Needed a dress for our 40th anniversary celebration.  Hard to find a dress when you're over 60 that doesn't seem inappropriate in some way but this fit the bill.  Its was classy, fit like a glove (but sucked everything in nicely) and was comfortable. Highly recommend. 

This was a backup because my reserve was not available. The stylist was wonderful and really took the time to go through many dresses with me. I am short 5'2 about 150 38D and the 10L was perfect with 3 in heels. I was nervous it would be too long but had many compliments and felt great! 

I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs, wore 2 inch heels. The 10 L was comfortable, easy to move in, and glamorous! Perfect for a winter event. For the first time I wasn’t freezing! The ruching helped flatter my midsection. I was able to wear a regular bra and underwear.

Did not wear. Loved, loved how this fit, covered all the problem areas. But it just wasn't long enough to make me feel comfortable to wear to the black tie gala I was attending. 

The dress fit well and it was comfortable. The color is great, rich and I got many compliments. 

Pros:  old world glam dress, sexy, fitted.  Cons:  delicate -mine had several holes in fabric, runs short - not for tall ladies, and chest/arms are tight

Okay, I am 5'10" without shoes and wear a 4L. I've rented 10+ items from RTR and usually they are short but not noticeably so. Unfortunately this rental was just silly! I have it pulled down as far as possible in the photo and there are still inches of ankle sticking out. If you want it to sweep the floor you probably need to be 5'6" or shorter. Other than that it is a beautiful dress and very comfortable! 

Gown fit perfectly and still comfortable after eating a 5-course dinner. I received compliments throughout the entire night.

This dress never fails me! The best part about it is how absolutely comfortable it is. Yes to looking and feeling beautiful! I wore the 6 Long with 5-inch heels and it was the perfect length. 

The dress felt great and hugged in all the right places. I felt super sexy even though I wasn't showing off any skin. I love dresses that you can actually wear a bra and underwear comfortably. Theres a bit of a train which makes it feel extra glam. I did a bold lip and no jewelry other than a very simple earring. I got so many compliments! Highly recommend. 

My original first pick did not fit unfortunately, this was a back up. It was a beautiful dress and I received many compliments. 

I was most worried about the length after reading other reviews, but with my 2.5 inch heels, it was perfect.  I was able to move about (walking and dancing) effortlessly.  

The dress was absolutely beautiful. It glimmered under the lights and was so elegant. I loved wearing it and was impressed by how comfortable it was. I received countless compliments about it. So well designed and classy. Loved it!

This is an amazing dress that has a very flattering fit. The only problem that I had were the very tight sleeves. If you have slender arms, this should be perfect, though. The long was a touch too long and the regular was too short, even in flats. I wore the long, but had to wear pretty high heels. Another big plus is that you can wear a regular bra with this dress.

This dress was made to show off curves in a good way!  The gold coloring is subtle, not ostentatious and is a sure bet for an elegant evening. My sole complaint is that there were a few holes in the lace sleeves. Luckily, they were very small, and no one noticed. 

I wore this for a winter ball and the color, lace, and long sleeves were a refreshing change from the ordinary. The high neckline and long sleeves make it a conservative pick without being stuffy. I don't think this dress does any favors for the midsection so keep those tummies sucked in! The dress photographs well. Be careful with the delicate lace! 

I'm 5'6'' and I wore flats for the dress to hit the floor just right

This dress was very flattering! The only issue I had with it was that it was kinda short! I am 5'6 and I have never had to order a long in anything, but I wish I would have for this dress! Otherwise it was an awesome dress for my event! I received a lot of compliments and it photographed well! 

This dress is a bit tight across the shoulders, but that's often a problem area for me.  This dress will get you noticed!  Gold and black lace overlay with a "mermaid" shape.  Definitely hugs your curves (in a good way).  The shirring across the tummy area is very flattering.  Note:  I usually wear petite lengths, but wore the regular length in the this dress, and could still only wear very short heels.  If you are taller, you'll probably want to wear flats.  

My mom felt great in this dress all night and loved the flowy hem of this style. She is around 5'5" and this dress just skimmed the floor in flats for her. Just a note for us taller ladies! 

I worry about anything form fitting - but this dress was a hit! I got a ton of compliments, I felt stunning in it, and I could dance, sit and eat during the ball with no trouble. This is a truly flattering dress. I highly recommend it!

Dress fits true to size. I wore 6R. I am 5'5", 125 lbs. I did have to wear 4 inch heels to keep from tripping over the dress. I received many, many compliments. The dress shimmers, much more eye-catching than black. If you're hesitant, get this dress, you won't be disappointed!

Great fit and gorgeous dress.  It had holes in the arms and didn't notice until time of event...I sent a note when returned so hope it gets fixed.  Dress fits my size beautifully and if I were taller or had taller heels I would have had to have gone with the long but it worked great.  I loved being able to wear normal bra and underwear and not have to wear shapewear since it is double layered and wasn't tight.  Great fit for my size (5'7, 145lb. with a large bust)

Wore for my daughters wedding and it was awesome.  Traveled very well - no need to steam.  The gold lace was unique and classy.  Very comfortable - Wore it for hours.  I am 5'7" and wore kitten heals and the length was perfect.  

This was my first RTR experience and I was terrified to get this dress two days before the wedding I was attending. It ended up being a DREAM. I normally wear either size 8 or 10. They both fit nicely and I didn't notice a huge difference is size but the 10 felt more comfortable so I went with that. The sleeves were a little on the tighter side but honestly it made me feel even more glamorous because I felt very tight and toned, so to speak.. 

I received COUNTLESS compliments. The RTR pictures don't do this dress justice. If you have any sort of curves whatsoever this dress will make them pop. It is cut beautifully. Plus you can wear a regular bra, and that's a nice plus when you're jumping around on the dance floor.

Arms were tight, otherwise great fit!  The overlay was more loose than the undergarment, so it flowed with my movements.

The fit was great but super short in the front. Ordered a long but still had to wear a small kitten heel. The dress was still too short even with the small heel. I also felt like it looks better to others. I felt super matronly. But after an evening of compliments, I felt like a million bucks. The hair and make up made the dress stand out. Making it in an almost perfect look. 

The dress fit very well. It did however come with 2 small holes in the right upper most part of the sleeve. I sewed it up... it wasn't too much of a big deal. However, because this could have been worse I think next time I would try my order on at the store in flatiron.

The fit felt true to size. I only have 2 minor complaints -- multiple reviews stated it ran short, so knowing I'd be in heels, I ordered the dress in Long. The dress itself just stated that it was a 6, not a 6L, so I am not sure if it was actually a Long or not. I just know that if it was a Long, I can't imagine what the regular was like as I could only get away with 2 inch heels. My package also did not come with the lock it told me to use when sending back, so I had to use a zip tie. Both issues easily remedied. 

The dress itself was stunning and I received a lot of compliments throughout the evening. I loved how conservative but glamorous it was. And the comfort! What a pleasant surprise to wear a comfortable dress -- no constant readjusting, tugging and pulling -- just fell and stayed in the right spot! I thought it was perfect for a New England winter city formal affair and can say I was very pleased with my first RTR experience. 

Very glamorous. Runs small and short. I'm 5 2 and could only wear a two inch heel. I'm a bigger build though short and it was comfortable yet form fitting. Dynamite from the front and back though my profile accentuated some trouble areas but that's not the dresses fault!   I have a very hard time finding clothes and I'm shocked this worked. I will use rate again. 

There are no cons.  This dress was a home run!  A perfect fit. LOVE.

I will say it was short. I'm 5'5" and I got the regular and had to wear flats. 

This dress wasn't even on my radar.  The dress I had originally rented had been returned damaged.  RTR sent an email alert and Carrie was very helpful in getting another gown selected for me.  The gold on this dress is shimmery and absolutely gorgeous.  I wish you could see the fabric better in the photos.  I wore the dress to a Las Vegas themed holiday event and it was perfect.  The fabric has give.  The dress is extremely comfortable, which is key for me as an event planner.   It also has plenty of coverage, also important since this was a corporate event.  I'm 5'6" and the regular length worked with flats and low heels (ended up in my flats later in the evening.)  There is a small and elegant train in the back - it's the perfect amount of fabric and does not get stepped on.  I have some "junk in the trunk" if you know what I mean, and the ruching on this dress was slimming on the backside.  I included a photo of the back, as that was my favorite part of the dress.  You can wear regular undergarments and the dress has a nude colored lining.  The dress arrived with a 6-inch hole along the seam on the right sleeve.  I called RTR and a like replacement wasn't available.  They offered to ship me another dress, but I loved this one.  I decided to do a temporary tack on the sleeve and wear it anyway!  So many people complimented the dress.  Several told me it was the best dress of the night and there were over 1,700 people at the event!  If you're on the fence, rent this beautiful dress and you won't be disappointed.

I felt it was true to size, if not a little big.  I normally wear a 4 and this was a 2. The sleeves are very skinny. I thought the length was perfect. I am 5'5".

I was so glad when the 10L became available. It fit perfectly. The dress gives a lot so I could've worn an 8, but the 10 was great. Length was perfect with 4" heels. Showed just enough of my shoes. I was originally supposed to wear this for my engagement pictures, but time got the best of us during our shoot, so we took advantage of the outfit and went to take our annual Christmas pictures right after our shoot and everyone was complimenting me in this dress. Very light. Not heavy or bulky at all. I soooooo wish I could keep this dress! This was my 1st time using RTR but I will definitely be back. I can't thank my coworker enough for recommending it to me!
