I honestly think this dress would be best for curvy women so it doesn't hang. The cut gives extra room for boobage on top, and I added a scarf belt for an extra touch. Very nice dress.

I loved this part print. Perfect for winter work travels 
I paired it with black suede boots. It runs large. There is a lot of give around the waist, so it's not as flattering as it could be.

Nice fabric and comfortable, just runs big. 

I didn't end up wearing this dress as I didn't understand the sizing and ended up with too big a size.  The sleeves were a little more billowy than expected, but would've been a fun look! 

This dress was and is adorable. I loved the ease and comfort.

It doesn't have pockets.

It is made of polyester and it was hot and by the end of the day I could smell those of the past who had worn this because polyester just breeds funk.


Based on reviews I ordered small. Waist has no stretch and it fit me exactly. Sleeves a bit too poofy but a subtle pattern and skirt that moved beautifully. Enjoyed wearing it. 

Ran large around the waste so I just belted it and worked some magic and folded and tucked the extra under the belt in the back.  Good length for work and the puff sleeves added a little something extra.

Sleeves are super puffy but fabric does not wrinkle and was very comfortable. Love the print.

I really wanted to love this dress because the pattern was so fun, but it was just a little baggy to actually look flattering. I wore once to work, but the fit just made it to homely. Overall, the size 42 did fit where it should (the arm length, the waist, and and the bust), but there was just something about how it hung on me that I didn't really like and I'm not sure that I could have fit in the next size down. 

Love the fabric, very comfortable. Hit just above my knee, but the sleeves were too short. I have very long arms and legs, so fit is a struggle. 

I chose this as a work option, and yes, it does run really large (size down one, if not two sizes), but I paired it with faux suede boots and a wide brown belt, and I love the look! it is comfortable an conservative but still fun and different from a traditional office look. Super comfortable.

Beautiful pattern. Nice material. Perfect for work. RTR says this dress is in Italian sizing but if you google size conversion charts, it says Italian size 42 = size 8 US. So that's what I ordered and am pretty happy I did.

I wish I had ordered at least one size smaller. This dress runs very big in the waist. 

Loved the style for an easy workweek dress.  Tried the 44 first and returned because it was way too big.  Ordered it again in a 42.  Fit was great all over except the waist.  Still too big.  Disappointed since it was a  nice dress with a subtle pattern.  Design would have been better if the waist had a little elastic in it for a better fit.  

would have loved to wear this at work, but found it to run 2-3 sizes large. 

I'm between a 6 and an 8 and the 6 was pretty large on me. The sleeves were also larger and baggier than I would have liked. But, the print is cuter in person and the fabric is really nice. This was a good work dress.

Lengths in arms and the dress itself were perfect. The waist was loose fitting.

I thought this was a beautiful dress, just ran big. I put a blazer over it and wore it anyway. 

This dress runs large.  I wore it anyway, because it really is the style of the dress as well.  I was comfortable all day, but I didn't feel like I was making much of a statement because it was just too big and baggy for my liking.  I like more fitted things typically.

I have been complaining about work styles fitting too slim on here lately, but this one made me feel like I’m not five pounds over my norm (I am). And not in a great way because the waist just drooped. Do not size up. If you are little little, the 38 (smallest size) will swallow you. Obviously from this label, though, the quality is lovely. 

I think the RTR sizing chart on this dress is off--I'm a solid size 8 and it suggested I order a 46; I ordered another Derek Lam dress on Unlimited and it suggested a 44 there. The 44 was definitely more accurate--this didn't look ridiculous on and I still wore it but I absolutely could have gone down a size. I would not size down too far as the zipper is only a few inches long (with a few small buttons above). 

The dress itself is beautiful and work appropriate--not too long (I'm 5'6 and it hit right at my knees). Fabric is thinner but does not wrinkle easily. 

The fabric is pretty and the style is somewhat flattering, but there is SO much fabric and the sleeves are super long. Like another reviewer, I was able to work some magic with a belt, but I never felt like I got it looking right. 

I like a high neckline dress but this just felt a bit off. Also I received this with one off the buttons on the cuff broken off - unwearable. Really did like the colors and the fabric! 

The top felt too "empty"/ boxy. Maybe it is designed for someone with larger bust..I feel that if I size down the waist will be too tight.

Really large. Especially in the waist and chest. Runs long. Cute dress but they need to make smaller sizes. 

I did not wear this.... waist is really wide. Tried a belt with it but it was only ok. The length was odd as well. It hit an once below my knee so looked off. 

The waist of this dress is much larger in proportion to the rest of it.  I had to wear it with a belt to cinch the waist, which looked fine because the skirt is pleated already.  I could not have worn it without the belt.  

This was def right for work but runs large and not for a 5'2 frame.material is very nice. It was a bit prairie style-wore it to work since I had it but will not rent it again.

It was really large and looked oversized. The print also came across as very 80's, not a modern geometric which I thought it looked like in the picture.

Too much fabric overwhelms and gives little sense of shape. Overall a blah silhouette

While the material is lovely. The top runs more fitted at the shoulders and the rest of the dress is very large. Didn't do anything to flatter my body. Also the left sleeve button was absent

Well, I think the picture says it all. I felt like a poor widow woman on the prairie, churning butter for my 18 kids.

The waist is pretty big. Maybe it would have been okay if I had sized down.
