I love this dress for work! It's super comfortable, and perfect for the cold building I work in. True to size. The color is red and navy (not black). Sleeves do not go all the way to your wrist. Lots of compliments. Will rent again!

1 star for style and shape. It was sooo frumpy and made me look boxy and squatty. Extra star for comfort. Super soft and warm. But wouldn’t wear this out of the house. Only wore it because it was all I packed for my trip and my jacket covered it. 

Sweater dress that isn't too heavy. I had to wear Spanx to smooth out my tummy. Also the waist is a bit confusing like other reviews say. I couldn't figure out if it was best pulled taut and flat or bunched up around the waist. Regardless it was perfect for a Christmas tea. I wore with ankle white booties and then changed to high top white tennis shoes for casual wear for the rest of the day. 

I needed to wear red for work and this was the perfect dress. Super comfortable and easy to wear. Lightweight knit but still warm enough- good for fall weather. Was not able to wear tights underneath as it was to clingy though. 

The color is wonderful. It's cozy, comfy. It's flattering. A wonderful cold weather dress. Wish I owned it. 

This dress was so comfortable. I wore it for work when I was presenting all day on video and knew I had to  wear something comfortable but still professional. It was perfect for adding a little visual interest without being distracting. As others have noted, the trim is navy.  I loved this and would definitely rent again for work or for fun!

Wore this for work and it was comfy,  but I wish the top was a little bigger so it felt like a shirt tucked into the skirt like the model shows. It could be because my torso is longer. It's on the heavy side, so good foe a cold day. 

I absolutely love the look of this dress but it wasn't quite as flattering on me. It was a little too clingy below the waist line and I felt lumpy. Also might be best to wear a slip if you're going to wear tights as there was a lot of static electricity. The looseness of the top caused it to bunch up above my chest, felt like I had to keep pulling down to smooth it out. 

I had this hanging in the closet for a few days trying to decide whether or not I liked it. 
The waist was a bit large/baggy, I added a thin navy belt to keep the shape
I am typically a 4 or 6, this fit good, size small
If you are more towards the 4, you may want to size down to XS.

This dress is medium-weight knit with a fair amount of stretch. The navy blue lines are like soft piping (they are essentially strips of the same knit material, constructed so they curl). The top is a little bit looser and long, so that it can be folded over as shown in the reference photo. The fabric is very soft, comfortable, and warm. The fit is fairly flattering, but be aware that it does fit closer at the waist and in the lower tummy area (I preferred wearing Spanx with this dress). Definitely worth the rental! 

Dress turned out exactly to be my style.  Very appropriate for work but can worn for dinner out afterwards.  I got tons of compliments and felt pretty and pulled together.  I am a 4 on top & 6 on the bottom and small was perfect; I did have to wear spandex tights.  Also a slip to prevent static cling.  I wore in 30 and 50 degree weather and didn't feel cold or warm in either weather.  Wore with black boots.  Contemplated buying since it's a classic that I can't see going out of style.

I will rent this again. The cut is beautiful. So many compliments. 

You know this is a hit when fashionable real Italians are giving you lots of compliments. Wore it on thanksgiving in Maine and it kept me toasty warm. Not scratchy, would def rent again.

So warm and comfy but stylish and elegant. Loved this dress! Great fit and the overlap of fabric at the waist is very flattering.

Great for winter and spring. I am quite petite so I felt it was a bit too long but you could adjust from the waist. Bright and bold and fun 

I took 1 star for the waist- its slightly awkward  in my opinion, nice light sweater dress- temperature perfectly comfortable ( no to hot/ not to cold), beautiful red- to brighten any day work or dinner with friends

I liked this dress and it was very comfortable and professional.  Very soft too - if you told me it was 100% cashmere I would believe it.  Hopefully RTR will use this review - I have already reviewed this and other rentals but they keep getting lost.  It is giving me a complex!! 

Beautifully made with quality fabric. Waist was loose creating a flattering figure for curves. Received an many compliments. Definitely give this dress a try

Very nice dress, not too hot for office use. Surprisingly not itchy

I really love this dress. It's well constructed, soft and flattering. I wore with white boots. The dress gets tons of compliments. 

I probably should have ordered the XS but it wasn't available at the time. The waist didn't quite sit up high enough in the small. However, it did accentuate my stomach area so maybe it was a good thing it wasn't more clingy.  Semi scratchy but stopped noticing it about five min after I put it on. I only gave it a three because I didn't feel compelled to wear it again.  Somewhat hard to decide on shoes. I went with the ankle tie pumps. 

This is one of the best dresses I have ever rented. So flattering, even on my midsection which is a problem area.  I was stopped by strangers admiring it, it's bright and bold and luxurious, I felt amazing in this dress!  Don't want to return...

I like the material and the color but something about the way the lines hit at the neck was a little weird.

My hubby thought it looked too retro, but I really enjoyed this dress. Very comfortable and quite unique.

I got it with a tag and this is so sweet red color; not too warm but not too cool. Bright and vivid color makes you vibrant. Material is fragile but still looks expensive. I'm pretty short so the length is a bit too much long for me but overall I'm so happy to rent it! Oh, my hubbie said I look like a spiderman because of the upper part of the dress and I can't help agreeing more! Hahaha :)

Very conservative knit dress in red with blue accents. Runs large. I am a size 10 at the chest and size 8 at the waist & hips (5'8", 155 lbs, 36C) and this dress in size Medium felt a bit large. Medium = 10 -14.

This dress looked matronly on me. Would have been better if it was shorter. Also, the top of the dress is made for long torsos. By placing the stretchy waist area of this dress at my waist, I was left with extra material above the waist. 

If you like this conservative look, give this dress a try, but make sure you order down. The material is a high-end knit with the feel and touch of a high-end wool sweater.

Note that this material was very static and clung to my legs. There is no lining. Best worn with a slip!

I absolutely love this dress...so much so, I'm posting a review for the first time. I'm conservative and I like style and class. This dress speaks of style and class. Many people stopped me to compliment me on this dress. Pros: Perfect for a cooler day; comfortable with some room for give (and you can definitely wear shape wear to smooth things out some more); unique. Cons: I can't really think of any. Don't hesitate to rent this dress. If you get the right size, then you will not be disappointed. I'm a size 10 because of my hips. I can wear a size 6 or 8 too, depending on the design. The medium was perfect for me.
