Love this coat. Looks great with anything, I should say makes anything look great. I'm much smaller on top than through the hips and the 6 was a perfect fit. No problems at the bottom zipping it even though I'm larger than a 6 on bottom. Think I'll keep it a few weeks. Getting me out of my winter funk. 

When I first put this on, I wasn't sure, but it really grew on me.  I wore it almost every day of a (cold) vacation in France in mid-march.   It was very warm, versatile, and the fit/cut was pretty good to fit nicely over different sweaters or tops.  The fur collar is removable (which I discovered on day 7...lol).  It also has flaps under the corner to flip over when packing to protect the edges.  I found it runs a bit large and I could have gone down to the 4 easily but the 6 was fine.  The zipper is substantial although a tiny bit tricky to line up until you get the hang of it (it "reverses" so you can pull the zipper both directions).  Thick wool and definitely high quality which I expect from this designer.  

I love the fit of this jacket! I typically wear a size 2/4 and the size 2 was perfect, although I would recommend sizing up if you plan on wearing a lot of layers underneath! The sleeves in this jacket were a great fit as well and not too tight, but again, with lots of layers underneath may be snug. The fur detail made this feel very posh, but perfect for everyday comfort at the same time. LOVE!!

It was kind of itchy and made me look boxy but I did like the fur / got it from unlimited but wore it once and sent it back

Great stylish wool jacket!  Loved the fit; it hit just at my hips and had room to fit a sweater underneath.  Nice heavy, high-quality wool that kept me warm in New England cold weather.


This is the perfect jacket and I would buy it if I could. I ended up not taking it on my vacation, I wasn't going to have my eyes on it all the time and I couldn't lock it up so I was afraid it might get misplaced. I wanted to wear it so badly! It fits me beautifully, is very warm, perfect zipper, perfect cut and I love the touch of fur. Size up perhaps for heavier layers. Just gorgeous.

It was perfect for a winter day in Boston with a sweater bellow. I kept it for a bit longer because I just loved it so much! It made me feel so chic! I just loved it!

This was warm enough for 40 degree weather and was super comfortable.  The asymmetrical zip gave it style and the fur collar was enough to dress it up for work and not make it too basic.   

Definitely an upgrade from the standard pea coat. The collar was so luxurious (and removable!), and definitely made it seem a little more chic and edgy. Plus it was SOOOO WARM!! Unfortunately we had some unseasonably warm weather the week I had it, so I didn't wear it much :(

I loved this coat and kept it for over a month because I couldn't bear to part with it. The fur lining is so soft and beautiful while the navy blue coat was heavy enough for NYC as it turned from fall to winter. They only had the size 2 when I ordered and I normally wear a 0. If I were to buy this coat I would buy a 0 because the arms had a lot of excess space.

I just have to tell you that this coat is fantastic. I got it for an everyday option and it did not disappoint! I'm usually an 8/10 and ordered the 10 because I figured I'd have sweaters on underneath it and it was perfect. The coyote collar was super warm too- I didn't need a scarf or anything while I was wearing this coat. Do yourself a favor and rent it! xo

I loved this coat.  It's very warm and stylish.  If I wasn't going on vacation to a warm climate, I would have kept it until spring.  Collar is very soft and warm.

Great fit light weight wool jacket. Needs fur collar. Mines was delivered without one. Not heavy enough to survive winter temperatures, but super cute.

The fit ran a bit big, but if you're planning to wear a lot of layers under it, then thats fine. The arms were a bit long for me too, but I'm a pretty small person. 

This is my second Derek Lam jacket and it also runs large. I think I could have done with a size 0, but I opted for a size 2 so I could layer, which worked well. It was warm and somewhat basic, which is what I wanted. Not sure I like the fur, since it looks a bit cheaper than I'd like.

This jacket was very warm and comfortable.  I ordered the 2.  It was a little big in the width, but I think this is part of the style, probably so you can fit a big sweater underneath it.  In all it was a really cool jacket and I got lots of compliments on it.

Unfurtunately it made me look really boxy. Would recommend to small chested ladies only.
