. The slit seems high, but it is rather elegant and classy even when you sit. The craftsmanship is superb, easy to zip up on your own, no falling glitters (!). It is for all seasons but summer, like end of September in NYC; no need for anything over. For my height, this was a perfect size, only occasionally hitting the floor, so great even for ballet flats. In also had it in small, and would have been fine as well, but chose medium for a better fabric fall. Will absolutely rent it again. You won't regret it either.

I wore the XL and it fit like a glove. Maybe a little tight around my lower stomach but it was kind of stretchy and didn’t feel constrictive. It’s a little heavy so could be nice for a chillier evening event. 

Fit perfect! Easy to move around in with the slot, was iffy on the sparkle hombre look but got so many compliments!

I can’t even count the compliments!  The best part was the comfort.  This dress is very dance floor friendly.

I loved the shoulder pads and the subtle glam this dress gives with the sequins all over. My thighs are a little thicker, so dress and the slit were stretched in my thigh area. Overall, the dress was still very comfortable and had a great weight to it, making it feel expensive without drawing attention away from the bride.

I got so many compliments throughout the night. It fit like a glove. The only issue I had was that I’m 5’7 so the dress only came to my ankles vs to my feet/ground.

This dress fit like a glove and was ideal for a black and gold black tie affair. I did find the length just a bit shorter than I’d like, but the slit made walking very easy and, if you keep pulling it down, it hits the top of your shoe. Lol. I received more compliments than I could count! Wish I could find more just like this in different colors! Spectacular.

This dress was perfect for a black tie formal wedding! It fit true to size and looked even better in person. I was torn between this and another option, but I’m so glad I went with the sequins — by the end of the night, a bartender actually came up to tell me that she and her friends thought it was one of the best looks of the evening! It was comfortable, glamorous, and absolutely made for dancing the night away. Highly recommend!
