Love this blazer for Fall! I wore this out with leather leggings and a black lace top. Awesome! I am planning on wearing this to work with my black theory wool pants. 

It was comfortable and nicely made but a little too casual for my office environment except on casual Fridays. 

Tight around the chest.  Shoulders/arms tight as well with sleeves a tad long.  Over all a hit!

Blazer keeps you warm, clearly made from high quality material, but a bit more on the casual side due to the fabric. A different way to do plaid and still look professional! Would rent again. 

Love the way Derek Lam blazers fit and feel. This is a great printed blazer for work - the print is subtle but impactful.  Wish I owned this one!  Will rent again.

Very comfortable and warm. It can be warn with a lot of different color pants because it has blue and black in it. 

So well made. This is my second Derek lam blazer to wear and in both size 8 was spot on. I wore another one, the off white with grid, and sleeves were great but this one I had to roll up because sleeves were a bit long. 

Detail is amazing - I uploaded this pic so you can see pattern better - it's maroon navy and black.  I would have kept longer than the 1.5 weeks I had it except I found it hard to keep matching after a few wears- if I owned it though I would not have to worry so much about trying to match it every couple days and wear as much as possible to get my use out of it 

Many complements, great black detail under the pockets and in the breast placket. 
Fall perfect. Must rent. I will rent again; want to have a steady Derek lam stream going.

Runs a bit large, I would go down a size. Black fabric under the pockets and lapels makes it seem a bit cheap :/

Classic black, navy, and burgundy plaid makes this jacket very versatile. Fabric weight is just heavy enough for winter without being bulky, and the added stretch in the fabric makes it super comfortable. Looks equally great dressed up for work or with dark denim skinny jeans. I absolutely LOVE this jacket and will get a lot of use out of it this season!

Fits well - fabric is soft and has a bit of stretch, making it very comfortable for a blazer. Structured enough to dress up or down, easy to wear. I will rent this one again!

Loved this! I had rented a blazer from this designer before that fit too small, so sized up on this and it was great! I wore with jeans and a nice t shirt and it was a perfect casual work look. I got lots of compliments. Will rent again!

The fit is true to size. It's soft material (albeit it was a little worn out) that feels so good and makes it easy to move when you're working. The plaid pattern is unique and fun. The sleeves were a little long but it didn't bother me too much. So many people stopped and asked me where it was from and complimented how awesome it was!

It fit beautifully. The arms were a little long but they folded to roll up nicely. Fabric is soft and movement was easy.

I live in blazers, and this one is SO good. It's a perfect muted plaid pattern that is a few steps up and away from the standard black blazer, but not so loud that it yells "PATTERN!". The construction and fit is beautiful, and the fabric has a little bit of stretch it in without losing any of the structure/tailorings. Which is great for reaching upwards or any other movement that can sometimes be restricted by a fitted blazer in wool or tweed. Loved this. Fit is a little boxy-boyfriend-y for my frame, so I'd order it in a 0 if I get it again or buy. 

I wore this to work and got so many compliments. It is so easy to wear and just looked amazing on. It is definitely true to size. This jacket is a 10! 

Great fit.  The plaid gives it a little more character than the average.  I found this worked with jeans, a navy dress and several wine colored pieces in my wardrobe.  

I rented for a workday, but wore with jeans and heels. I have a hard time finding blazers that fit
my large bust and short arms. I had to roll the sleeves but sized up from my dress size of 8-10 to a 12 .

Rented this for everyday - loved it with jeans and dressy black pants alike.  It has a nice quality, is lined.  The color combo is amazing - blue and black with amazing tones of red.

Loved the material, loved the cut!  I wore this as many times as I could before returning. It is gorgeous and perfect for fall. I am normally between 6-8 and wore the 10, it was a bit loose but looked great anyway. Would definitely rent again!

Great jacket, lots of compliments. A beautiful piece, great fit, eye catching colors, and luxurious feeling fabric. If I had not purchased a DL10C plaid jacket just last year (though, different shape and colorway...), this one would have made a permanent home in my closet.

This blazer is super cute. This is the third blazer from this brand that I have rented from RTR. Once you have been renting for a couple of months, you start to notice a pattern with sizing and designers.  Derek Lam blazers have all run the same for me.  The 8 fits perfectly. I have a little bit of a belly which made the jacket a little tight in the 6. Sleeves are a bit long for my height but you can easily roll them up once or twice and it makes the jacket look even chicer!

Blazer felt substantial without being too warm, and fit perfectly. I wore it every day I had it at home, even when it was a little too warm outside for it. 

I loved the print but the blazer ran small.

Cons:  armpits smelled like it hadn't been properly cleaned. Arms too long


I ordered an 8 which fit beautifully. I wore it with dark skinny jeans and black chelsea boots both for a mentoring event and a date. Looked tailored, sleek and sharp. I'd definitely wear this again.

I would have considered purchasing, but it was a little too worn (not a lot) for me to purchase permanently. I would consider renting again though. 

I really like the flannel material for fall, as well as the pattern. It didn't do anything for my figure. I thought Derek Lam would be more fitted and structured. Nice for layering, but probably wouldn't rent again.

I liked this blazer, mostly because the plaid pattern was a bit different than what I normally wear. It was a normal fit - not oversized but not too snug either. Definitely felt like a fall/winter/holiday style with the plaid. Fairly warm.

I'm tall and the fit was slightly short waisted for me. Had hoped to pair this with a sheath dress for work but it didn't look right. It was however really cute with jeans so I'd recommend that look. Heavy fabric, slightly bulky but the cut is good. 

Nice and fitted but comfortable! Got some good compliments on how nice it looked, wore it twice for date and dinner with girlfriends.

It's cut large enough to wear over a sweater if you want to dress this up size down. 


The pattern is cute but material is very casual and I didn't like that the fabric under the lapels is black. Also a bit snug in the waist for me. 

This jacket fits a bit small in the shoulders. It is super warm.
