This dress is a breath of fresh air. It's very comfortable and the perfect dress to add some fun jewels. I would recommend sizing down. It runs large and the ruching effect at the bottom only happens if it's tight around the hips. I am a size 2/4 typically and I rented the XS. I still had to pull the bottom up every so often so it would stay ruched. With that said, I would definitely rent it again. Got lots of compliments!

This looks great, could you tell me what, if any, accessories you rented, and, what designer and style shoes you wore with it, they matched great. Can you tell me if you think this dress would work for a formal dinner/dance?thanks in advance for your help. Loriann

Ps the dinner/dance that I'm considering this dress for , is one where the women wear both gowns and short formal dresses. It's a WestPoint dinner dance and the parents come in both gowns and short dresses and I'm more the dress type so I'll be wearing a dress but I just needed some help in deceiding if this was dressy enough, because I love the dress and adore this color. Just saw your question Lori. I rented the Lee Angel "Tropical Ocean Stone Earrings", which is what I'm wearing. Anything bold will work with this dress. The shoes are BCBGmaxazria. Think they're still in stores, but they had a thin black T-strap attached at the front (which I cut off completely). The clutch was a multi-color (yellows,greens,browns), but it's a vintage clutch. I definitely think the dress would work for a formal dinner/dance. It's pretty much like a blank canvas so you can have fun with formal accessories. Good luck and have fun! 

This dress runs longer than shown on the model... I'm 5'11'' and it hit just above my knees. It might also be considered to run slightly larger. I rented my usual size -S- but the dress was a bit loose in the waist... so maybe could have gone down a size. Not sure... it's a tossup since "too tight" tends to looks cheap. I was ok with it since the rayon jersey is pretty slinky and drapey so it hugged my body. The sleeves are a single layer, but the entire body is double layered with the hem on the fold. This created a nice draped effect with enough coverage on the bodice. The only thing I had to address was the underskirt side seam being visible under the top layer. With a bit of tugging and twisting I got the bottom side seams to match up with the top side seams and all looked great! Even though it's not as easy to wear as some other dresses, I really did love this dress... It's understated but extremely sexy that sticks to and shows all your lady curves. My boyfriend's jaw dropped and he couldn't keep his hands off so that's good enough for me.

If you're not curvy you may wnat to go a size or two down or the rouching effect won't happen.  
In the medium it just hung...so happy rent the runway sends a backup size!

It is lined very well which is great. It is surprisingly not too clingy. The bottom half is scrunched up on the model so you need to keep it scrunched up to have it fit how the model is wearing it. Great dress. Thinking about renting it again for next week. It would help if I was taller.

This dress has simple lines and a lovely drape.  The fabric is very stretchy.  The draping at the bottom was a little awkward to arrange and kept falling down.  It wasn't a major issue, but would probably lay better on a taller woman.  The dress was showing a bit of wear with some snags, especially on the sleeves (the bodice is double layered while the sleeves are single layered), but luckily the draping made them unnoticeable.  

Even with a beautoful necklace this dress washed me out and I have olive skin and brown hair.  It really hugs all of your curves and spanks are visible because it is so short.  

I unfortunately had to send this dress back and exchange it for another. It's very nice, just a little too simple for me!

I do not recommend this dress. I rented it for a literary event in the city. I thought it would look similar to my favorite rental, Cut25's Troublemaker dress, but the fit wasn't great. It was nicely fitted on the top but way too baggy on the bottom. I wound up wearing my backup style to the event and wore this one to work instead so it wasn't a total loss. I dressed it up with a gray/white/beige scarf, white jacket, and brown heels. It looked fine, but definitely didn't have the wow factor I thought it would, which was especially disappointing because this style is more expensive than the style I wound up going with. Usually I love every rental experience but this was the one unfortunate bad seed rental!

I'm not normally a small which is one of the reasons why I thought the medium would work on me (the other reason is because the small wasn't available as a backup size). However, this dress needs to be ordered on the small side in order to fit as shown above. The dress actually seemed a little stretched out, and fell down my legs like a droopy sack rather than in the shirred way shown above. The arms and bust seemed to fit, though, and I'm not big in either of those areas so it was a little puzzling. Not sure if this dress has just seen too many wearings or what, but it didn't look anything like it does on the model or in the other user photos.
