Super snug in an 8. Looked amazing. Very thick fabric so you don't need Spanx. Sleeve hem long so I just folded up and worked well. Will rent again. 

Thick but totally breathable! Felt very comfortable in this. Not as sparkly as it seemed in photos but still cute. 

Very form fitting, almost like a pencil dress. The 8 fit me well, 5'6, 135 lbs. felt a little tight at times but I liked the length for sitting and walking upstairs. Great pick for a cold weather event. 

Was snug but not sure if it runs small or ive gone up a size lol. Tons of compliments. Beautiful fabric, fit and pattern let's you play with many colors in chose burgundy to pop!

Material and colors were perfect. The bottom of the dress was a bit snug for this hourglass, no back slit. Very flattering, would order 1size up for my body shape.

Pretty damn tight, with spanx panty hose and black heels this dress was a killer - waist wasn't defined (for all that small size) so I added a thin waist belt and got tons of compliments 

This fit great and looked good. The only problem is that there's no slit in the back of the skirt, which makes it a little difficult to walk as it shortens your stride.

This dress is a nice dress for work but if you have an hourglass body, the dress gaps at the waist and the material folds over. I would recommend this dress for those that do not have an hourglass figure. 

I just can't understand why the sleeves are so long!
You would have to roll them up. Weird.
Lovely cold weather fabric and winter print, but the dress runs ultra small.

I love this dress and have rented it multiple times. But it is a very strange fit. Really tight across chest for me but yet big in the shoulders. Sleeves are quite long too. I have to wear a fur vest with it to disguise the oddness of fit. But it's got nice stretch and the subtle pattern is lovely. It's a go-to holiday dress for me 

I really liked this dress, and I received compliments. It was a little tight on my hips (hourglass figure 38-29-41), but I don't think I could size up considering the waist. It was comfortable, but I had to pull it down several times during the day. If it weren't for that detail, I would have probably purchased the dress.

I'm usually a 4 or 6 in dresses, and rented an 8 because other reviews said this ran small. Wish I'd gotten a 10! The 8 fits but there is absolutely zero stretch and the neckline kind of chokes. It's too bad because it's very flattering and a great look, but very uncomfortable.

The dress it great. Runs small, so size up to get a great fit. Nice thick fabric. However, the bottom has no slit and is tight...which means when nature calls, you gotta unzip and take the dress down and sleeves off-so that's a pain in the ass. But really nice dress otherwise. 

This was very tight on hips and butt. I typically wear a 4. This was not as stretchy as I expected and not comfortable to wear to work. I'd order a larger size next time if I ordered again.

I really wanted to love this dress, but it is made for very narrow hips. I ordered up and it fit perfectly on top but was extremely snug on the bottom. Got through one day and sent it back!

I have worn other Black Halo items and am a size 4 in those. I tried this dress but it was uncomfortably tight. I did not end up wearing it. I should have gone up one size and would consider renting again but the size is not currently available.

I rented my usual size and it wouldn't go past my hips. There is ZERO stretch in this dress. 

Loved this structured dress and received many compliments. The long sleeves were a nice change and surprisingly they were not short or snug on my 5'9" frame.  I wear a 4 in pretty much every dress on RTR except Black Halo. I always size up to a 6 in this brand and it fits perfect.

Beautiful dress! It was just a little snug but not where I felt like I couldn’t move or uncomfortable. If you’re between sizes, definitely go up. I highly recommend!!

After sizing up, this dress fits beautifully. The fabric is high quality with a great pattern. It was flattering in all the right ways. 

Very form-fitting and flattering. Pretty tight but still work appropriate. Love that it has long sleeves and is thick enough material for cold weather when paired with warm tights and boots.

If you go between sizes, then get the larger size. 

Loved everything about this dress.  Fit true to size and I felt sucked in and comfortable even though the dress was tight.  Shoulders have a little great detail.  Looked good with tights and booties for the office and event after.

Unfortunately it was too small, but beautiful dress with a great material. 

I really wanted to wear this but it was too small. I'm going to get it again in a size 6 because I think it's well made and quite form fitting. Conservative but also fun for a night out.

This is a very elegant work-appropriate dress, but I didn't end up wearing it because it runs small and I felt like I'd have to take it off every time I used the bathroom. The fabric was thick but more comfortable than I'd expected. 

I opted for a size 4 in this dress based on reviews, but it is definitely tight, wearable, but tight. I almost always wear a 4 in most brands with the exception of Reformation and HVN where I wear a 6. If you like stuff tight, stick with your size, if not, you may want to size up. 

Really high quality, multiple levels to the fabric print. Will hug your body so maybe size up for the office

Great cut. Thick fabric. A little too tight in expected size.
