Fit perfect.  Heavy fabric.  Great color.   Loads of compliments 

I was a bit nervous about my short height and the dress being too long but it ended up fitting just great.

And that's a big but. And by big but, I mean my big butt. This dress was gorgeous for all sorts of reasons: the color, the interesting cut/silhouette, the thick linen fabric. 

My one issue with it was that the dress was built for someone with a full bust and a slim bottom. I have the opposite proportions. The inner part of this dress is like a pencil skirt. I got a size up (S) as my backup size, and it was a TIGHT fit. I don't think I could have gotten the XS on even if I tried. Even if I had gotten the M as a backup instead, I have a feeling the bust of the dress would have been too loose.

C'est la vie. Worth it for one night at a wedding, but now I feel as if I intimately understand what it was like to wear a corset in the 1800s.

Okay this dress is amazing in theory but had some flaw where I almost sent it back. This dress runs SMALL. I'm usually a 4/6 S, the Medium was so tight over my hips and thighs, I couldn't pull it up for the restroom. That being said, it's short, but too tight to expose the bits. Stairs were entertaining. 
The top was looser, and I'm a 32C. and the lining was folding out from the top and had to be pinned in. There is structured boning on the sides that keeps your girls up but I'd suggest a backless sticky bra for shape. It's too low for a normal strapless. Once I was stitched and encapsulated in this thing, it was GORGEOUS. The color is vibrant and the over skirt drapes in a flattering way. The fabric is like a thick lined  linen but perfect weight for summer. The belt is adjustable and detachable. Although this dress is BEGGING for pockets, I'd still recommend it. 

Loved this dress! Got lots of compliments on the unique cut. It's classy and the color is super rich.
Was easy to dance in - no problem with it staying up. The inner layer is snug but in a good way. Big fan! PS. The cork clutch is RTR too!

I absolutely love this dress! It was perfect for my fiancé's mid January holiday party. I highly recommend going a size or two up. I'm normally a medium but I rented the L and XL and decided with a few tweaks the L would do. I'm curvy and neither dress sat well on my hips and both were very big in the chest. I wore this with some spanx and double sided tape for my chest and it was fine. 

Simple but stylish! Received many compliments :) It runs small so make sure you get a size up. 

- Overall, great dress. Would totally rent again
- Tight in the bust area if you are full chested
- Wool material, so not great for hot weather
- Can appear pretty long if you're short like me, but the inner short skirt helps. Just make sure you show some leg in pictures so it doesn't look too long on you
- Beautiful color, just as pictured

Fabric is substantive. Tight in skirt. Wear padded bra to fill out top if small busted. 

The other reviews describing the tight fit of the under-dress are accurate -- the inner dress runs very small! The medium was still a bit tight, but it helps to have the outer layer to cover it up. The medium was a bit loose on the top for me, it just felt like a lot of other people had worn the dress and it lost a bit of its shape. 
The dress still stayed up all night, and the blue color is beautiful! The belt also makes a thick knot and looks great. 

The dress is overall a small fit. The bust was tight and I used fashion tape to keep it up. The shorter part of the dress was also a little tight when I sat down but overall, the dress was very comfortable and just stunning! I loved the bold color, a great alternative to your average cocktail dress. Highly recommend.

This was an awesome dress.  It was a bit tight but the medium I also rented was a bit big.  However, it looked great, received so many compliments.  

I found this dress to be absolutely beautiful. It does fit tight on thighs -- my posture was very straight all night! Definitely glad I got a backup in a M because the Small which I usually wear was a bit small. 
I loved the dress though and it was complimented all night. 

Rented the XS and S. The dress runs small She’s tall and thin but even the small was a bit snug. It was gorgeous and the color was vibrant.

I've never worn a large but couldn't zip up the medium. Since it was a large the top didn't fit as tight as I would've liked. It gaped a little bit at the top, which is unusual as I am a 34D!  Otherwise the dress looked great on, was a beautiful color, and had a unique style.  I really liked the sash and how I could style it the way I wanted.  I got lots of compliments all night. 

I loved this dress so much.  The first time I ordered it too small.  This time I used it for Halloween.  It looked awesome.  The fit is very tight around the legs but the top was loose.  I just love this dress.



Loved the color!! The design overall is very unique. Felt a little tight, but overall a great dress as always. Added a little "pop" with metallic shoes.

This is an amazing dress!  I received compliments the entire night (even from the Bride).  Others have commented that the bottom is snug; that is true but I didn't need to size up and was comfortable the entire night.  The dress had been worn, so the top didn't lay right (the material underneath showed), but nothing some fashion tape couldn't fix.  I highly recommend this dress!

This dress looked gorgeous and was so stylish BUT it was so uncomfortable. Thick thick fabric and absolutely no wiggle room for the under bodice. Thank goodness this had a chic overlay, because the under part fit like a clubbing dress.  I wouldn't recommend this for curvy people. 

Needed the dress last minute and only small and XS were left. As the case for any designer dress, unfortunately, the dress does run small and would've needed a medium for sure! Received a ton of compliments, and the color is stunning! 

LOVED the color of the dress. Hated the fit. I'm usually a medium (and at times a small) and the large was extremely tight in my hips. The top was very large. I used a LOT of dress tape and the thickest strapless bra I had, and the top kept coming down. Sitting down and standing up was miserable. It looked cute because of the overlay, but the dress itself was WAY too tight. I wouldn't recommend unless you are very top heavy with small hips. 

No stretch and runs small so size up.  Thick meteria and pretty blue color.  

It was a bit of work but I would do it all again for this beauty of a dress! I will note my dress was the last size available and had obviously been well worn, the lining of the dress in the bust would fold over and out, I had to steam, iron AND pin the lining to the outer shell so that it wouldn't droop over. 
The dress runs small, and even saying that doesn't seem like enough, it's ill-fitting between the bust and the hips.  
HOWEVER, the cape covers any snugness around the hips so the dress is very flattering, if you can manage the shorter dress riding up when sitting I would recommend this dress. The different lengths make this so fun for photos and to dance in and the color is to die for

This dress was incredible. It is an amazing color and awesome style. However the fit was quite small. It was very tight on the hips/butt area. Sitting was difficult and definitely rode up a lot. I am very tall and would say I'm more curvy than thin so just a warning on how snug it is. Received many compliments but wasn't exactly comfortable all night :) 

As others have described, the dress's skirt is really tight. It was hard to bend and sit, so definitely go a size larger. The upper part of the dress is loose, therefore I couldn't wear M size. However, if you have larger bust, you should be fine. The bummer was that the S size didn't come with the belt. Gladly I had M size in hand and I used that instead. Also, the S size back zipper doesn't have the pin as the M size does, which made it troublesome that the dress could unzip randomly. Material is way more thick than you could see from the pictures.

This dress caught my eye because I love the cobalt color. It's just as rich in person as it is in the picture. If you'll be dancing, the overskirt flares dramatically when you turn, so that's fun. I was a fan of the belt because it hid my little tummy bulge. However, this dress is extremely tight on the bottom. I couldn't fit into the medium at all so I had to wear the large. Even the large underskirt was difficult - pulling it back down each time I used the restroom was a production. But the top was large - I needed fashion tape.

The dress definitely fits true to size because the XS barely fit me. I would size up if you have a larger chest because it was quite difficult for me to zip up. The contrasting hem of the skirt looks absolutely lovely when you walk & the color is just so eye catching. This wasn't very comfortable to me but then again I did get the wrong size!

I received so many compliments on this dress. Everyone loved how the cut subtly showed off my legs and the wide belt highlighted my waist.

It definitely runs small! I'm typically a size S, occasionally a size XS because of my small chest and occasionally a size M because of my wide hips. I received a size Small and Medium, and I couldn't even attempt to zip up the Small. I was able to fit into the size Medium, but it was definitely snug all around. There was a little room in the chest because I have a smaller bust size, but the skirt was SUPER snug around my hips and butt so it was a little difficult to walk in. But because of the outer layer, no one could tell it was tight. I would order a size up and if you have a curvier body, you may want to go up a couple sizes for your backup.

I received so many compliments all night on the color and the style of the dress.  It does run small in the hip and leg area, so i did end up wearing the large.   This does mean that the dress was a little big on the top but I used some fashion tape and it worked wonderfully.  I would highly recommend this dress for fall weddings ... you will not be disappointed.  

I rented this dress for a friends rehearsal dinner. It stood out and looked great! However, it does run very small. I am consistently a size 2 and could barely get the size small zipped due to the tight under layer. The longer over layer concealed the fact that the under layer was super tight. Sitting was not the most comfortable. I would definitely size up for your backup. It also has no clasp so the zipper slid down a bit.

Thus is a uniquely styled dress. It is a mini dress with a longer covering. This dress runs small around the midsection. I did not wear a bra.I felt amazing in the dress but the fabric is heavy I think it is jacquard.  I received many compliments!  I danced all night!

The dress needs a clasp or the zipper falls down. Get a size up when ordering. I still went with the small but it was tight! 

I wore this dress for my bridal shower in Los Angeles it was a brunch all of the guests wore white I wore blue it was the perfect dress.  The bust fit fine but the bottom part fit tight so you want to size up if you have full hips. I wore the size 6.

Loved this dress! I'm always a little nervous to wear strapless dresses but I felt really secure in this dress and didn't need to wear a bra. The material is thick and feels expensive but is light enough for a summer event. Also- the size Large that I wore happened to have a small clasp that someone had sewn onto it- thank God they did otherwise the zipper will unzip itself when you sit down or move around.

The dress was fabulous- you feel amazing when you wear it.  A few problems I had to deal with through out the night which made it extremely uncomfortable. 

The dress rubs small, I got a size small as I am 5'2 and weigh 115/117 lbs and usually wear size 2 dresses, but it was a little difficult to zip up and I don't know if everybody dealt with this but it had no hook so it kept unzipping. I had to put a safety pin and because it was so tight the safety pin kept popping. 

By the end of the night, I realized my boyfriend was keeping an eye out if the zipper went down and would help pulling it up.   I had even asked for a free size medium but they did not send it. 

Otherwise if you can fix the zipper problem - all was great! 

Pros: Great color, perfect length, loved the overall look
Cons: Started to look worn, the top lining kept folding over and displaying the inseam, the underdress was very tight on my hips and thighs

Overall, a beautiful dress but was definitely starting to show wear and tear. The fabric was starting to show pills but luckily they could only really be seen up close. From afar, the dress looked great. I also had to tape the top part of the dress because the inseam kept showing. Finally, the underdress definitely runs small! I'm usually a size 6/medium but I ordered a Large as my back up after reading reviews. Even the large was very tight and made it difficult to sit down. I loved the style and color. The belt also gave it a very elegant look!

This dress looked great but if you have ANY hips or behind, it's horribly ill fitting in the under dress part. I found myself shimmying everytime I had to go to the bathroom. I wore the XL to fit on the bottom, but found the top would fold over and started to get loose. I got so many compliments and felt great in the dress (when I wasn't sitting) but the under skirt has no give and is straight, making it nearly impossible for any curves.

I rented this for an early fall wedding in Colorado. The color, cut style are all very beautiful and the dress looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The only issue that I had was that I didn't receive my backup size and the XS was pretty tight. It worked but it was a little hard to walk up stairs and sit super comfortably for someone who is petite but muscular. Other than that, highly recommend!
