Loved this dress! I got so many compliments on it. Other reviews said the back was really short which worried me but I just adjusted the straps and made it fall lower and it was fine for me. Loved that the dress was 2 pieces and could be worn multiple ways. I would rent this again 

This dress comes with a shirt to throw over it.  Button it up for a day/ work look and instantly transition it into date night by removing the top.  

I can't say enough good things about this set. Such a fun print and cut. The ruffled skirt was adorable and the over shirt made it appropriate for work... I wore it with skinnies during the day, and without them at night. Would love to buy this! If you're on the fence... give it a try!

I wore this 10 Crosby Derek Lam dress/button up combo for an Alabama Shakes concert, and I have to say that it was the best choice for those in-between-weather months. I was initially drawn to the beautiful paisley and subtle polka dot print, but what sold me was that this dress is a two-piece set. Here's the kicker: It never wrinkles! Light-weight, this dress hit my short frame a little above mid-thigh and was super flouncy when I walked. Can we say major plus? Only a strapless bra or our NuBra Seamless Adhesive Bra is needed. As you can see, I paired this dress with camel suede booties, our Double Dagger Earrings by Sarah Magid, our Maya Ball Cuff by Stanmore, and my own thrifted trilby hat. All of this paired with a crimson lip, and you'll be receiving compliments all night like I did! 

Fit true to size in everything but length. I have a larger booty so that doesn't help but it barely hung an inch past my cheeks. Wore booty shorts in case there was exposure. That being said it's really flattering to the rump. The ruffles fluff out and the back of the top is short and hangs in just the right spot. The fabric is nice but super delicate. One of the straps of the dress was already pulling out just a bit and literally just fell away while I was doing nothing. And I noticed some little snags staring to form in fabric. It's busy enough that you had to really look to see them. Overall super cute if you are brave enough to bare a lot of leg! Also fun to wear pieces separately. I had planned to wear dress with a belt and wedges after work (lose the shirt) but couldn't due to strap fail :(

Super sheer shirt but unfortunately no clue what the full shirt dress would have looked like because RTR only sent me one part of the 2 piece outfit.  Luckily it was the part I could wear so I paired it with a long navy tank, navy leggings and knee high boots.  It worked.  I received lots of compliments but I was disappointed not to have the full effect.  It fit true to size from what I could tell.

For a more buttoned up look, for office, can wear with the full sleeves, but for a sexier date night look, can remove the top part to reveal spaghetti sleeve top. I say it's true to size, but it's a little tight in the butt, and loose in the top. I would definitely get this again to wear in the spring when it's warmer. Great with flat oxfords for a little extra cool.

The torso area was too long even though I shortened the straps all the way. Also, the hips were too tight. If I had gotten an 8 the top would have been huge on me. I did wear it with leggings. It would have been too short otherwise. 

I loved the pattern of this "shirt dress" but was confused when I opened the box and found a shirt.  After re-looking at the picture, I think maybe the skirt and camisole portion was not delivered, but only the overlay shirt? I ended up wearing the shirt with another skirt that I own, but want to point this out to future renters that you may only receive the top shirt portion of this cute "shirt dress" and not the layered skirt.

I would have loved to see it with the entire outfit, but unfortunately i wasn't able to get the dress with it.

Flowy material made me feel super comfortable, cute collar details made for great selfies.

I got this as a part of my Unlimited, and I was dying to keep it forever. I love the fact that it's a two-piece set. I wore it to a birthday brunch on a warm day and wore the shirt over it unbuttoned for a more casual daytime look.  It was great to be able to remove the shirt layer and have the dress still look cute on its own with the ruffled details. I'm usually a 0 but the 2 fit me perfectly, especially with the dress' adjustable straps. 

I got so many compliments on this dress and top! it was versatile, and so very fashionable! I loved that it was layered so you could have two looks in one and it really showed off my long legs! LOVED IT!

What color tights and shoes did you wear?

It is very short. I wore it over leggings which was definitely the right call. I got a lot of compliments on it!

I loved everything about this - it draped perfectly and the loose over shirt balanced the revealing nature of the miniskirt. My one concern was that the material was so thin I couldn't feel it my thick tights; I asked a friend to keep an eye out to make sure it wasn't riding up in the back. 

It is the perfect fit, pattern, style....the works! If you are taller than 5'8" (be aware of the length of the skirt).

Other than that, it is amazing!


Hard to put on but the details and the cut is unique and beautiful

I loved wearing this two piece top to work (there is a tank top piece with the tiered skirting, an the oxford mid length top layers over it).  A nice modern way to wear something playful while still looking professional.  Would also look great with a black leather bottom for a night out. 

I rented this for work, I wasn't expecting it to be as short as it was... Totally wayyy too short to wear to work.  But it is super cute and flirty for a night out 

I wore it with tall brown boots, making it feel more like an outfit for women in their 30s vs 20s. 

2 part outfit - camisole dress & shirt.  The shirt is cut generously but the dress is teeny.  Hopefully if I lose 2 dress sizes i'll squeeze into the 10!

I normally wear an 8-10 and I couldn't even zip a 10.  Super cute though! Wish it had worked!

Ugh this dress is way too short. I rented for to wear to work. I have a big butt so it was even shorter in the back! Almost asymmetrical with the front being longer than the back. Bc of my butt. So even if I wanted to wear for night fun in wouldn't. I might try a size up

I am 5'1 and it was way too short to wear to work. Also if you are curvier I would size up. 

love the pattern and love the idea of the piece but its tiny and short. Could not wear it.

Short fit, not sure if the under portion i received was the same size as the top. I plan to wear the top separate, the skirt portion doesn't hit below my hips and i'm only 5'8". SHORT SHORT SHORT

I wasn't able to wear this because it barely covered my bottom. I normally wear a 4, but ordered the 6 because it's all they had available and I felt it was too small in my hip area. I do have larger hips and a round bottom, so the back was much shorter than the front on me.  It may work better on someone with narrower hips than mine.  The material and style of the dress is beautiful, just didn't work on my body.
