Other reviews note that this dress runs small, especially up top. I am not a busty person and normally look for clothes with that description, but the material in this dress makes the buttons gape open. I recommend sizing up one or two sizes if you want it to lay flat.   The fabric also curls a bunch so it could probably use a good ironing before wearing

Loved this dress so much. Excellent quality. The fit was perfect, very flattering and hit in all the right places. At first I thought it was going to be a lot of denim, but with the sleeves rolled up and some cute shoes it's really perfect. Love that is has pockets and a slight flare to it (almost like a little twirl dress but not as girly). Would definitely rent again! 

This dress is so cute! It's great mid-weight chambray fabric. The waist hit a bit above my natural waist which for me wasn't a huge deal. I sized up and the buttons still wouldn't button over my chest (34DD) but I wore a cami under it and left it open. The arms were slightly small too. I would recommend going one to two sizes up. 

I am usually 4 but ordered size 6 since other reviews said it was tight around the chest. I am glad I did. The dress was comfortable to wear and although it was very big around the waist, wearing the belt fixed it.

This denim dress is cute and lightweight. It does run a little small (even with my small chest) so I'd recommend sizing up. 

This was a little tight in the chest but I am 5 months pregnant so with my normal bust size I think this will fit fine. I just put a tank underneath so I could wear more buttons undone. The waist does sit a little higher as some have mentioned but I really like the style and I bought the dress. 

It was a comfortable dress, easy outfit. However the length hit me at the knee and it came across a little more "dowdy" than anticipated.  

This dress is perfect for work! Super cute and comfy and very easy to style. You're going to want to size up one size in this one. I found the 8 fit like a 6 all around. I also was happy with the amount of room in the chest. I am a fairly busty girl and didn't have any issues with gaping around the buttons. 

I'm between a 10 and a 12 and this is a true 12; however I went 12 to make sure it was long enough. Hits at true waist and was a bit short, made my legs look even longer. Loved it

The top was far too small, but the rest of the dress fit and looked great! Too bad the buttons looked like they were about to pop off. Would probably look great on someone with a smaller chest. 

The silhouette was very fit and flare. I enjoyed it.  It's knee length on me, but the full skirt and lightweight fabric kind of made it feel like a shorter skirt. I guess because it lets in a nice healthy breeze around the knees.

Really great casual summer work dress. Wrinkled a little, you may need to iron it right out of the bag. Cute with wedges.

Loved this dress! I wore it to work with black leggings and boots. I received compliments and felt comfortable. I will be renting this one again.

it's so cute!! but the bust is pretty small. I had to wear a tank and then keep the top few buttons undone. Other than that, i would buy it for myself!

Had to wear the top unbuttoned. The material was very thick as well. Not sure I'll rent this one again but it worked out well for a casual work day

If you have a bigger chest/shoulders like me I recommend sizing up!

This dress fit well but was a little heavy for summer.

Thanks to the ladies who reviewed this before me.  I sized up and it fit great!  Lol, this was my first RTR and I didn't realize the belt was in a little bag in the mesh pocket... so I wore it without first time and still very cute!  I am a shorty and the length felt a tiny bit short for me (definitely wear cheaters underneath, hello Windy City!) but very doable for a casual work environment or out for brunch with friends.

Ordered a large since I have another Draper James dress in this size at home. Couldn't get buttons closed on my 38Es so no go for me. 

I enjoyed wearing this dress bouncing around for the weekend.  The top was definitely tight around the bust making the buttons pull.  I addressed this with a camisole underneath and wore the top unbuttoned.  The arms fit great and the feel was very comfortable once I made the top adjustment.

The bust runs slightly small. The dress is very easy to wear. You can dress us up or down with shoes easily 

Comfortable fabric with a nice weight but not too warm for summer. Fit was ok when belted but ran a little large in the waist. Overall cute and comfy for biz casual environment 

The dress isn't nearly as fitted as it looks in this pictures but it was still wearable. I had an issue with the material and shape of the skirt though. It kept blowing up from even the slightest breeze, I had to keep holding it down all day 

This was very small across the bust and didn't work

This dress was so cute but I wish I'd have sized up based on how tight the chest area was. Still managed to get a couple of wears from it but not without appropriate undergarments in case the button came undone. 

Nice dress but like other reviewers mentioned it is very tight in the chest, I was unable to wear without the buttons opening but a size bigger would have been too much dress. The material is thicker than it looks in the picture and flairs out at the skirt. Could possibly wear with a tank underneath or for someone with a smaller chest. 

Upper half too small - wasn't able to wear. If you are bigger in the chest / arms order a size up.

The dress was too small in the torso and chest. I couldn't button the top of the dress and wore a cami under. Normally, I comfortably wear a size 8 but I would recommend a size or two larger. 

Great material and cute cut but wasn't able to wear because it didn't button over my chest. 

I sized up per the recommendations, but could not even manage to button the top half of the dress. I am a large C/small D cup. Very disappointed. The fabric was not as buttery as I would have hoped either.

Awkward boxy fit i was not expecting from a shirt dress.  I did not wear.

I love Draper James and usually find it pretty true to size but this is definitely tight in the busy, size up.

There is nothing special about this dress. It runs small. Based on reviews, I sized up 2 sizes to a size 10. It was a little roomy in the bust/waist but not much. BUT, if you are 5'8 or taller, this dress will be too short for you - short waisted and short hem. Not flattering at all.

This didn't fit over my chest and was tight in the torso which was surprising to me. I did not end up wearing
