This dress fit well, but I'm glad I read reviews and sized up! The waist was quite tight, but I had no issues with the larger size being too large even on my petite shoulders. I'm usually between a 6 and an 8, and I wore a 10 in this dress. That said, it was flowy and comfortable, even chasing my pre-school and toddler-aged daughters who were flower girls in the wedding I wore it to. Pretty spring or summer wedding guest dress!

This dress fit like a glove. I am 63 years old, 5'7" , 34B, and weigh 120lbs. I wore it for my outdoor wedding celebration. Paired it with silver shoes and pink Kate Spade earrings. Loved wearing it!

This dress was so lovely and feminine, the pockets were my favorite part of the dress. The fabric was thicker than I envisioned but it worked perfectly for a cold wedding evening.  I got so many compliments and everyone loved the color. 

The dress was perfect for the event. And yes, great to have pockets! It is stylish yet appropriately conservative for the occasion. 

Fabric is heavy but not hot- wore to an outdoor wedding in July and was comfortable! Tight around bodice with flared skirt is flattering - not a lot of stretch but fit snugly. 

The fit was true. The zipper was an issue for a moment. The lining was nice.

Nice fit, a little tight in the waist and bust, so I guess the next size would have been good too. 

I rented this for a more formal (but not black-tie) summer wedding. The fabric is gorgeous - it is a thicker fabric, which I loved. I paired with pewter shoes.

It runs fairly true to size, but the waist is a little smaller than most. 

I rented this for my daughter to wear to her graduation and dinner. She looked amazing in it and she loved the compliments!

Gorgeous print and colors.  Thick material. Accentuates your waist.  Dress was LONGER on me than shown in model, but works with right shoes.  No stretch in the arm holes.

It is a bit snug in the chest area and it's longer than tea length but it looked great on! 

It fit perfectly!  The dress is made from a heavy brocade fabric, and it has excellent construction.

This dress for beautifully on my best friend! As a 5'4" curvy girl with size 2 busy and size unknown tush we ordered a size 4 and 8 as back up. She did wear the 8 as it was just more comfortable to move around in; after all she spent most of the day chasing her toddler. Needless to say she still won best dressed ! The dress material is flowy enough to move freely but stricter enough that she still looked great at the end of the day when then photo was taken! Rent it! 

This dress was great- the length was perfect. I wore silver sandals with it and thought they went perfectly. The top of the dress was very tight, so no bra needed, but I felt like it was flattering and made my waist look tiny! 

Great dress, the only complaint was the way the pleats were ironed made it poof out quite a bit.

This 41 year old mom felt beautiful and carefree!  My first rtr, I chose a style that I could fit to one area. This empire waist was easy to fit to my bust.  Longer than I anticipated, this would be even more beautiful on a taller woman.  I'm 5'6", 150 lbs, leaf shaped and the 8 worked for me.  

I'm typically a petite 00 and this fit like a glove!  Hit me low calf.  Shiny fabric, thick/warm, but very pretty on.  Also very poofy.  Very small in the bust area.  Overall, pretty feminine dress!

I wore this dress for a funeral, yes, funeral. Our grandma request was no black, happy colors and is march so the whole family wore spring colors...
Well, I received many compliments, weird in a funeral. The dress it's absolutely beautiful, was a tea length, I wore a 100mm heels rose beige and was perfect. No bra needed, very think fabric and best things. The lining is light gray. I usually wear 2, but the zipper didn't close, runs small.4 perfect.

Pros - beautiful dress, lots of compliments, not too heavy. Cons - knowing my petite size (I am 5' 4" and a size 14) I was worried full length gowns would run too long. This appears below the knee on the model, however it went mid-calf on me. Not too big of  a complaint, but would love to see more petite sizes as an option. 

I rented this for a wedding. I loved this dress. Based on reviews I ordered a size up and it fit perfectly!  I got so many compliments and I really hated to send it back

I loved this dress! I wore it to a wedding and received tons and tons of compliments! With that being said, Size Up!! Especially if you have a larger chest! I saw reviews saying this so I did and was very glad! The bottom of this dress is very poufy- which I loved! I am on the shorter side so this dress was a little longer on me then I had originally expected but I didn't mind! And the pockets were an added pleasure!  Overall, this was a wonderful dress!!

I wore this dress to my brother's wedding in April. It was a lot of fun to wear, and I got many compliments on it. The material is not stretchy or forgiving, so be sure that you are getting the right size! This fit me fine (I'm a 14 and this was a size 14 dress) except in the rib cage area--it was pretty tight. So, "true to size" with one exception, I suppose. It is well structured and good quality. It is heavier than it looks, so if you're looking to rent this for an outdoor summertime affair, I'd check the weather first. 

This is a GREAT dress! I wore it for a theater's annual gala. I'm typically a size 10 but took a 12 in this. The top is very fitted. The fabric is gorgeous - I got a lot of compliments! Also, it has pockets which is an automatic win in my book. The skirt is lined and very full. I'm 5'10" so the length was perfect on me. Because I'm tall I often worry about the waist of dresses hitting me awkwardly but it was fine on this. I highly recommend this dress!

Someone told me they "loved it so much they wanted to make a curtain out of it".  ;) Thick sturdy material. I am tiniest on top and the six fit my chest and waist perfectly. If it is at all baggy on the top it won't look right since the waist is so pouffy. I felt very elegant. 

Beautiful brocade pattern on the dress. Perfect for a Pakistani wedding. Dress is modest. Skirt is a little too poufy, because fabric is stiff. Made my butt look bigger that it is, but that's ok. 

The skirt is so full that it needs to either go all the way to the ground (where the heavy material would balance out the volume) or stop below the knee (and just be a fuller skirt party dress). As it is, it hit me sort of at the bottom of my calf and looked like I was drowning. If I owned it, I would definitely get it hemmed because the material is beautiful and I loved the top of it. May work better if you're really tall?

This dress was amazing. I felt like a princess in it. It is a very classy dress. It does run small, but I ordered one size up and it fit me like a glove. I love that it had pockets and the fabric was just beautiful. It does have a bit of puff at the bottom, but it didn't accentuate my hips in a negative way. The one thing that you can't see from the picture is that it is LONG. I am 5'8" and it hit me about halfway down my calves. Not a huge problem, but it would have looked weird if I didn't wear heels. 

I wore this dress to a gala for work and it was great. I got components all night long. I belted it because I have to wear a walkie talkie but it still worked with nude pumps to match the nude belt. It was a heavier fabric, so perfect for March weather, and it held its shape really well. Zipper was tricky at the waist line, but that's pretty standard for rtr and most hidden zippers in general. All in all it was lovely and I'd probably rent again. 

This dress was fantastic for an outdoor spring wedding.  The colors are gorgeous with a slight sheen.  The dress has pockets (a huge plus!) and is a slightly thicker material, so you don't have to worry about undergarments showing (I wore a normal bra with this dress).  It does fit slightly small, so consider that when picking your sizes.  I'm 5'5" and it came to my lower calf, but it still looked great.  I'm so glad I rented this one!  

I rented this dress for the Nutcracker Ballet in Seattle. I am usually in a T-shirt and Jeans, so dressing up was a great change! We went had drinks, then dinner, and then watched the Ballet. 
I loved the fact that I can wear a regular bra underneath. The dress had an awesome weight to it, fantastic color. I was warm during the production. I didnt really have to worry about stockings. It was an awesomely not too cold night in Seattle. 
I was worried about the color, but I was wrong. IT WAS GORGEOUS! I am a huge fan of tea length dresses and this hit me at mid calf. (Im a whopping 5'6") 
My husband had to zip me up, and the zipper stuck in some places, but it was still ok. 
I wish that it came one size higher (only goes sup to 14). The area around the rib cage is SUPER tight! Those are the ONLY negatives. 
AND IT HAS POCKETS!!!


The 6 fit like a glove. It is very fitted in the waist and rib cage. 
Overall, the dress is so comfortable, and it made me feel like a princess. The length in my photo looks long, but it's kind of the angle of the photo. It went to about my mid-calf.

This dress is beautiful and unique. The fabric doesn't have much give, so be warned. With a fuller chest, the dress was a bit snug up top, but not uncomfortably so.  The length is unique, but being fairly tall it worked for me. And the skirt is fuller in person that it is in the pictures online. With the full skirt and the length, I definitely would recommend this for taller women. Also the fabric wrinkles easily - I had to put it in a suitcase after I received it, and didn't have the opportunity to take it to be pressed again.

After reading the other reviews I was worried that the rib cage area would be too tight.  But to my surprise it was not and the dress fit great.  I had a little trouble getting the zipper up in a certain area but that seems to be the case with most of my dresses that are this style.  

I ordered an 8 and 10, as both sometimes fit and the 8 was definitely too small, while the 10 was a perfect fit (thank God for two sizes). I also have wider shoulders/back, so the 10 was perfect. The length was perfect as it wasn't floor length or above the knee - perfect for a formal wedding. The material is heavier than I thought, but make the way it laid even better and structured, but worked great to dance in! I was sad to send it back!

I love this dress! Per reviews from other wearers I went up to a size 6 (normally I wear a 4). It was perfect! I paired it with nude heals and some amazing earrings and got so many compliments. I love dancing and the length was perfect, on the models it looks like it hits just below the knee, for me it was about mid-calf. I would highly recommend this dress. The colors were amazing- orange/coral/pink with a grayish undertone.

This dress was pretty and appropriate for my occasion, and very comfortable.  I rented a 10 and a 12.  The 10 zipped and fit but was tight in the rib-cage and chest.  The 12 was just more comfortable with plenty of breathing and chest room.  Overall, liked the dress a lot and received many compliments.  Couple of notes though: The background is definitely a light grey and not beige.  I feel like it's a little more grey than the pictures show.  Also, at 5'4", the dress came to a few inches above my ankles - as expected since I am short.  Finally, upon close inspection, the 12 I received (but not the 10) looked a little worn (a few pulls here and there, a little wear around the neck).  I'm sure I'm the only one who noticed but I really expected it to be in great condition and was a little disappointed.   Overall, would rent again.  

I am a Fundraising Events Manager and I wore this dress for a gala. It was the perfect combination of elegant and simplistic - and the pockets were an added bonus. 

Fits tight in the rib cage. I am a 34B. I ended up wearing no bra so it wasn't as tight! 
Long, big dress. Definitely helped that I am tall!

True to size and you can wear a traditional bra. As a 36D I always love when I can wear my usual bra. I received TONS of compliments both at the wedding and from friends who saw pictures. Flattering, feminine, comfortable and so easy to dance in. I attended an elegant out door wedding and this dress was perfect for it. Would rent it again in a heart beat.
