Loved this dress, as I love all black halo dresses, but this one was definitely restrictive. The arms and all over are cut right, and the material does not give much. The 2 fit me, but I didn't have much room to move! 

This dress is the perfect combination of work-appropriate and gorgeousness. Would highly recommend for anyone with a work event. 
I’m usually in between size 2 and 4, but in Black Halo, I always choose 4 as it tends to be a little tight in the chest otherwise. 

Loved the color of this dress, I have blue eyes and it really made them pop. I'll agree with other reviews that the opening at the bottom made it hard to make a long stride and to get in and out of my car between meetings. It was also snug across the shoulders. That said, I don't need to do aerobics in my work clothes, so having a great fit outweighs mobility. I also liked the placement of the belt as I feel it drew my waist in while also enhancing my hips. Great camouflage for lower belly. 

It was kind of hard to walk in, but I loved the color. I'm usually a 4, but the 6 fit perfect. 

But --- I always go up one size. This one was a bit different and while I liked it a lot, I didn't love it. The belt in front came loose so not the most amazing look. 

This was a tight dress. The fitted darts on the chest made it look weird. I used tape and a pin to secure the belt in place and keep it straight. Was okay to wear for the day. 

Great dress for a day at the office. Nice color and fit. A little tight around the bottom so if you have to climb stairs it could be challenging 

The dress needs a slit at the bottom. Be prepared to walk with a very short stride. The belt is a fun addition but does not stay put. 

TTS with some give but no stretch. The most striking detail about this dress is THE COLOR. People were commenting on it all day at work. It really is a unique hue - not quite green and not quite teal. Be prepared to have to steam this when you rent as the fabric wrinkles easily - totally worth the effort.

Very fitted. If you are traveling alone it takes a bit of flexibility to get zipped. Fully lined. It does gap a bit at the small of the back. Very comfortable even with being fitted. When getting up from being seated, had to adjust each time by pulling down at the hem line. I'll definitely rent again. 

Gorgeous teal-leaning green with a sassy belt and good tailored nips and tucks. 

I rented this for work. I liked the color and the fit, but I wished the material had more stretch and wrinkled less (though I think the wrinkles look worse in my picture than it did in person). Since there is no slit, I found it difficult to walk upstairs. Shoulders were also a bit constricting.

Received so many compliments, but dress was not stretchy at all. Fit very snug even in a larger size, so I couldn't move too freely but..... it looked so nice, that I was able to forgive a bit of the discomfort.

Great cut, gorgeous color. Plan to take teeny, tiny steps. The bottom is so fitted, it is difficult to walk.

The arms are super tight on this one I sized up and it was still super tight for me. It's a pretty dress but it's a challenge to move your arms around! 

I really liked this dress. It was very flattering. It was just too small in the arms and waist/hips. 

Ugh - such a pretty dress but even sizing up two sizes didnt fix the arms issue. Runs unbelievably tight in the arms - would skip this one unless you're very petite. Size up for sure!

The dress looks great, once you have manage to put it on.  I am a little wider in the hips, size 4 or 6 in Black Halo are my best fit.   With this dress, I could barely get the skirt over and pass my hips.  And not much width and freedom in the step.  When crossing the street with few second left in the Walk light, I couldn't pick up my pace without looking super silly with my tiny steps. All in all, looks great but feels uncomfortable.  

Couldn't even get my arms into this - probably need to order up at least one size. Super bummed bc I wanted to wear it - will try again with a different size 

I couldn't even get it zipped. Was way too small especially in shoulders and chest.

I'm usually a size 6 but this dress was so small. I rented the 6 but it felt like I was wearing a size 2. It is of amazing quality and the style of it would be perfect for a work setting, but just make sure you order a size up.

Good dress for work but belt was a little weird where it fell on the hips

The fabric and color of this dress were wonderful. I thought the tight ran really small, in the arms and chest. I am not super busty and have a small upper body. If I had gone up a size I think it would have been too big in the waist.

Ordered 2 sizes up based on comments and could still hear my organs crying as I tried to squeeze into this one. There is limited stretch and the sizing is…off. If you’re usually a 6/8 like me and would like to preserve your dignity, go up to a 12. At least. I did not wear. Got the zipper halfway up before I decided I like to breathe. 

Size at least 1 size up, possibly 2 or forget it
