Wore to work and it was cute and comfortable.   

Looks very sharp and comfy. Heavy wool by light enough to wear in summer. Fits true to size. Slight bulge/gathering around midsection if sit or walk. Otherwise awesome and got looks all day. 

This dress is a show stopper. Think Jackie O and Michelle Obama fab, its classic and modern at the same time. Wow the crowd and expect compliments.

I love this dress! It's a heavier wool fabric, so perfect for fall or winter. The white line is actually a slit - while it comes high, it wasn't inappropriate. European clothes tend to run a bit small, so I sized up to a 6/42 and it fit perfectly. It did arrive with a slight odor, but that faded when I removed it from the plastic bag and let it air out over the weekend. I would rent this again in a heartbeat. 

Fits great.  The material is heavier than I expected so I don't think I'd wear it on a hot summer day.  Also, the slit is super high onto the thigh--think Angelina Jolie's famous leg photo! I pinned it to make it work appropriate.

This dress is well made, and fits great. I liked it because it  was simple but still interesting.

I rented this dress through my unlimited subscription and it did not disappoint. It is a sturdy boucle fabric with great nautical details (e.g., leather belt at waist, anchor buttons at shoulders.) Great for fall/early winter. A bit heavy for spring. Would rent again!

Loved this dress. great fit and a fairly heavy material which hung beautifully with no cling.  Style has enough interest whilst still being office appropriate. Some people said the slit was too high but I had no issues with it worn with nude tights.  Will rent this again. 

Originally rented and worn for work. But my 95 year old Dad passed and this was perfect for his funeral- with a navy duster/day coat worn over it. Beautiful fabric - doesn't wrinkle 

I think I would get a size 40 next time . 

This dress is incredibly warm-it was perfect for a cold day.  It is well made with unique details that I enjoyed.  I wore it to my nieces music recital, but would wear it to work, church, or lunch.  I think it ran a tiny bit large but not drastically.

Very thick, warm material - nice to wear with no jacket in the office.  Got lots of compliments.  Was very big on me

Reading through reviews is very important when ordering Euro sizes. I ordered the 42 thinking that it would fit best. I would compare the 42 to a large size 6. There was room to spare but overall, very comfortable! The details make this dress! It was a heavier stretch woven wool/knot (black and blue mini pattern). It was perfect for Christmas Eve service. 

This dress is simultaneously classic and fashion forward. It made me feel taller, slimmer, and very put together. It is also a bit large for size, especially in the waist - I feel like the fit on me would have been ideal had the waist been 1.5-2" smaller, especially since the belt is attached and can't be cinched any (important note: unbutton the belt at the front for getting in and out of the dress, the button hole in the back is, I believe by design, not large enough to get the button through).

This is a great everyday dress for Fall or Winter.  The material (wool) is nice a thick and the slit up the side adds something out of the ordinary to the dress.  The dress had a bit of an odor from the dry cleaning - I think it had something to do with the material of the dress, but I didn't notice the smell the second time I wore it.

Well-made dress with a quality thickness and warmth to the material.  As others mentioned there is a slit in the front of the dress which I thought added a bit of edge to an otherwise conservative look. I wore a collared, long sleeved ivory silk blouse underneath the dress for a contemporary preppy style.  Received tons of compliments and made the dress versatile for colder weather!  Would rent again 

The fit and shape were nice.  I'm an 8 and the medium was a little big.

This dress was perfect for the office. Material is thick and lays well. Slit up the front is interesting without being too revealing. Loved the button detail on the shoulder. Overall fit was great. Very comfortable. Considered buying it but tried it with tights and didn't look nearly as good as bare legged. Limited wear in the winter if can't do tights!

I have been watching this one...but sadly only became available in my size in the spring.   Boiled wool wouldn't fly now, but will rent again in cooler weather


Weird material reminded me of a “sham wow” cloth. It is stretchy and comfortable but I felt like I was in a schoolgirl uniform. I didn’t wear it because it was sent without the belt (it has buttons and belt loops for the belt) and it looked strange with a random button and loops exposed. 

The material is super thick & very warm. Good for winter. Runs a little big and the slit comes up very high. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it to work without tights because if the slit.

This dress is a thicker material than I was expecting, but that worked well for winter. I put a black long-sleeved top underneath and it made for a great work outfit.

It is very well made.  Some of the women in my office came over and wanted to touch the fabric, which is a very rich wool.  It is totally appropriate for work, and very professional.  It is conservative, but not flashy.

This dress is a really nice thick wool so is great for late Fall/Winter.  It did run big and was especially big in the top so you might want to order one size down.  I added a leather jacket to define my waist.  It goes great with boots and I do love the white strip in the slit as it adds a nice fashionable touch. 

Dress came with the tag still on it. Very subtle black/navy herringbone pattern with some cream accents at buttons on left shoulder and slit at right thigh. Flattering and professional and very comfortable. I forgot to take a photo, but did get compliments. :)

I waited a long time for this dress to become available because I love this designer. Everything about it was great except the accent buttons, which are plastic and nautical themed with anchors of the kind on a pea coat. But here they detract from the chic cut of this dress, even though playing up the sailor look was probably the point, bringing a child-like vibe. 

If you are over 5'2" this dress will be a mini.  I'm short in the torso, but there was not a way this dress was going to be flattering on my hourglass, Size 8 body. The White stripe is a slit up the leg, and while I pinned it, there was too much leg showing for my company Kick off meeting.  Disappointed - the fabric was heavy wool/felt and able to steam out the wrinkle.

Slit runs up much higher than expected; I had to pin it to make it work appropriate. Very thick material - ok for a crisp fall day but would not wear in the summer.
