Very tight on top but looks nice with a loose shirt. Can be worn to work or an event. Beware of tons of compliments. Looks so expensive and classy!

One thing I didn't realize is the color of this skirt. It is brown and lavender with black and white and bits of gold (not shiny). From the pictures I thought it was pink but it's not! Would go great with any of the accent colors as a solid colored top! Wore it to work with a black top and will wear it again to brunch with a gold top! Pair with black flats for a cute, professional look.

I absolutely love the fact that it had two layers, the two layers didn't detach but it created a very flattering look it also added extra length without compromising the sexiness of it. I received so many compliments, it was hard to find a top to go with it, I ended up hearing it with a white Alice and Olivia crop top to accentuate the white details in the skirt.

Fit is TTS. I got so many compliments on this! It is cute with a tight black shirt, or loose blouse, like pictured. This was definitely an that can be used as a work and post-work skirt. Fun with heels, flats or boots! I am obsessed. Will be renting again for sure!

Really, really beautiful.  It was hard to return -- not because I was wearing it so much as I just liked looking at it hanging up when I came into my room.  

Absolutely beautiful construction and fabric. Wishing I could have this in my normal closet rotation. I received multiple complements and felt fantastic in this. The liner and top skirt portion ride up when sitting, but is fine for behind a desk. I'm 5'3-4", so I would recommend for a petite frame. 

I'm two months postpartum so hiding the remainder of my belly - this skirt runs small and is tight but very flattering. I'm 5'2 and because of my belly the skirt came almost to my rib cage and was almost too short. Either one size up or less belly and it would have been a perfect fit. Pattern is beautiful - a touch of Asia. The quality and style of the ruffle is really interesting. 

This is a high waisted skirt with no give in the fabric. Definitely size up. The pattern and material are both fabulous. Love it!

The floral fabric went down to about my finger tips and then the black underlining went down and once or two below that 

So I love this so much I have to look into it as a keeper for my closet.  So many ways to wear.  The size is true but being high waisted it was a tad snug which made the floral layer ride up so I was fussing to rearrange it.  I will reorder in the size larger just to see but I have a feeling it will be too big as the rest of this skirt was nicely fitted on me and it is flattering to wear fitted.  I would wear a 0 in almost every brand, the high waist though makes the fit a tad different and will depend on your build. 

I rated this as runs small because there is no give. Also, the size on the inside tag (40) did not quite match the retail tag that was still on the skirt (US 8/U.K. 10/IT 44).

The skirt is two layers. The outside is almost like a brocade and has an Asian inspired pattern. The underskirt is sheer black at the bottom but satin at the top; sort of like a slip.

I wore this to work but it could also be for dinner or a party. The colors are black, brown, and lilac.

Beautiful skirt. Wore it to work, casually, but you could dress this up to go out. 

Downside is that the waist runs tight. I needed to layer a button down and tie at the waist to hide the visibly stifling fit. 


I absolutely adore this skirt. It was so small though I wish it worked better. The one strange thing was that the printed part is separate from the drill at the bottom. So I kept tugging on the printed part so that it wouldn't show the slip under neath. Really stands out in photos though

Fancy fabric but appropriate for work. The ribbon waist is tight and tiny. I ordered my usual size, 6 equivalent, but ended up wearing it with the top button unbuttoned. Should have ordered the 8 equivalent. Hard to get it right with European sizes. 

Wore this to a work dinner. I'm a solid 10 in most things and I got the 42. It fit but was snug around the waist. Made me look really slim though. It pairs well with so many top options. The ruffle underneath is so cute. 

Great skirt for work. Good quality and flattering fit. I would choose this again.

Y'all- this skirt was spectacular. After looking at the construction and the fabric it makes perfect sense why this would retail for $500. I ended up sending this back without wearing it because it was a little too short for work- but I'll definitely re rent for a non work occasion.  Yay unlimited. 

I wore this with a turtleneck to speak at a cocktail event. It was a great skirt! 

I sized up to a 42, which worked, but had a little too much breathing room. Wish I went with my usual size 40. And at 5'9" I found it work appropriate lengthwise with tights. 

Runs a little small so I would go up a size if I rented again.

Pros...totally one of a kind, the black trim at the bottom is a fantastic addition, and it is a beautiful work/to evening piece.
Con...the waist band rolls in an unflattering way. If you are standing or behind a desk it is beyond perfect. If you are sitting (I was on a discussion panel) it doesn't fit as well.

I wore this to two work functions and loved it.  The styling and craftsmanship was absolutely lovely.
It does run small.  I normally wear a 6, and this was tight at a size 40.

I usually wear a 6 and some 8s. After reading the reviews, I went with the 40 and it fit perfectly. It is very flattering, especially for someone with a small waist. If you are not, you might want to size up 1-2 sizes.  I would definitely rent again!

This skirt is so pretty and I got a ton of compliments. The details on it are really nice. The fit was a little small though To be fair, I am very pear shaped; I have a small waist but my hips are wide. However, this only fit in the smallest (highest) part of my waist and I spent most of the day tugging the skirt down. I wore it anyways, but by the end of the day, I was glad to take it off because I could feel where it was tight all day. Overall great skirt but maybe go a size up if you have wide hips or wider waist for comfort.

This skirt is super beautiful and unique. The black ruffle at the bottom is slightly sheer, but in a way that is still appropriate for the office (and I work at an office that is a little more conservative than others). My waist is 30" and an 8 or 10 usually fits me. The 42 fit perfectly. I'm 4'11 and the skirt came to just above my knee. 

*THE SIZING IS OFF AS LISTED*. I've contacted RTR a few times about this, but they're sizing for French designers is incorrect. A French 34 is a US 0, not a 2. Size up accordingly. Otherwise an absolutely stunning dressy skirt! 

I'm usually a 0 and the 34 fit but was super tight - I couldn't have tucked anything in except a thin tank top. Gorgeous fabric, well made and the design is beautiful. The fabric part is a different layer so the black part is like a flouncy petticoat.

This skirt is beautifully patterned and so unique. Everyone from my office to out later that night noticed & honestly I'm thinking I might have to keep this one forever.  The fit is really flattering, and the layers of fabric add dimension and interest in the design. & can be dressed up or down effortlessly.

Truly gorgeous skirt. The fabric is stunning, the length is perfect - it's classy enough for the office but has so much personality. The one thing I will say is that it is not very forgiving, I made sure to have a salad for dinner the night before wearing.

Absolutely gorgeous skirt- the detail is incredible! It ran true to European sizing- maybe a little small in the waist, but not significantly so. I received tons of compliments. Highly recommend!

I received compliments all day.  Matched the skirt with a gold tank and a black cardigan and nude heels.  The skirt was very comfortable and had enough structure to be flattering.  Hit about an inch above the knee-perfect length.  Loved the pattern on the skirt and the ruffle.
