Loved this dress! Very trendy and good thick material. Does run a little tight in the hips, but still felt true to size 

Awesome dress. Thick, which I prefer. Great for a vacation, casual date or weekend wear. I loved everything about this dress, seriously considering buying it. I love the fit - loose, a little boxy but definitely not overwhelming! Sleeves can be rolled up or down, and I tied the belt at my natural waist (the belt loops themselves are more at the empire waist for me). 

Loved the unique cut of this shirt dress. The blend of blue and white striped patterns was also on point 

I ordered a medium as I have a large bum so wanted to make sure it was tight over my hips. I'm usually a 4 but with this belted it wasn't a problem and was more flattering to be on the big side with a cinched in waist then tight in unflattering areas. My work friends loved it too. 
*Only thing is it's very thick fabric so not the best for super hot days in the summer. 

I love this Striped Leon Shirtdress by CAARA. I think it gives off a effortless look. It runs large so I would recommend sizing down. You can wear it with the belt of without the belt. Pairing this with an eccentric show would look great. The material is very nice for a cool summer day.

Pros:
- nice quality construction and fabric
- clean lines and can be dressed up or down
- fit: no button gaping (I'm 34E) and fit nicely in shoulders as if it was a petite size
- fit: length was a good on me at 5'1" (couple of inches above knee
- fit: straight cut felt tailored and flattering without belt on my body shape

Cons:
- fit: straight cut = really tight in the hips on my pear shaped body (FYI I'm 8/10 or 29/30 pants and could just barely button the last buttons). Those with wide hips/bum/belly consider sizing up 
- someone taller might consider it really short

Fit was perfect, length was great. We had a cold snap when I rented this so I only got to wear it once, sadly, but would have worn it more otherwise!

Having rented this CAARA piece twice, I can personally say this dress NEVER disappoints. Worn in-office and on vacation, this shirtdress is incredibly versatile. The belt is detached - Allowing you the option to mix and match belts to fit your personal style. 

I liked this rental but it wasn't my favorite. I love shirt dresses and dressed this up with leggings and boots for work. The pockets and pattern were fun, but the fit wasn't very flattering. It was baggy in some places and tight in others. It was an easy and fun outfit for work but not amazing. 

I asked my friends advice and they suggested wearing it without the belt. Indeed it was a more modern look without the belt

I ordered the small in this dress, might've liked he fit better with the XS. Found it to more shapeless than on the model. But, the material is so comfy!! I loved wearing it all day. Not too thin! It does wrinkle easy though. 

I wore this dress to work and out and about. Even in a small it still looks a tad big on me but that is part of the style. I felt very confident in it and loved the color especially the darker blue back side. 

I rented this for work, but ended up thinking it looked too pyjama-y. I wore it over the weekend instead and loved how comfy it was. Really cute for a lunch date. 

I loved this dress! The perfect mix of pretty and preppy. I paired it with a pair of electric blue suede pumps and silver accessories, which made this a total knock out for a luncheon event I attended.

Absolutely loved! Got so many compliments throughout the day. Easy to wear and very light weight

Cute dress that hits mid-thigh. Only qualm is that mine didn't come with a belt as shown in the picture, so I had to use one of my own. 

Wore it for work- perfect for a summer put together look!

I am a short. If I had belted it, it would have been too short for my taste so I wore it unbelted over jeans sort of like an oversized shirt and I really liked it. Might be a bit short for taller person to wear as a dress. 

Cute dress, great fabric, but unfortunately I could not wear it due to the length. I had ordered the XS based on other reviewers saying it was roomy, but the XS was too short to be appropriate at work and the belt loops ended up somewhere right below my bust instead of at my waist. Would probably look great one someone with a shorter torso, but not for me. 

Did not fit right, could be cute for the right person but didn't work for me. 

If you have a large butt and/or thighs I would avoid this item or size up. It is a box fit 

This dress looked super cute in the picture but there was no stretch to it at all, so when I sat, you could see between the buttons on the lower half. I also had to tie the belt kind of tight because it was way big on top, which then made it bunch up quite a bit. I did get a few compliments but it was less comfortable than it's worth. This is probably better for women with less curvy figures. 

First thing I've rented where I got told it wasn't my dress and I agree. It was both big and small. Shirt dresses are tough for the super curvy and this one was not flattering to the point where my friends were making sure I knew it was going back. The belt didn't help making it flattering. 

It doesn't look great my body shape.,.I do have wide shoulders and 34 D. I do think it will look great on a slender person.

Runs large, especially in shoulders. Didn't get to wear.
