This dress was comfortable and didn't require shapewear for it to look good. The slit is high and centered when you sit, so be mindful of that - I ended up pinning so I could dance and sit without having to think about it. 

Fun to wear but need help putting on, it's complicated 

Loved it! It was very comfortable and I felt very classy. Lots of compliments. Just beware, the slit does go pretty high. I was wearing spanx that had shorts, so it didn’t really matter, but I was pretty alarmed at first.

The long length was perfect for a kitten heel. The dress was flattering and comfortable. The slit does go up pretty high so just be mindful of that when you are walking or dancing!

Absolutely love this dress. It felt like a glove little cheeky with the side zipper but it ended up working out perfectly for a winery wedding guest. I was able to wear flat sandals, which was a plus! If you’re on the fence about it, rent it.

I wore this to a company gala in Orlando. The fit was very flattering and comfortable. Slit is pretty high when seated. I got lots of compliments. I would rent it again. 

This dress was a bit tight in the waist while being a loose in the top and I'm a pear or hourglass shaped, but it was beautiful! The slit was also a bit high when seated so be careful but I got loads of compliments!! I would wear it again. 

I chose the dress for a black tie affair and it was the perfect length since I’m only 5’4” and 125 pounds so the 4P was just right. A great first experience with RTR And I will definitely be a repeat customer!!

I am 5'8" tall. I weight 125 lbs. 32B-27-36. The size 2 dress fit perfectly. I love the fabric. It photographs great! 

Absolutely loved everything about this dress! Wore it for a photoshoot and I want to keep it to wear to date night and other events I have. I may end up buying it. It fits perfect and o got so many compliments!

Really liked this dress. Wore to a black tie optional wedding. I wore the 2P and it fit nicely- definitely some room in the top (Im a 34D), so perhaps a better dress for fuller chested folks. No bra was needed which I appreciated :)

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding! I typically wear I size 12, but I waited too long and it was sold out, so I got a size 10R and 12L. The 10R was tight and I didn’t feel like being uncomfortable all night, so I went with the 12L and wore higher heels. I’m 5’4” so it was still long but I wasn’t tripping over it. The 12R would have been perfect. Very unique neckline; got lots of compliments and felt great!

I wore this dress to officiate a formal wedding and couldn’t have been happier. The cut is asymmetrical and modern at the neck with flattering and comfortable draping. I got a lot of compliments. 

The slit is high, but it is sexy! Lots of compliments on the dress!

Loved the neck line of the dress. It's different than your normal LBD. I would rent again.

The underlying layer of top of the dress was a little big, but easily remedied with just a safety pin, and since it had the higher neck that went over it, nobody could tell. It was a little short, so flats were not an option. I get very claustrophobic with tight things around my neck, this was big enough to not bother me at all. And as a bonus, I didn't have to try to accessorize a necklace. The dress was for a formal event and was perfect. It felt very modern and was comfortable. The slit in the front requires a little attention so as not to flash the entire room, but I did not find it troublesome. I highly recommend this dress!

Natural waist does a lot... gives this black staple some shape for those not wanting to wear something not tight or shapeless. 

Felt like a goddess. I am 110lbs, 5'1" with a very small chest - got a size 2 & I did have to clip the inner part of the bodice, let's call it, the inner layer of the top. I did a gentle fold and clipped with a bobby pin to not damage the dress! And it was perfect lol. The length was also great with 2 inch heels (pictured). Super comfortable, good weight. You DO need to steam this, it wrinkles during shipping pretty bad. Be prepared for that :) hope everyone rents this!

I loved this dress, I thought it was a creative spin on a classic black tie dress. I got a lot of compliments. It hides a lot, no spanx nor bra needed. I will say it was a little tight around my stomach, but nothing that made me uncomfortable or would be seen. The slit is HIGH when you sit down. I had to hold it when I sat or put something on my legs to cover it. Be warned, it's a bit unruly. 

Really pretty. I rented the 2, as 0 was not available. Fit true to size. Was a little big on me, but perhaps more comfortable at the waist as there is a zipper and no give. 

Beautiful dress. Made well. Very comfortable. The silhouette is a little edgy, but is still very formal and modest. 

Wore this for my president’s club awards ceremony. I will say, I ordered my initial size 2 based on the recommendations & measurements but it was way too big (caused the one side to keep falling down & show too much boob). I reordered a size 0 and it fit perfectly. Super comfortable, great dress. Got lots of compliments.

The slit was higher than anticipated, so maybe not the best for a night full of dancing- but fit great and felt very chic

This dress is a total stunner. Gorgeous lines and fit. Drapes beautifully after a steam. Used fashion tape to keep the under layer affixed given small bust. Would rent again for a formal occasion. 

My normal size was huge in the chest but it was really easy to safety pin -- right up front, under the drape. The cinched waist gives it a great shape while the rest is loose and comfy. Warning that it is long, I'm 5'9" and accidentally dipped the back in the cat fountain getting ready :)

Never felt so pretty! I ordered both the size 6 and 8, as I am a size 6 jeans post partum and my cup size increased too so I wasn’t too sure what would fit. The size 8 fit perfect and wasn’t tight. Was easy to dance in and so flattering!

This dress fit so perfectly I ended up buying it! Definite upgrade compared to the usual LBD. The lines are so interesting…it really stands out in a crowd. The slit is quite high, but not so high that I was afraid I’d be flashing people. I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten so many compliments in one night!

I’m obsessed! The fit and length were perfect with heels. I was able to dance all night without anything slipping or moving. The slit is high, so be warned while sitting. Overall, it is a very flattering dress and I can’t wait to rent this dress again.

I rented this dress for a formal wedding at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. If you have a wider rib cage like me size up. I went with the larger size and it was still tight. There is no stretch to this dress at all!

True to size. Only issue is when sitting down the slit goes up really high. Good length for petites.

So many compliments on this dress! I wore it to a formal work dinner gala. It’s fun and cool; classic yet funky. 
The slit in the front is pretty severe, especially sitting. There is risk for exposure if you’re not mindful. The top part around the bust fit loser than the rest of the dress so I had to do a little tape to keep it in place.
Overall I really like the dress and would rent it again.

The dress was a bit snug at the waist. Other than that, it was a good fit and length (I’m 5’2”). The structure of the dress is original and fun, however, it’s not a stunning dress. The bodice of the dress is boxy and a little big. 

I wore this to a semi formal wedding and received so many compliments!!! I ordered a 6L and an 8R and ended up going with the 8. The 6 was perfect in the bust (34DDD), but a little tight in the hips. I’m 5’8 and the 8R was perfect w heels. I will say, the split was a little high when sitting down, but otherwise it was perfect. 

Love the overall fit of this I got so many compliments as it has such a unique neckline!!! 

Perfect. I have a smaller chest and that’s the only place it was a little loose. I wore a strapless bra with chicken cutlets and liked how it looked. Would’ve probably been fine with just bra. It would drag so pay attention to your height and your heel height. 

This dress is every bit as stunning and flattering as it looked on others’ reviews. I did need to fashion tape the top shawl so it laid just right across my chest, and the bottom slit is SO high when sitting, I wore black shape-wear shorts underneath. Size 8 was more roomy/comfortable but too large up top (even with a DD chest), so I opted for the 6.

This dress was so classic, yet unique with the design of the top being different. I got lots of compliments on this dress!

This dress is very cool and looks great on! But, I couldn’t wear to the wedding I rented it for because the bottom is a wrap and opens up pretty far when you sit or plan on dancing. I do have larger hips, so may work for someone with a slimmer or athletic build.

Such a fun dress. I loved it and felt very sheik in it. 

A go to classic for a more formal occasion. The only call out I have is that the bottom of the dress is a true wrap so there is more leg exposure than I was anticipating when seated. Also, I sized up for the bust and it fit great. 

Flattering but big on top had to pin. It also has a high slit which makes it hard to sit and dance. 

Easy and comfortable for an evening out...didn't have to worry / stress about appropriate undergarments
