This dress is probably one of the most stunning dresses I've ever seen and/or worn. It is intricate in design and unique in every way. It is heavy (perfect for Fall/Winter events) and you can tell that it was made very well. This was the replacement dress that RTR sent because the one that I had initially chosen to wear to my rehearsal dinner had a stain on it. I'm so glad that they suggested this as I don't think it's a dress I would've normally picked for myself. It fits true to size and falls right below the knees (perfect cocktail length - very classy). I was a little nervous about the sleeves because I thought I would find the material itchy, but it didn't bother me at all. There is no stretch so keep that in mind when renting. Overall, I highly recommend! You will receive compliments and turn heads all night!

This dress was snug in my chest but most dresses are. It was a bit warm at the start of the evening but was pretty comfortable as the evening cooled down. I wore this to my daughters outdoor wedding in the mountains. It worked well with her 40's Hollywood glamour feel. 

This dress is very delicate but fits well. It is pretty unique so perfect for an art benefit or cutting edge event. Tight in the arms and chest. 

The dress is fantastic , worth every penny.  Not for outside on hot day. 

I am normally a size 2, but Bibhu Mohapatra usually runs small and narrow, so I was afraid this dress would never work, because I am pear shaped, so I sized up to a size 6 and it was workable. Not too snug in the hips and ok in the waist too. I am petite, so it was too long for me - tea length, not knee length (mid-calf). No problem, double sided fashion tape to the rescue! I ran a ring of clear fashion tape around the entire hem and tucked it up by 6", leaving no slit in the back.  It was actually really easy to fold up neatly along the "rungs". When I got home after the party I gently removed the "hem" with no problem. You have to wear it with a strapless bra. If you are tall and thin, definitely rent this dress. 

the sleeves and shoulders were on the tight side (and I'm tall and slim) and it was a little stiff and scratchy - but a one of a kind dress that stood out!

Lovely dress but the material was very heavy, the torso was long, and the sleeves unusually tight. 

I received very many great comments about the dress.  You can't wear a bra with the dress but the the dress will support you properly.  It was a success.  I would purchase this dress.

I really wanted to like this dress but did not end up wearing it. It is very well made (though the piece I got was somewhat worn with a few lose threads etc). The fit did not work for me- would be better suited for an athletic/straight body type. The dress was very tight around my hips and loose around my bust. 

This was one of the choices I selected for a party and I did not wear it because it was super tight around the hips.  If you order it, DEFINITELY order a size up.  It's also kind of heavy (which was surprising), but once I had it on, it was kind of pretty.  Had it fit me better in the hips, I might have opted for it, but I chose my other RTR rental instead.

No stretch in arms and extremely tight. I have very thin
arms and couldn't wear this - neck was too small too. Made for very petite person. Just ok fabric, but if the right size, tailoring would likely make it flattering.
