I wanted a gold dress & it was less “gold” and more like a metallic silver. However, it worked for what I wanted to achieve and I got tons of compliments! 

This dress was perfect for a gala. It was very flattering and true to size. So many compliments! Ended up wearing the size 6.

Great dress for a Vegas dinner. Fit like a glove but the length made it sexy and not too flashy. I would rent again.

This dress was so much fun! It fit perfectly and was easy to zip up by myself. The slit wasn’t too high, which I had been worried about. It was a little warm to wear, but otherwise it was very fun!

Fits true to size (has stretch). Dip in the back is very pretty. Has shoulder pads and slit to high thigh. I like the silver and gold combo. Does somewhat hug and highlight lumps and bumps. Great for NYE.

So I ordered this for a sun themed party and it arrived silver. So I wore it as an alien. 👽 halfway through the day I moved the sequins and realized it’s gold one direction and silver the other. It’s a lot of work but hopefully that helps if you need it silver/gold. Either way, fun dress.

I wore this to chaperone prom at the high school where I teach. I was a little concerned that the slit was too high (it seems higher in person than it appears in the photo), but because it was covered on top, it was occasion-appropriate. It has an open back but I was able to wear a regular bra with it. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, 27" waist and 36" hips (mostly booty), and the Small fit perfectly. Sequins are both silver and gold, so I could have gone with silver or gold shoes, but the black looked good as well. Dress is heavier-weight so a little warm but not too bad, even for an indoor event in May in the Bay Area. Really loved this rental!

I wore this dress to a wedding and it’s a show stopper. It has a bit of stretch so did well on my shape. It was comfortable and fun. I didn’t worry about the sequins snagging or laying flat. It has some weight and would be hot in warm weather. 

Very well made dress, it's thick and heavy so not the best option to pack with me to Mexico, but I needed something flashy for a special birthday dinner. It hugs curves in just the right ways, and because it has some thickness, I didn't have to wear shapeware under it which was nice. Slit did run high on me but was fine for the occassion. Considered buying!! Tons of compliments

I felt like a walking trophy. I ordered the larger size and wore a shaper and the slit was still high. It had great weight to it and had good stretch; I danced all night. You have to keep the sequence smoothed in the same direction but it was much easier to maintain that than the pink version of this dress from RTR.

This had such rave reviews but I didn’t feel good in this. It is WOW very metallic but I have an hourglass shape and the waist felt boxy and loose and the shoulder pads made me feel big. If i owned it I wouldve taken shoulder pads out. I also wished I had a small to try although Im usually an 8/medium. Im only 5’5”, maybe it would make more sense on someone more tall (although slit would be very high). If was also hard to get sequins looking right and in right direction.

The small was too tight and the medium was perfect. This dress was so comfortable to dance in and move around with. Dress the Population does not disappoint with sequins dresses. I loved the quality of the dress and it did not feel heavy at all. It was the best choice to bring in the New Year. I was ecstatic that I did not need to wear a bra. 

Similar to other reviews, this is a cold weather or max AC kind of dress as it has a lining. You can wear a normal bra. The sequins wont ever be perfectly flat, but you can do a bit, but you just have to go with it with a full sequin dress like this. Loved it, perfect for a holiday formal affair!  

The dress was a hit.  I got a XXL but it was still snug.  I loved how it accentuated my figure. 

Great fit, I ended up wearing something else, but this was a close second. 

Holiday party at work, compliments ALL night. This dress was the life of the party! Loved the fit, great for hourglass shape. Higher neckline with lower back (but easy to wear a normal bra), medium-high slit = perfect amount of sexy without being over done. Small is perfect for someone with a small frame - I carry my weight in my curves. Would definitely rent again. 

Could have possibly went a size smaller, I’m an 8/10 and got the Large, fit really well!

I rented this dress in the pink color, but the gold one was a million times better. There’s a blackish undertone to the sequins that makes it look so classy. I wore it to a 1920’s gala and it was great for the theme and fit like a glove. You will not regret renting this dress

Gorgeous, glamorous, dance worthy. Sparkle and shine!  I’m going to rent the silver version of this dress, at some point.  It is not lightweight, but it is flattering. 

I've rented this dress in 2 colors now because it's my absolute favorite!! Fits like a glove! The sequins are so sparkly and pretty! 

I wore this dress to a wedding in Philadelphia and I got lots of compliments! It was comfortable but my only complaint would be that it’s not very giving in the waistline and I felt it hugged in the wrong areas (tummy) unfortunately shape wear didn’t help much in my postpartum situation either :( wearing size medium and normally a 6!

Super high gorgeous quality dress. A little on the heavy side, so would not recommend for a hot event, but perfect for a cool/winter party!
