A classic sheath with a fun twist. The color of this dress is amazing! You'll stand out in a sea of navy and black suits, while still being conservative and work appropriate. Great length on my 5'3 frame and fit is TTS. HOWEVER, just don't plan on lifting your arms very high, or keep them bent for long period of time. Sleeves are tight with no give and hit right at the elbow crease, so bending for long periods of time can get uncomfortable.

Wish I had sized up.  I am between a 6 and an 8 and a small and a medium and I have a smaller too have and larger bottom.  I could get it zipped but it was too tight around the mid area to be comfortable out in it.  I could see my belly button poking out.  I loved the color and the neckline though.  Would try it again sometime with a larger size.  

This dress fit like a glove. Definitely slightly smaller than you'd hope, order 1 to 2 sizes up based on your level of comfort. The arms are pretty tight but cut of the neckline is classically feminine. Critical Note... this dress is nearly impossible to zip up if you're alone. 

Classic fit and material by this designer. Color is professional but still different; length is perfect and fit is flattering.

Love this brand and the dress cuts. The fabric wrinkles but it's stunning and perfect for work in winter. Will wear again!

The color is absolutely stunning. Rent it if you don't mind being the center of attention. 

The dress is lined with a zipper down the back. The neckline is extremely flattering. The fabric is beautiful but not at all stretchy. And so on my pear shape, the dress fit my hips beautifully but I had a bit of extra fabric in the waist, which made the front of the dress pucker.

Loved LOVED the color and style. But the dress does run small (I'm a true 6 on the smaller side, and this was snug), and the back slit is HIGH (especially if you're tall). The back zipper is also stiff and the chest/arm area is snug. So only wear this is you have someone who can zip you up. And, if in doubt on size, order up.

Beautiful dress and perfect for a cooler summer day in the office. Love Black Halo dresses, but be wary that this runs small (though true to other BH dresses I've rented).  I average a size 6 in most dresses but definitely glad I followed others advice and rented a size 8 in this one!

This dress hugs perfectly. It looks sleek and professional. The material is nice and thick and stays where it should. Would wear again. Bottom tends to wrinkle but can be steamed out. 

Beautiful top for but too short for me (5'8") for a formal work environment. Split too high, probably because my bottom is more size 10-12 while my upper body is 6-8 and I wore 8. If you are not too curvy or tall this will look amazing. 

This is a classic size 12 fit, - I'm 5'11" and a 34DDD. I think it's true to size and easy to wear. I've been stopped multiple time at the office today with people complimenting the fit, color, and professional girl power look of this dress. I can't afford to buy it today, but will definitely be keeping it in mind as a favorite to rent again. I feel amazing today. 


For a 6, it was very body-hugging, but if zipped up and looks fantastic on. The length was perfect for work

Black halo dresses are beautiful but run small in the shoulders, sleeves and waist. and this one is no exception. I sized up to a 6, but realized the skirt section is not as form fitting...however, still a nice dress and I got compliments on it. 

I'm usually an 8, but the 10 was too tight in the stomach (where I carry my weight) and loose elsewhere. I couldn't wear it even with Spanx. Nice quality dress and pretty color but it just didn't fit me well.  

This dress was really pretty, I was able to make it work but runs small. Great length for tall girls!

Wore this dress for work! It's an amazing color. The fit is a little strange in that the arms are tight, shoulders loose and stomach/hips loose too although chest fits perfectly. I would absolutely size up for this one as it's true to Black Halo form and is a bit small! 

Pretty color and nice quality fabric with a lining.  I was able to make this work once I put a blazer on it. I wouldn't recommend for shorter women - the length was long, which was okay, but the neckline and shoulders were way too wide for my frame. Would look great on a taller woman.
