This dress was a nice base. It can be worn with different colors or simply with black booties. Looks cute any way. . It runs large. I went down to an XS from my usual S or M, and I was glad I did. 

I'm consistently a size large but the medium fit perfectly. Such an easy go-to black dress. The fabric and stitching detail on the sleeves is beautiful and really dress it up. I wore this on a date at a fine dining restaurant and probably could wear it to work (though it was a touch short when sitting down for the office - but I'm 5'10")

Wore for happy hour party.  Could wear for casual, party, or work: it's very versatile.

Material is on the heavier side, but feels very high quality construction.

Loved it.  Will rent again.

I loved that it had pockets. It was a really nice length without being uncomfortably short like some shift dresses can be. The detail in the neckline added something cute and fun. One con is that the pockets make the shift flare right at your hips, but overall great dress!

I didn't have high expectations but I loved the thicker material and sleeves. I felt cute all night. The v-neck a little low for work but perfect for Friday Happy Hour. It's been cold and snowy so I was excited to be able to put a dress and tights on with booties for a night out. Will wear one more time before returning (and probably rent again).

This dress runs big but it is very comfortable and great for casual or dressy.

So cute, but not formal enough. I could not dress it up enough for a wedding, even with jewelry, black nylons, and heels. Fit great because I read the reviews and ordered one size down. Will rent again for different event. 

The dress itself is a big baggy and, at first, I wasn't a fan.  But it has some very fun detail on the sleeve and, with the lower cut neckline, dressed up with boots, some striking earrings and a cuff, it was sexy and cute.  I almost bought it.  

Lose style, perfect for those with a belly pooch. Nice fabric. 

This is a pretty dress but it's unlined so it doesn't work without a slip. 

Nothing fancy or unique about this dress. It is very well made and fit nicely. Neckline is low cut for the style and event I was wearing it but nothing a camisole couldn’t fix. 

A little low cut for my chest. Fit nicely everywhere except HELLO! chest and the deep v neck. 

I ordered an XS based on other reviews saying this was so huge. It fit me but I didn’t end up wearing it because the fit didn’t provide that intentional oversized look of the dress, instead it just looked a bit shapeless. The arms were also too short (I don’t have long arms). A size up and it probably would have looked more fashionable. 

Prior reviews mentioned this dress runs large so I sized down to a small and it was too small. Wish I got my normal size (medium) since I feel like it would have fit perfectly ! It's a nice thick fabric. Can be dressed up or down. will definitely try to rent again!


This was definitely more of a sack and not flattering. Definitely could have worn this when I was pregnant. Ended up not wearing. 

I didn't wear it since it's too big. However, this is a nice dress and that's why I still give it a good review. I got the XS but it was too big. If you're petite like me (5 ft, 32 A bust and around 105 lbs) it will likely not work for you. Bummer b/c I was excited about it! Would be great for work (office setting) or for a date!

Only downside was that the v-neckline was slightly low for work, depending on the bra choice, etc. overall fab dress #cocktails #workevent #workwear #work

Great fit but the sleeves were a bit wide at the wrists

Can dress this up and works well from office to evening. Very forgiving fit and relaxed silhouette. I needed a cami under it for work as it was a tad low cut.

This is a good work to dinner type of dress. Fit is larger than I thought so it would be great for those days when you do not want anything binding. Great design on the shoulders and it has pockets. 
Paired it with neon yellow pumps for a pop of color. 

I sized down.  Once on, it gave me somewhat of a 60s-babydoll-dress vibe.  For it to be cut so loose and simple, it was still very much a cute piece.

I love a shift and a style without a waist, generally, but this was too much volume.  Maybe it just runs large, but I felt frumpy, not flattered, in this.  My husband said "it looks like something you'll wear in 10 years" (I'm 45).  Returned without wearing.

This dress runs extremely large. I am a size 4 and this dress fit like a 14. I can't imagine it working even for someone twice my size. It's baggy (I understand what shift is and this isn't it) is  sleeves are way too loose, the tight wristlet makes it even more awkward. Buyer beware!

Runs very large.  I ordered the large and would rent this again but size down.  It looked like a tent on me.
