I’m a size 0 in everything and I was surprised I could even fit into the 2! Runs very small, I would size up. My 10 year old literally fit into the 0 and she is 90 lbs. :) 
Got so many compliments. I recommend thick black tights if you’re taller like me because the dress is so short. Very comfy & could dance all night! One of my favorite RTR!

I really liked this dress! Fit was small as others have reviewed. The black lining of the sz 0 fell below the lace, has probably been stretched from people pulling it down, so I wore the 2 which fit fine. I'm short 5'0", so shorter length was fine for me. The reason I'm giving a 4 is b/c there is no hook/eye closure at top of zipper so it kept coming unzipped!! I had to safety pin it. If I'd worn my hair up, this would have been a deal breaker. Not sure if dress is supposed to have hook/eye and has just been ripped off over time, but neither dress had one. 

I love this dress - i rented the white one for engagement photos. It runs small, i am usually a 2 and the 4 was a comfortable fit. It is SUPER SHORT!!! Too short at times, i would recommend this dress to petite ladies. Otherwise size up. The dress did have signs of wear, the lace around the neck does not lay like it should, but as you can see, still stunning in photos. 

I rented this for a dress to impress event in Boston. The dress is very short and tight. Usually I am more comfortable in a form fitting dress but this one flattened my chest out. I was nervous about it being itchy because of the lace and it really wasn't. I liked how I looked in pictures with this dress, but I can't say I was comfortable the entire night. Definitely order a size up if you pick this dress!

I ordered the 8 & wore the 12. There was not a size 10 available or I would have worn that.  Fabric not forgiving in stomach area & the dress is pretty short. I did wear a regular bra with it.

Super cute and flirty but fancy. It's snug without a lot of give, so if you're deciding between two sizes, Defs go up. 

This dress was so gorgeous!  It was very comfortable to wear, and although it fit a little snug at the beginning, it stretched out a bit throughout the night (without getting saggy).  I didn't have any trouble with the lace being itchy on the arms, and I wish I could have kept this dress!  As many reviewers noted, it is very short.  

This dress was gorgeous. I got compliments on it all night long. It does run small so would recommend ordering up a size. I normally wear a 0 or 00 but the size 2 fit perfectly.   It was perfect for an evening wedding. 

Def true to size. I wore a size 0 petite and it fit perfectly. Beautiful glimmering lace detail.  I'm about 5'2 so the length was great as well. 

This dress is a perfect balance of sexy and classy. I got a ton of compliments. I'm 5'5 and 150 lbs and wore a size 12. The dress is pretty short but I was still comfortable, even dancing all evening.

I really wanted to love this dress, but it was so short it was almost uncomfortable! Admittedly I'm somewhat tall (5' 7"), but whew, this was approaching indecent if I shifted from straight upright which was a bit of a bummer at a new years eve event. Should have worn black tights with it! The lace sleeves were also somewhat stiff, so it limited mobility a bit.
However, to the good--the fabric was beautiful! Definitely a darker gold than expected, but very pretty nonetheless. The modest neckline was nice as a comparison to some of the other NYE dresses out there. I got loads of compliments about the dress, so a unique dress for the right event! 

Fun and stunning! This dress is very short! If you have awesome legs - show them off with this dress. It is stretchy and comfy. I danced all night in this dress and everyone loved it. 

I loved this dress, but I wouldn't rent it again. Though I ended up wearing it, it was way too short for my taste. It was comfortable but I probably should have gone up a size. 

The dress is stunning but way to short for a wedding or a work holiday party. I didn't end up wearing it.

I'm 5'1" and the length was perfect for a this 54 year old. I received many compliments.  

Went with one size up as the smaller size was too tight on my midsection (no stretch). Loved the detail and especially the hem.

Fit was perfect; I am typically a 4, and I wore the 4. Not too tight, and not too loose. Fabric did not "give" a lot, so the fabric simply laid on me. Received many compliments! Only con; it is a BIT short. I am 5'2, and was taking extra precautions when sitting. Beautiful!

Fit was perfect for petite bodytype. Length is short even for me, and i'm only 5'2. Loved the dress overall because it was slightly shimmery and suitable for an evening formal event.

Although this dress is beautiful it is so short!  I was constantly pulling it down and sitting was risky!  Also, I was afraid the zipper at the bottom would come up and expose me even more!  I'm only 5'2 and wore a 4.  Can't imagine someone tall wearing this, it's look like a shirt!

Fit was form fitting with some give. There was some pilling under the arms but with sequence it is understandable pus it was a night wedding event so couldn't see. I wore with tights as I felt it was short (for me). Overall is was a good experience. 

This was the first dress that I rented form RTR, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The packaging great, and the dresses arrived in perfect condition! I'm 5'6 almost 5'7, and my weight tends to fluctuate within the 128-135 ish range. A lot of that weight is leg muscle however, so I tend to size down on dresses. After reading the reviews, I decided that I would most likely fit a size 4, and I got a size 2 as a backup. After trying both of them on, I decided to go with the size 2. Although the size 4 was a teeny (almost not noticeable) bit longer, I preferred the size 2 because it hugged my figure. The material is solid without being too thick, and it has a nice slight stretch. It was a little shorter than I'd prefer however. Wearing tights under the dress prevented wardrobe malfunctions. The dress was short enough to reveal the bottom of the darker top portion of my control top Spanx, which has never been an issue before with other dresses, so ladies, be warned, it is short. Nonetheless the lace with the gold accents was such a showstopper. I wore this to a graduation, and my did I turn heads. A couple strangers stopped to compliment me on my dress. Absolutely beautiful and eye catching. The only issue I would say that I had with this dress is the length, but hey, I'm known for scandalously short clothing :) Nothing out of the ordinary for me. 

At first I wasn’t sure if I’d like this dress, but I really came to love it. My boyfriend adored it. The gold lace has a lot of bling in person, so it’s better for a festive or formal affair (if x-short is ok). As everyone notes, this dress is really short – but if you’re petite like me (5”0’) it’s a good length. It seemed to run a bit small. My usual size 0 was sold out, but the 2 turned out to be better. Although I sized up, the sleeves and bust were a little tight (had padded bra on). The lace in the arms is comfortable (as is the whole dress) but prone to snagging, even on itself. The inside black layer is jersey. Could be worn all seasons. On the sexy side for a work event or conservative affair, but perfect for parties, fancy dates or a night on the town. I was happy with this rental, it really made my night.

I loved this dress more than I thought I would.  It's difficult to see in my photo but the gold really stands out beautifully from the black.  The length is on the shorter side, which I liked, and skims the body nicely without being too body conscious.  

This dress was very flattering, my only complaints are that the lace was staticky and would bunch up often-revealing the black slip underneath right above my knees so I was constantly pulling the lace down. 
While the 6 fit it was too short on me, so I'm glad I sized up for the backup. The size 8 fit perfectly, at 5'4 with 34Ds and a short torso the length was manageable. 

This was my first RTR dress and I couldn't be happier .. I love the dress, fits perfectly like a glove! Gorgeous dress with beautiful lace and a sexy zipper. The gold lace is delicate you can tell this dress is well made.
I got a "0" and a size "2". The 0 fit perfectly in every way. I would definitely rent this dress again. Received many compliments on it. I recommend it for winter events but not necessarily weddings.

Hugs in all the right places which is unique for a tight dress. Like other reviewers said it is quite short, even for a short girl. I don't usually wear tight dresses, but this one opened my eyes to them.

I wore it to a ballet production. It was extremely comfortable, and surprisingly the sleeves weren't itchy or tight. And it fit perfectly!
Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it was a bit shorter than I expected...and I'm 5'4.

I wore this dress for a prohibition themed holiday party and loved it! I'm usually a 4, sometimes a 6, and was hesitant because of all the reviews saying the dress ran small. It fit perfectly for me. Definitely snug, but not in a bad way. I paired it with tights because it was a work party, but I think it would have worked without for NYE etc. 

I rented this dress for a NYE wedding, and I LOVED it!! It was my first RTR experience, and it worked to great. I usually wear a 4 or a 6, depending on the dress- and ended up in the 6 in this one. The 4 was pretty tiny, but the 6 fit well. I'm short- so taller people would probably find this a little too short as it was relatively short on me. The only downside to it was that some of my jewelry got caught on the lace. Otherwise, I adored it and got lots of compliments on it.

I had some reservations about this dress, mostly because it wasn't sparkly and it was not my first choice. However, not only did it fit like a glove, but it is even more beautiful in person! It is the perfect combination of elegant and sexy. Definitely a little short but not too short. I work it to a fancy work holiday party and it was perfect.

The dress was beautiful, and the reviews I read before renting proved accurate. I've worn DVF before and have been very happy with her dresses. It's definitely short, even for my 5'1" frame. Other than the length, it was very comfortable and allowed for wearing a standard bra. I could have worn the 8, but I preferred the 10 for the extra room in the arms.

This dress was OK. I normally wear a 6, but rented a 4 and 8 since there were no 6s left. I really should have picked another dress because this was not very flattering. The 4 was too tight in the bust and shoulders, and the 8 too big in the shoulders and arms. There was a lot of fabric left so the sleeves were baggy. The most annoying thing for me was that the zipper kept sliding down the entire evening and my husband kept zipping me up. I wanted to love this dress but it just didn't work out.

This dress is gorgeous and classy. Highly recommend. However- definitely size up! I am typically a 6, maybe an 8 in some designers. I could have used the 10. 

Pros--True to size, hugged my body and it was comfortable.
Cons--It's lace, so it's prone to catching on things. Also the sleeves were a tad tight, but didn't restrict mobility.

I normally wear size 0, but definitely needed the 2 for this dress.  The 2 fit perfectly.  It was a little short for my liking.  I was planning on wearing a slip anyway, but noticed it added extra flair for the lace of the slip to show.  I would definitely rent this dress again.  Received many compliments on it. 

Dress was extremely comfortable. Perfect dress for a thanksgiving dinner or company Christmas party. Great choice for petite girls :)
