I rented this dress for vacation and wore it with both booties to dress up and flats for walking around. The dress is wonderful,  but unlined and the material can be a bit clingy due to the material. Overall, great dress though 

I added a belt. Styled with doc martens, a purchased RTR jacket and a rented RTR purse. 

Loved this dress for work. Wore it with a belt because it's pretty loose, but super comfy and the print is just fun enough for work. Cuffs have cute bow detail also (although they got in the way a few times)

High quality. Sophisticated. Great for travel/doesn't wrinkle. Super comfy. 

I thought the 44 might be too big. I'm usually an 8. It was loose overall but one button slightly pulled at front so I'm glad I didn't get a smaller size. 

Print is a bit dull. 

This is a fun and very comfortable dress. I love the fabric. A slightly different look but then again now is the best time to try something different. I got a lot of compliments on this one. Very happy I rented it. 

I loved this dress. I added a belt because it was a bit loose. The sleeve detail is really cool and adding sneakers dressed it down a bit for the office.

I live in NC and would wear this year round. It was cutest on me when I belted it but either way it looked great. My mema liked it too!

If this were 300 cheaper I'd purchase in a heartbeat 

The fabric and draping are beyond flattering and exquisite

High quality. Sophisticated. Breezy, yet tailored. Ability to dress up or down. 33 weeks pregnant and I loved the way this worked well with the bump!

Dress is silk with printed design. Loose around waist, so I wore with a belt for a bit more definition.

Fit is somewhat loose, you could size down. I loved the fabric (silky lightweight). Could def dress up or down. The sleeve ties are somewhat annoying (long) but not worthy of detracting stars. It's a great piece. 

This dress is simply stunning. I rented it for a coworkers retirement dinner - just perfect!

Wore to a baby shower and it was the backup to my backup outfit.. it did the job but I won't rent again. I'm 5'6'' and it felt a bit long and landed in no-man's-land around half an inch above my knee. Would've preferred a tiny bit shorter or longer/midi. So I belted it which worked but also was a bit wonky with the asymmetrical detailing on the dress. I was readjusting throughout the party. But It was very comfortable and loved the sleeves.

I LOVE THIS DRESS! The fabric is beautiful and the style is unique, with great details. Although it doesn't look or feel short when you first put it on, it rides up waaaaay too high when sitting down, to the point of being inappropriate. My fix was to wear it over leggings, but it's not quite s much fun that way. Still got lots of compliments though, and will use it with leggings again before sending it back. This may not be a problem for shorter women, though. At 5'10", it may just be an issue for me. I thought the dress looked more black on white in the RTR picture is, when it arrived, it looked more white on black. In any case, it is a great dress.

I wore this to work and got lots of compliments - but I was self conscious about the short hem line all day. the hem is slightly asymmetrical. the exaggerated sleeves are beautiful, just make sure the bows are secure. slightly tight in the chest area, however I'm larger chested so this is often an issue I run into with button down dresses/tops. I wore a black camisole underneath and used a magnet faster to keep the dress from gaping. the print is beautiful, but I found the fabric to be very hot.

Wore several times. Dressed up with tights and heels, dresses down with leggings, boots, and belt. Great dress! 

Fits perfectly, super flowy, very forgiving, definitely flattering. WOW. Total home run. Now I just need to go buy some keds to style it like the RTR model.

I love this dress so much. It's beautiful but can also be worn to work. Watch the wind though... it's super light material can catch you showing off more than expected. After one wear the top button kept coming undone too.

I'm a massive proponent of clothes I can 'thrown on and go'. I ride a motorcycle to work every day so changing out of jeans and into something professional/ chic  quickly is imperative. This dress is very light and breathable, flows beautifully and you can toss it on in seconds. It holds its shape all day and doesn't wrinkle. The pattern is excellent to pair with simple flats or heels for casual or dressed up and also makes accessorizing a breeze. 

Very flattering, comfortable and cute, would rent again. 

The details are great and the fabric is wonderful, but it's shapeless and not very flattering.

I should’ve known to size up here- buttons keeps puckering open. Next time will order a larger size lol

The fabric is lovely and the structure details are pretty cool, although you can't see all the detail in the flurry of the pattern.  It's rather fitted on top, so those with curvy tops beware of ordering too small.  I wore this with a short fitted jeans jacket to give me more shape and break up the pattern and it looked amazing.  Will rent again.

Thought this dress was so incredibly cute but it just runs a little short for me! I'm 5'10" (and I have a butt) so this is nothing new, but just felt it rode up a tad too much upon sitting where my butt was sometimes exposed. The tailoring is fantastic though and gives body to an otherwise "typical" shirt dress. If it were an inch or two longer I'd be sold!

Awesome pattern and surprising details make this an easy, breezy elevated shirt dress. Long ties at wrists made washing hands a bit difficult; tucking them into the cuffs did the trick. Paired with pale lavender Converse sneaks for a relaxed look, but it could easily be dressed up with black heels. 

Wore it during Passover. Was perfect and appropriate. Looks good with tights or without. I wore it with a leather jacket, the length was great. Wore it with a slip to prevent static. Doesn't accommodate bigger chests, but I wore a minimizer bra and it worked out. 

This is a very forgiving cut. I could have sized down everywhere but the bust, so I added a belt for a little definition at the waist. There is some asymmetrical detailing, but honestly, the print is busy enough that it's hard to notice. The wrist ties didn't bother me. The silk was gorgeous and the print was perfect for spring.

Derek Lam is a favorite of mine and this dress does not disappoint. Loved the fit and cut - not too low cut in the front and interesting details otherwise. A colleague liked it so much she joined Rent the Runway Unlimited. The fabric is not too heavy and the sleeves with wrist ties are just glorious. I got so many compliments. I will rent this again and again. I wore it for work and to a more formal event. Paired it with the yellow Veda leather jacket. 

Really loved it. Just as expected - no surprises. 

The fit and fabric are great. The sleeve ties are a little annoying even for sitting at a keyboard. Accidentally wore it on a day I had to do stuff with my hands and was challenging. 

It runs a bit large - I'll probably size down next time. 

The dress was very nice to take to a meeting as the material doesnt winkle and is easy to handle. The length is up to the knees. The only annoying thing were the sleeves, as they were hanging.
