Light and airy, the dress felt better when walking or when the wind blows.  Perfect at my client presentation and comfortable all day long.  It is a bit shapeless around the waist so I added a belt.  It looked much better than I expected.

This dress is so comfortable and light, it's absolutely perfect for just about any day time occasion. For sizing purposes, any body type will work for this dress and stick to your size! It's a flowy and appropriate fit. You may size down as a back up if anything.

This dress is light and airy & perfect for a hot summer! It's pure silk and runs true to size. There is no elasticity or zipper on the dress so perhaps best to order one size up. It also didn't come with a slip which you will definitely need because it is very sheer. The detail is gorgeous and can easily be worn with heels, boots or flats. Can't wait to rent this again!

The fabric is light, with a beautiful die cut fabric. A bit small at bust, but was just perfect for me. Anyone with larger bust would struggle. Fantastic for a date, night at the theatre, party etc. 

I am so happy I chose to rent this piece - It's a perfect summer dress with a bell sleeve and the small flowers on it with a different flower in the fabric makes it a stand out piece. perfect for a casual workday or dinner out. I will note - the entire dress is see through, the pattern on the dress would help with hiding a bra but your best bet is a navy or black slip underneath. I wore a neck black slip and it was perfect. Highly recommend! 

I wore this to the first anniversary of a local start up.  The attire was formal-ish.  This was an office that has a pool table and other games, where I think the people come to work in their gym clothes, so they wanted to bring it up an notch for the event.  This dress was gorgeous, very current and felt amazing on.  It's a flowy floral (but not so floral that you feel like you are wearing granny's sofa).  I loved the layers of shear around the hips that complemented my curvy silhouette.  A particularly lovely aspect of this dress were sleeves that continue over your hands.  Just so feminine and summery in a way I really appreciated.   It's worn over a sheer sheath (provided) so that you can feel confident outdoors since the whole outfit is sheer.  I will say that eating dinner with the sleeves is not an easy task.  But I somehow navigated it.    I got a lot of compliments from total strangers on this.   Really loved it. 

I wore this dress to a Fall bridal shower and I really liked it. It's comfortable and not too tight; pretty but doesn't distract from the bride. Can be worn in any season! Mine came with a slip which helped with the sheer factor. 

This dress is perfect for summer. It's free flowing and comfortable. Great material too. Though I must say, that I was hoping to find a black slip along with the dress as it's quite transparent. Great for the pool, but not going out as in that case you would need to have a black slip!

This is TTS all I had to do was adjust the slip's straps so they did t fall off my shoulders. It's a beautiful dress to wear to work with worries of being to short or too low cut plus it is comfortable. 

I loved this dress and wanted to keep it. The fabric was so beautiful and it was cut very elegantly. 

The details on this dress were great. It was unbelievably flattering. Most dresses are tight around my hips but this one was perfect.

The dress is really pretty.  Unfortunately the slip was not available to rent with this dress - but I had something that worked under the dress. It was very comfortable and pretty and I got a lot of compliments!

Excellent dress that could work in summer, spring and fall. Comes with a navy slip dress for underneath. Both layers (the slip and the overlay) were sheer, but nothing showed through when paired together. 

I loved this dress. I wore it for date night, which was the perfect occasion given it's feminine and attractive silhouette. One thing to note is the dress is see-through; luckily RTR had sent me a slip for a different dress I had through Unlimited so I used that! I definitely want to rent this again.

The lace detail on this outfit is not appreciated until you see it in person.  This was such an easy dress to wear and had so many compliments.  Fabric is so soft and beautiful.

The sleeves were a little long for me. 

The underdress is separate and very sheer, so I thought, uh oh, but the two sheer layers together worked just fine. The neckline is a bit plunging on me (since I should wear a petite), so I wore a camisole too and it worked just great. I received lots of compliments on this dress.

Great fit, loose in the right areas and fitting in others. 

The dress is gorgeous. The material is light and flows very nicely.  The dress can fit any body type.  

I added about which made it look a little more high-end and less flower child- The fabric quality is very area and light the ruffles and skirt looked really beautiful when I walked

Needs the underslip for sure. Adorable and flattering and comfortable. 

Beautiful dress but you do need a slip underneath, it should come with one that coordinates.  

comfortable and easy to wear even with my bigger hips. Loved the long sleeves. I normally like a more structured dress but enjoyed this. Didn't get the tons of compliments I normally do with a RTR dress but still very happy

Both the fabric & cut of this dress were beautiful and exceeded my expectations

Pros- stunning print and silk is beautiful- airy, light very comfortable, came with blue slip.  Very high quality.
Cons- somehow ruffles made me look 10 lbs heavier in the middle which is were I am already heavier, thought it was black but was blue- wanted to wear with tights and boots but looked odd with brown or black boots- better for summer.



There is an underslip that comes with the dress, so despite it being sheer, it is not inappropriate. The fit is a little tight across the chest on me, but the skirt flows beautifully. I feel like it looks navy in real life, though I think it looks black on the screen - that might have to do with the sheerness of the fabric. I'm not sure I'd rent this again just because the style isn't quite me, but it was definitely a fun rent.

I didn't realize from the photos that this dress is two pieces - it comes with a separate black slip.  The long bell sleeves are annoying and impractical, but can be easily tucked under and out of the way.  The material is beautiful.  It's a very romantic dress. 

This dress runs large and would have been more flattering on my body type if it was a size smaller.  I did love wearing this and found that it works for summer and/or winter.  The colors are very pretty and it's such fun style.  I will rent this again in a size 4.

I had a little trouble styling this one - it's a little too hippie/flowy for work on it's own, but then it looks a bit costume-y belted. I ended up belting it for work and then removing the belt for an afterwork event with some fringed booties. If you're busty size up, and be careful...the sheer slip that comes underneath does basically cover everything, but your cleavage WILL show through it!

So, I have a tough body to dress. I'm very hour-glassy. 34DDD bust and size 8 bum, so dresses are often tricky. This was very snug in the bust but still managed to work. Everything else was flowy and beautiful, and it's a really versatile look.

It is 100% silk, as most Derek Lam is, CAUTION to larger butts. Even though the dress is flowy the lining is short and can be tight around the hips! (ALSO 100% SILK!) I would size up!

I usually wear size 2 with this brand but this particular dress fit a bit tight around the bust area (I'm a 36B). You definitely want to wear an under dress underneath, as the fabric is pretty see through and the dress does not come with one.

I liked that this dress has pockets. But it makes my hips look way bigger due to the extra material. Also print looked very dated in person. Returned right away.
