The fit is snug but not outrageously so - some reviews made me consider getting a small but I'm glad I went with XS. It's figure flattering but not too tight. It's plenty long enough for work (even if you have long legs). Nice professional look. I wouldn't buy though because of the construction - it's hard to get lines to match up at the seams with a pattern like plaid.

For reference, I'm 5'6" bra size 34C and 115 lbs.

Wore this dress for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Great piece to transition from fall to winter. It was made with nice thick material that kept me warm and I paired it with black tights and booties. Fit true to size - maybe even a little small, which was fine for my petite frame. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect. 

Definitely a tighter fit. I typically wear a 10/12 and this dress ran small but gives great shape. I wore a button up underneath so it would be more formal for work. Overall comfy and good for work 

I am obsessed with tartan print, and this dress does not disappoint! Great fall colors, good length for work, and super comfortable. I ended up having to size up to accommodate my chest, but it fit like a dream everywhere else. 

I'm normally an 8 in dresses but the Large fit nicely. Festive for the holidays but nothing super exciting.

Loved the textile pattern and cozy texture & large was just right for me (usually size 8) ... Would not normally do above the knee for work but felt like with the winter tights and boots I could get away with it. Solid rental.

Great dress for work! I usually wear a 2-4 and a size small, and I went with a medium on this, and I am so happy I did! I recommend sizing up! Especially because I wore this to work and didn't want it to be too tight.   

This dress is so cute, and in the end I was pretty happy with it. HOWEVER it has major fit/sizing issues.  I am usually a size 4 and almost always wear a small.  The midsection of the size small barely even fit over my body.  What's more, the midsection was ridiculously small, but the back and arms were TTS, possibly even on the bigger size.  This lead to my main problem when I sized up to the medium.  The body of the medium fit great, but the back and arms were huge.  It made it so I couldn't wear a jacket or cardigan that had very fitted sleeves.   It still looked good enough that I wore it though.   And I did receive many compliments.  

I really enjoyed having this dress for the month of November, especially while plaids had their comeback! It was a great piece for work and was perfect for the dressier business casual receptions. The colors of the plaid made it so easier to mix and match shoes, blazers, cardigans, and jewelry. It was also great with or without tights. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it ran pretty small. I normally wear a medium/size 6, but this one stayed pretty tight even after wearing it all day. Luckily, a blazer helped to hide all of my curves since my office is a tad conservative. 

Comfortable, forgiving, but professional
