Long dress but a very flattering cut. It wasn't as boxy as I thought. And pockets. So.....

Very fun twist on a shirt dress! I loved the back of it. 

This dress is a great color, the fits ok, the straps for around the waist are really long and black which is kind of weird.

Nifty in every way, this dress is classic in blue and white stripes. Many good details and good surprises the dress like the black fabric on one side of sash and the criss cross back. Perfect! 

My favorite colors , stripes are in, love cap sleeves, the belt was a bit complicated at first but I looked up the description and figured it out. The best thing about this dress besides the color and stripes is the pockets!!  They are slit to the side and deep. You can adjust the dress from Inside the pockets. 

Great outfit for a Sunday brunch outdoors.

Fit perfectly. The fabric is very crisp and the style in the back is a really nice touch. The perfect length. It has pockets too!   

This is a fantastic dress. From the material to the cut to the color, it is impeccable. Creates an instant waist for those of us who are straight-bodied and is made from a very crisp, sateen-like cotton that doesn't seem to wrinkle. I wore it out and about on a work trip on a day where I did lots of walking and I was so comfortable, then wore it to the office and a work dinner a few days later. Loads of compliments! 

Got tons of compliments on this one. The fabric is nice and thick, and the buttons and belt were in all the right places. It has pockets which is always a plus, too. I can't say it's the most flattering dress ever, but I still liked it. Only drawback is that it wrinkles throughout the day, and my bra peeked through the arm holes a little bit. 

Gorgeous dress, wrinkles semi easily- but stands out beautifully, classic style, gorgeous colors, and cute bent with contrast underbelly for the flip/tie.... As other reviewers said the arm holes are gi-normous- you MUST wear a Cami/spandex slip with this. I understand it's the care free crisp New England summer style, but it's excessive. As a curvy woman, the last thing I need to do is add more bulk. If you're in between sizes, definitely size down (unless ALL of your weight is in the bottom- then stay true to size, the dress buttons & has no stretch).

Lovely quality and design, it just runs at least a size large. I was able to make it work with the belt for one day, but it was huge on top and had gaping arm holes. Also worth noting it wrinkles pretty easily.

The arm holes were really but so I had to wear a cami bra underneath because you could completely see my bra when I lifted my arms. The fabric wrinkled easily and I had a hard time tying it. I got a lot of compliments, but I didn't really enjoy wearing it.

This dress was a nice weight fabric but way too long for me

It's just ok. Kinda tight in the mid section and big up top... and I have large boobs! I wore it unbuttoned at the top because it was awkwardly baggy on top when buttoned up. It's pretty tight on the stomach so uncomfortable sitting, but I was still cute for the day! 

The photo's don't do the color justice! Beautiful shaped dress and lovely color. This dress was very customizable. You could wear it all buttoned up, or open like a cardi, or half buttoned. I loved the flexibility and wore it different ways. It also kept its shape! Perfect for dressing down for everyday glam or up for date nights. 

Dress was big for my suggested size.  cute pattern, different design. good for wear to work.

The crisp fabric and obi belt makes this dress look great on multiple body types. Can be dressed up with heels or down with trainers. 

I ordered up after reading reviews and the dress turned out too big but worked. It's definitely a boxy shape. I wish the belt wasn't attached the dress. I think it would have been more attractive with a different belt.

Got the belt figured out and it seemed to wrap around me with a proper leftover length, but there was just an awkward amount of excess material around my hips/butt. Would not crease and lay down properly, so I did not wear it. Not super clear if a smaller size would have been helpful. My frame is 35/27/36.

Wore this dress for a Saturday day out with friends. It was a little big in the bust but I tied it a little tighter and was good to go for the day!

Flew to a one-day conference in this dress.  Very cute - polished without being too formal.  The only thing I'll say is that it is much longer on a 5'6" frame than the model.  Hit me mid-calf.  

Lots of compliments. Vibrant color and flattering. Very pretty for work or play! 

This dress has fabulous detail and fabulous color. I had to get used the front slit and side slits being high when I sat down, but I think that's just because I'm not used to having slits at all. The slits didn't seem high at all when standing. Some folks may want to sized down if they don't like a looser fit, but I thought the fit was great. Tummy tire approved.

I rented this for a (creative industry) interview and it was so perfect - easy, comfortable, and chic with that tailored shirt dress work look and a great hire-me strong shoulder crossed with summer-style stripes. The overall look is conservative but a warning that it can be a bit peek-a-boo with the slits on the sides and also at the front placket, and at the arm holes. Also it's fine with nude undergarments but even light pink (usually close enough to nude on my skin tone) showed through.

It's very flattering because you can tie the belt however you want, and the sizing is forgiving because the fit of the garment itself is loose. As others note it runs pretty large so don't be afraid to order down if you are between sizes or even if your true size isn't available. I was ok on the 38 but would go down next time - especially as that might help with how open the arm holes were. But it was perfect for my interview and I will definitely rent it again for work or a summer party.

Very interesting and fun dress for work. My regular size was unavailable but both the sizes bigger and larger were there. I went with the size smaller because it seemed roomy and I'm glad I did. My regular size would have been too big. The dress is adjustable around the waist and has space in the hips and bust. Very flattering for an hourglass shape. I was slightly concerned that the back would be too open for work, but it's not quite as open as in the model's photos. 

Runs a bit big... lot of material.  I'd size down if I rented again.  Love the color and the double-wrapping belt.  F

go down at least 2 sizes. this dress isn't supposed to be tight, but is still massive all around. i'm typically a 2/4 and the 2 was huge. the 0 might be better, but i think the armholes and chest area, etc will still be large. if you're smaller than me i wld not recommend this dress only because of sizing. the style is awesome and i cannot recommend it enough for the pattern and gorgeous blue, esp for spring. great pockets, etc. if only the sizing wasn't so off this wld be a staple for spring!

Ugh. I had such high hopes for this dress but my standard size looked like I was wearing a big sack. I could tighten the belt, but there was still so much extra fabric and you could see my whole bra through the gaping armpit holes. What a bummer. 

fit very wide but I got compliments and it was comfortable. Arm holes were HUGE

The bold blue and white stripe on this was not appealing to me. The tie around the middle is very long so you have to wrap it around several times. It's obviously a high quality garment but doesn't look like it on - it looked frumpy and the bold stripe was just...too bold. It was not flattering, chic or cute...I didn't wear it.

The cut was boxy. I should have ordered the 6 equivalent even with my large bust. The belt is awkward and does not tie beautifully. It was just an okay dress. Btw the cut out at the top of the back might make this a little too much for some offices. 

I am full breasted and it was too baggy on top.  Had to wear s tank cause you could see my bra on the sides.  The dress wrinkles easily.  Wore it once but wouldn't go through the hassle of ironing for another wear.  

Really nice quality dress but runs small. I generally wear a 50/52 in Derek Lam tops but this dress came no where near buttoning up. Will definitely order this dress again but will likely need to size up one or two sizes.
