This is not real denim. It’s a stretch jegging material which makes it look and feel less expensive. The fabric has a weird shape to work with. 

Like other ladies I was surprised that this was stretchy and restricting at the same time.  Body fit well but the sleeves were awkward.  Definitely looked best without the little shoulder tie.

Loved this top so much i purchased it. Fit true to size, can be worn in all seasons!

the strap wasn't cute so I didn't wear it as show on model but other than that is was so cute ! 

Liked it. Was hard to wear with a coat. The strap for the off shoulder side is really warn out and makes it look old so I hid it

In order to have the top stay in place, I put a pin above the top button.  

Great item to add a unique yet simple flair. Item fits TTS as I got my normal size. Slightly weird way the fabric folds over on the covered shoulder but easy to adjust. Comfortable fabric.

This looks great on but if I was home alone I could not have tied the tie and flattened the collar. It is fitted and stretchy but somehow also tight. Great look and the pants are rented here too

I absolutely ADORED this top and one day I hope to buy it, just now it’s not in the budget.

This is such a fun piece - I was surprised by how much I liked it! The denim is thick and stretchy and the asymmetric off the shoulder adds just the right amount of interest. I would not use the shoulder tie that’s included. I think it detracts from the look.

Tons of compliments on this. Was stopped several times.  The collar definitely adds some interest and freshness to the typical jean shirt. Ability to cinch in at waist is always a plus.  I would consider myself curvy, size 10 and ordered a large

I loved it.   The fit was fun.   Can be dressed up or down.   The arms are a bit tight, but if I had sized up, the chest and waist would have been too large.  

I was pleasantly surprised that this fit after the mixed reviews I read. Although I'm tall with very long arms, I have a short torso, and this worked great on me! I was stopped so many times and complimented on the top. I didn't even bother to wear a strapless bra, just dropped the bare shoulder side strap down some. Love this too, would have purchased it if it was in the budget!

The look was very cute and matched my pants perfectly, but the arms were shorter than expected and was a bit uncomfortable to wear all day.

I’m a 36D and it fit well. Also great coverage over the hips.

I wanted to like this top. It’s definitely eye-catching, but the cut is weird. The sleeves are confining so don’t expect to raise your arms. The material has stretch so it was nice to wear. That strap thing is dumb, so I didn’t tie it. I liked that it was little longer so it definitely made me feel like it was a mature top. I felt well-dressed with linen pants. I didn’t love it, but I’d rent it again if I needed something easy to wear and eye catching. Probably best for a baby/bridal shower or casual date night.

At first I thought the shirt felt tight and restricting but once button I realized this shirt has so much stretch and it does not loose shape. It was extremely comfortable. Cute off the shoulder and a unique design without being extremely avant-garde. 

I'm still not sure about this top.  The material is stretchy, but the cut is a bit confining.  No way to lift arms up over head, and the strap thing over the shoulder seemed too long.  I did receive compliments and felt well-dressed.

I love the off the shoulder vibe of this top.  Makes you feel extra special for a date night.  The only thing I did not like was the tie at the shoulder.  I ended up tucking it in so it didn't show.  I also pinned the neckline together at the collar because it felt more structured and supportive that way.

Favorite Rent the Runway find so far! LOVED it and got a ton of compliments at work! 

This was a fun top to wear out!  I didn't wear the shoulder strap as it was kinda awkward.  Loved the off the shoulder look!  Paired with vegan leather leggings and a cute pair of booties!  Casually chic!

This top is definitely interesting and relatively easy to pair with black leggings, camo shorts, and jeans. There is a good amount of stretch, which came in handy for my bust area. The arms are a little snug but I also have an athletic build, and just unbuttoned them for a bit more give. Agree with reviews that you don't need that strap at all and I just left it tucked inside. Didn't love, but it was nice to have something a little different and casual. 

Great top with optional tie that I did not need. Perfect pair with colorful jeans.

I loved the design and fit of this top and wore it with matching jeans as a Canadian Tux. It runs true to size and the unusual shoulders are a talking point. Runs true to size and the belt creates a flattering silhouette.

This shirt was a lot of Jean but it has stretch and comfortable to wear for a night out in Nashville. I wore with leather look leggings and boots. Reviews were right the strap makes no sense. TTS

This top definitely runs big so size down and I agree with the other comments that the thin strap on the open shoulder side is non-adjustable and useless, no idea why it's there. I didn't like it at first mainly because I found it hard to style but after digging into the recesses of my closet, I found this skirt and thought it looked cute. Either rent something to go with the top or have a good idea what you have at home;)

Did not fit perfect. The small arm strap hung too big and kept falling down. I adjusted it to the smallest setting but it could not be untied and the top was not comfortable.

1. Order a size down. 
2. Forget the shoulder tie.

This shirt runs large so size down for sure. I definitely should have gotten a small. It's kinda awkward fitting.  I wore it to dinner only because I rented it and I had it in my closet.  Wouldn't really recommend or rent again. 

I wore this top to a work function in Germany. It was extremely fashion forward while still being appropriate for a casual work setting. The sizing in the jacket was brand new and so the top stood up the way that it should. I chose a headshot for this review so that you could see how well the collar stands up My only criticism is the blue piece of string that is on the jacket. Pro tip: Tuck that string under your arm pit  because the dress will not fall down and create a wardrobe malfunction. 

Loved this piece it was denim but looked like a I lion bucks. 

I didn't mind this jacket/shirt. Denim is lightweight and comfortable. Arms are a little tight. I like the one shoulder look. I thought the front and back were kind of long though.

I fell in love online, but I sized up for fear of it being too small around my wide hips. I didn't love it, but I think it's because it was too big on me. I don't see the need for the ugly exposed strap. It stayed up fine without it, so I just let it hang inside the top.
