Subtle, yet eye-catching. I felt very cool wearing this 

As should be obvious from the pictures, this is not a dress that fits close to the body or is "flattering" so if those things are important to you this dress is not for you. If you want something tailored and fashionable, it's a beautiful dress. That said, it would be nice if it came in a US 0 because for me the shoulder seams were a little wide for my shoulders and it seemed like those were intended to be traditionally cut, not dropped or dolman. But the pleats are beautiful and the way the dress comes together, half men's dress shirt and half cascading pleats, is unusual and cool. 

Fun and very unique shirt dress. Runs large so size down. As a person who struggles with anything that buttons down, this dress had alot of room in the bust. Dress it up or dress it down!

This dress is unique and beautifully done. The pleats are to die for. It is a very differrent take on the shirt dress.
It runs pretty large...I am usually a 4 but rented the 2 and still had plenty of room left; the style is supposed to not be tight at all.
I wore high heels and received compliments from strangers all day.


Great dress, really nice cotton fabric, pleating, covered buttons. Very stylish! Women tend to love it and men tend to hate it. Based on the excellent reviews, I ordered down by 2 sizes. Next time, I will order down by 3 sizes and it will be perfect. Since this dress has no shape, it probably looks better on taller women and with the sleeves cuffed to show some skin. I am only giving this dress 4 stars because the sizing is so off. But as long as you order 2-3 sizes down from your usual RTR size, it is a very fashion-forward dress for work.

i let this hang big on me. i'm usually a size 6 but sized up. cool dress 

Fashion-forward yet extremely comfortable and flattering. Would buy this one if I could. 

A little boxy, I wore a six and shoulders were good.  Got loads of compliments. I wore with black tights and tall black riding boots.

Boxy but the details make it all worth it. 

Gorgeous, elegant navy dress in very soft cotton. Loved the asymmetrical cut. Its not easy to find a dress that feels like it expresses an idea, but this one, for me at least, did. Will look for it again. 

The reviews are correct. The dress is massive. That said, I was not horrifically offended by the largess because the drape and style limit how wide the volume makes you look. Gone wrong, you would be Violet from the original Willy Wonka, but happily not the case here. Also, happily, it is super lightweight and not prone to wrinkles which are two musts for a summer commute to the office in NYC. Would size down and rent again. 

 *Must note - my dress was a little over-worn and the buttons showed significant wear. Not so bad I felt I could not wear it to work but definitely there.**

Interesting fit, mine had a really strong odor but overall not a bad dress!

I liked the style of this dress - it was comfortable and professional, but it was waaay oversized. 

Great dress, really nice fabric, pleating, covered buttons -- but it is huge!! I generally wear a 6 or 8; have been sizing up lately for holiday parties. I would say to go two sizes down from your lower end or it is a shapeless tent. I cuffed the sleeves (which were way too long and I have long arms) and belted it (which was nice for the cinch but had a weird ballooning effect because the fabric is so nice and thick so it needed to be constantly adjusted with any movement). I really love the dress though and have high hopes for it in a smaller size!

I read the reviews and rented size 8 (two sizes down from mine) and still had room. Unfortunately this style is not flattering on my figure. Did not wear.

Lays nicely however the collar and buttons showed wear and tear.

This dress was fun for one day at work. I only wore it once, mostly because my husband didn't love it. It is very boxy and runs large, so size does for sure. I like dresses like this one, because they hide my stomach, which is my problem area, but it didn't do anything for my shape. It was fun to wear for something different and a little avant garde, but I probably won't rent this one again. 

Pros - great fabric, pleating, general design; loose cut would be great for maternity

Cons - looks like a bag! I feel it could have the pros and still be more fitted. I do sometimes wear a 36 but the way this is cut that would still be way too roomy

Rented this dress due to the interesting cut, shape, and fabric texture differences. Was not disappointed by it. Unfortunately the dress is one or even two sizes too big, so recommend getting a smaller size. 

I really wanted to love this dress but unfortunately I didn't end up wearing it. It was overwhelmingly large and unflattering. I think the style looks feminine and modern so I hope to try it on in a smaller size to see if it looks a little more proportionate on my frame.  

I really liked this dress, but it fit HUGE. It's a baggy fit to begin with, but the IT42 (US 6) didn't fit me anywhere: the sleeves were at least 2in too long (I'm 5'6''), the shoulders were slopey, and there was enough room in the chest for another person (and I am large chested). I wore a belt with it and it sorta worked, but I would definitely size down next time.

Couldn't wear this. The sleeves were gigantic and billowy, not quite what I expected.

On the model, this dress looks so crisp and sharp. In person, it's very voluminous and kind of tent-like. I wore it, but wished I hadn't. It looked sloppier than what I was hoping for, and I could've sized down one or two more sizes. 

I had high hopes for this unique dress but unfortunately the fit is very boxy. No waist definition which small people need! Bummer 

It way WAY to big and looked terrible on me.
