Loved this dress. Wore it to work and it almost felt too formal, but I loved it. Got a bunch of compliments from my coworkers and loved the mix of floaty and structures elements.  

Great color, it's actually navy and black. I wore to wear to work, with flats. I am a bigger girl so it was a bit snug in the chest but not overly so. Was lovely and flowy and comfortable. I would highly recommend.  I received many compliments on the style of it. Looked good with flats for daytime but would be awesome with heels for a more formal look. 

More flattering than this photo would lead you to believe. It hangs nicely and is well-made.  

I wore this dress to an engagement dinner and loved it. It had the perfect shape and was both dressy and modern. The shift shape allowed for much room - great for all body types but the bust area does pull slightly near the shoulders so I recommend sizing up if you have a bust size larger than a B. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

The color in the photo is not great, but wanted to illustrate the different fabric detail of dress.  The overlay is almost like an apron in a dark navy.  Under is a pleated black georgette. This is an awesome dress and one I  regret not purchasing.  True to size but unlike most carven dresses, I could size down in a pinch.  Will rent again!!

I've had some great selects lately with my Unlimited subscription, but this is my favorite! It's so simply yet so chic (without looking like you're trying too hard). Yes, the fit is voluminous (trapeze cut), but it's tres chic that way. It's the antithesis of sexy (my husband asked if it was backwards), but it's the epitome of modern and sophisticated. I wore it with some Ferragamo flats and bare legs (winter didn't affect me since I stayed in my office today). I want to keep this one because I see a lot of cool styling possibilities! LOVE.

Very loose fitting, but doesn't sag under the arms

This dress gave me some issues with static cling, despite my best efforts! I wore it with a fitted jacket because the dress made me feel a little frumpy without some slimming contrasts. 

This dress is great, comfortable but also chic in a subtle way. I wore it with a white button down for work. 

The front navy panel did just kind of flop around when it got windy out, but it just shows off the cute black pleats underneath! 

This is really baggy and really comfortable.  I wore it to work on a more casual day and received a lot of compliments for my female coworkers.  The men didn't like it as much... but I was comfortable! The slip underneath fits true to size and is flowy, but not baggy.

This dress is beautifully tailored with pretty details. There are several layers, some of which are fairly thick, so it's lots of fabric. It's black and navy, which I found versatile. Overall fairly conservative but stylish.

Dress is beautiful!  It is loose but flattering and fits true to size.  I am a size 6 and wore a 38 and it was perfect.

I normally wear a french 38 but the 36 worked on me. The armhole was borderline so if this is an area that is normal small on you you might need your regular size, otherwise size down. The bust fit just right and I'm small so you might need your regular size if busty. It's flattering because if fits through the shoulder/bustline then falls straight down. Easy to wear for a lot of different body types. I'm tall and the length was shorter but no too short to wear. I wore this to work, a performance at my children's school and out to dinner. Works well with a cardigan or leather biker jacket if it's colder out.

Fit is good - not fitted so could be paired with or without belt. Many compliments!

Loved this dress for evening at the ballet with my daughter!

I rented this to see if it would work for a future wedding or party.  It definitely will! I was hoping I'd have a reason to wear it during my rental window but alas, I didn't.  Will definitely rent again for an upcoming wedding as this is easily dressed up or down.  Loved it!  

This ran rather large and a little long/oversized for my height but loved the comfort and the unique details.

This dress is so cool and I felt really trendy in it. It looks really great standing up but when you sit it's a little odd, but I would wear it again. 

Glad I listend to the reviews, definitely size down.  I am a solid size 6, but the size 4 fit perfect.  Wore to work with a long cardigan and then into dinner/drinks without the cardi.  

This dress is just lovely. It looks like a LBD but has a complex structure such that this pretty pleated black crepe peaks out (becomes more visible when you sit) through a slit in the navy silk. The under slip is fitted so I knew I had the right size (I'm between a 4 and 6 in dresses) but otherwise everything was loose. I'd love to own this dress. 

I am usually between a size 40-42 but the reviews were correct it's a loose fitting dress so I went a size down and if for very well. This is NOT form fitting at all thus making it very comfortable. Even with the slip underneath it was still larger. I wore this twice. Once out to dinner which I loved because I could eat a nice steak dinner and still be comfortable and then wore it to work with some high leather boots and it was very work appropriate. The length is great and the material is very classy. Loved this- would rent again. 

I loved this dress. From the front it is looks like a fairly conservative dark navy dress but on the side it has a really fun pleated chiffon material. The opaque lining underneath makes it completely work appropriate. The material is beautiful and the sleeves make it a perfect dress for when you want to up the ante a little bit. I highly recommend. 

really really cool dress. it does run large, usually i'm a 4 in carven got the us 2 equivalent instead, plenty of room around, which is fine. this dress isn't supposed to be tight. loved the blue black, easy to wear either color tight underneath. the blue portion was like a smock and the pleated black portion is a slip that peaks out. really really awesome dress. highly highly recommend. great for work, wore a reg bra, hit a touch above the knee.

I love this dress! It's navy on top and black underneath. There is a slip as a third layer, so it is not as loose as it actually seems. Fits great and everyone wanted to know where I got it from! So cute I wore in with black vans but heels would of made a great date look! 

I wore this twice, one to a formal event and then to work. Got compliments each time I wore it. the fit is a little funny - it is quite big but looks like it is supposed to be, I could not size down because the chest area is not as roomy as the rest of the dress. Not uncomfortable though.

This dress was very comfortable and looks nice on. I probably should have rented a size down, as it was a little more tent-like than I would have preferred. Overall a really nice dress! Would be good for a day at work followed by a night out.

I loved this dress and was super comfortable.  I'm 5'5",size 10/12 and rented the 42, definitely could have gone with the 40.
