This was amazing. I was able to wear with a strapless bra with plenty of support. The way the fabric laid was so flattering and hid the tummy well. I loved the long length and the high slit. This is great for a holiday party or any winter party. Just so chic! I paired with a faux fur jacket from RTR and it was a hit. Paired with black booties and got so many compliments. Try this for your next winter get together.

This dress is gorgeous!   The photos do not do the beautiful wine color justice.  It’s so soft and great quality.   If you’re short - you will need to wear heels.  

Loved the feel of the fabric - overall shape and fit were fine, but the straps were too long to feel comfortable on the size 2 so I went with the size 0. Straps also are set wider than any of my bras so I went with pasties instead.
Slit was cut too high for my comfort so I just made sure to compensate while walking stairs or sitting. Probably fits better if you're not as flat chested as me. I normally wear size 4-6 pants, small-medium tops, 4-6 dress size, but after reviewing the comments I chose size 0 & 2.

I am normally a size 10 on top because of my larger chest, but 8 fit me better with the stretchiness of the fabric. Strap length was perfect for my longer torso. Length was great, worn with 3.5in heels, but still wasn’t stepping on the bottom when barefoot.

Loved this dress, material was perfectly warm for a winter wedding but still stretchy for the dance floor. I wore it with 2” heels which caught the dress skirt a couple times, would’ve been better with taller heels. 

I wore this to a charity ball, and I felt beautiful in it!! I’m 5’2” and the fit was perfect. The rouching in the midsection was super flattering. I wore a sticky backless bra with it but really didn’t need to.

No need to wear shape wear. This dress is stunning and super comfortable!

Loved. It’s flattering, comfortable, and photogenic. I only wish I knew that the leg slit is so much higher than it looks—I was holding the dress closed over my upper thigh during the church service. (It’s not gaping when you’re walking around, unless you want it to be….!)

Fit like a glove - form fitting without being super tight, the way that the ruching falls still made it super flattering! Definitely plan on some sort of bra though as there’s no extra padding/support in the chest 

I loved this dress the moment I put it on. It’s so flattering, comfortable, and has some stretch. The length was perfect for my height. 

Fits true to size. Be mindful of the slit when you’re sitting otherwise it’s great! Wore it to a black tie wedding but could be dressed down. Not thick so great for fall time

Material is a nice, heavy velvet. It definitely would have been too hot for peak summer, but was great for a start-of-fall wedding where the high temp was about 83F and in shade. I’m 5’2 and with some small heels, the dress fell just to the floor. The rouching was very flattering. Overall, I’m very happy with this dress. I wish I could add more than just one photo.  

Absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for a black tie wedding. The material was soft and stretchy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something elegant and comfortable.

I loved this dress! I’m 5’7” and the dress was the perfect length for 3” heels. The material was very soft and stretchy enough that I could wrap it around my legs when I sat (because it was cold outside) even with the slit. It was also nice that I wasn’t worried about wrinkles at all because of the velvet material, and didn’t have to iron. I did have to lint roll because the dress picked some white lint from the bed after I laid it there. I would definitely rent this dress again or recommend it to others. 

I didn’t end up wearing this because I liked another option better, but it fit really nicely and seemed comfortable! The velvet is really soft. I’m 5’7 and between 155-160 lbs. It isn’t floor length when you wear tall heels at my height, just to note. 

Got compliments all night. I want to buy this one.

This dress was so flattering and fun to wear to a formal concert. I felt like a 40s movie star.

I rented this gown for a black tie wedding in Washington DC, and it was the perfect item for the event. It was the perfect length. Not too long not too short. The size was spot on and the color was lovely. I would be aware that the color is a bit unique and would not complement many shoe colors. It’s not maroon or purple. Somewhere in between. I’d recommend buying a matching (which I found) or nude shoe if you are going to rent this dress - other than that detail, I highly recommend this for formal events.

The straps were strange so I tucked them. Outside of that it’s a decent dress. Very stretchy and comfortable.

Wore this to a formal benefit dinner and got several compliments! I’m 5’2, 105lbs and the small fit perfectly around the waist but was about 3 inches too long as you can see in the photo. The straps are not adjustable and were about an inch too long. Still lovely!

I'm usually a 0 or 2 and the 0 fit perfectly. Very stretchy and forgiving after a big meal! 

I wore this to a Valentine’s Wedding in Miami. It was perfect and comfortable. My right strap kept falling so sometimes I wore the straps up and sometimes down.  The second picture was a back up dress, Sirene Dress by L’IDEE. (Sorry horrible lighting and picture of a beautiful dress).Everyone thought the pink dress would be the one but when I put the velvet dress on, it was the winner.

Loved this dress for a Valentine’s date with my husband.  Fits TTS with some stretch.  Slit was sexy but not over the top.  Made my waistline look snatched even though it was so comfortable!

Comfy, warm material, good fit, but not my favorite neckline for myself. I don’t think the square neck was doing me any favors, though it does look great on some people!

I got this dress as a last-minute replacement after my initial rental didn't fit correctly and I am very happy with how it turned out. The material was stretchy and hugged the body comfortably, but it felt thick enough that I didn't wear a bra underneath. This dress would be best for folks on the taller side; I am 5' 4", and even with heels, I had to pick up the bottom of the dress so it wouldn't drag on the ground outside.  Overall, I got a ton of compliments on this dress, and I think if you have an hourglass figure or a bigger bust, this dress could beautifully complement it!
