Sequin Stardust Gown

The fit was a little snug in the breast area (I'm a 40DD) but the overall fir was perfect! I ordered both the 10L (first choice) and 12L (backup). I love that you get a 2nd size for free, because I ended up wearing the 12L. The length was perfect if you wear heels 5 inches or higher. I wore 6 inch heels and my shoes were not visible.

The dress was beautiful and I received many compliments! The only thing I didn't realize was that the dress had sequins on it which I am not normally a fan of. Altogether, the dress was definitely a success and I would rent it again, sequins and all!!!!

This was the fit for me. Fit comfortably, no problems with rubbing under the arms. Nothing was snagging. It had everyone's eye. It was PERFECT. I wore a size 4R (should have done a 4L), with a 3 inch heel (tried the 3 1/2 heel and it didn't jive with the 4R). It all worked out and worked great. I will definitely do this again!!! Perfect for Nola ball. Danced the night away. A little snug at first. But, glad I got the 0 since it stretched out a bit and then for perfect.

The dress fit like a glove. I could have worn a regular length, because the long was about an inch to long. I received compliments all evening on the style and color.

I wasn't wearing my heels for the pictures, and when I put them on (3 inches), this dress was the perfect length for my 5' 3" height. Fit was true to size. There is just something about sequins for New Years Eve. Beautiful dress!

The dress had so much sparkle and hugged all the right places. The 0R fit slightly loose and too short with my 4 inch heels, but the 2L, surprisingly, fit snug and was the perfect length. The small train added that much more to the dress.

My daughter and I both rented this dress for our annual family photo. The dress looked fabulous on both of us and showed beautifully in the pics! The dress fits true to size, though a bit snug through the bust if you have curves.

The dress was true to size. I'm almost 5'3, so I'm on the cusp of needing a petite. I m a DD cup, but didn't feel the need to wear a bra. There is a corset inside. The wire poked at me a little though. With heels it fit perfect, maybe a tad short. Great first RTR experience! I got tons of compliments on the dress. At the end of the night I noticed a lot of little attaches on my forearms from the sequins. I wouldn't let that stop you from getting this dress though!

I got this for my dress change at my wedding. Every one was floored when they saw me in it. They kept telling me i looked like a movie star! I was nervous about this dress because i have wide hips and still have that mommy pooch from having a baby but this made me feel great! I wore a 10L and it was perfect length with some wedges, dragged a little behind me which made it a dramatic look that I loved. Reading previous reviews and seeing it on real women definitely helped me. I am so thrilled I rented this. 4 rentals from RTR and each one was better than the last! love this site!!

The dress is very stretchy. I am an hourglass shape and normally wear size 0. This was the smallest in this style RTR @ the Cosmopolitan in Vegas had so I went with it. Looking forward to trying the gown in my true size in petite as I am 5'4", 109 pds, 34f. Staff at RTR was very helpful.

I am 5'5 and my backup size was a 10R. I did not like the length of the regular so I went with the 8L. The 10R also had a very stubborn zipper, but besides that everything fit so well! The dress is perfect for any body type. It hugs you and the upper area fit well. I did not wear a bra like I thought I needed! It's definitely an eye catcher! I felt like a dreamgirl!

All I can say is that RTR IS AMAZING!!!! I ordered the 14L but ended up wearing the 12L. I forgot my dress home and RTR handled it FLAWLESSLY!!! The sent me a new dress overnight to my hotel. I was a little worried because only a smaller size was available. Needless to say it fit AMAZING!!! I truly was the best looking female there. Everyone kept on asking where did I get my dress. I honestly felt like a movie star =) I know a lot of people complained of the sequins rubbing but it didn't bother me at all. I was too busy looking and feeling FAN EFFIN TASTIC!!!!! I love the fact that it was lined throughout and not itchy at all. I literally felt like a million bucks!!! This dress is perfect for women of all shapes. If you are thinking about getting this dress... JUST DO IT!!! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed

Perfect fit dress, exactly what I wanted for my second party dress at my wedding. Everyone loved it, I had girls asking how they could get it! It looked stunning. My mom loved it, huge plus. It gave me a fun party trendy feel, while being financially responsible in being able to rent it. I wanted a long dress to still feel bridal, the mini train was perfect. Love it!!!!

I ordered the 14R and 12R as a backup. I ended up wearing the 12R, it was the perfect fit. I loved it. I also didn't have to wear a bra. I looked gorgeous and I received many compliments. I will definitely order in the future.

I ordered an 8R and 10R. I usually fit in a 10 but this dress fits very tight to the body. The 10 made me look wide and heavy. I had the 12R shipped to me over night just in time for my event. The Rent the Runway staff was so kind in helping me out and guaranteeing the dress would arrive when needed. The 12R fit perfectly and I used double-sided tape to ensure it wouldn't slip down. I had no problems with the sequins irritating my arms. The length was perfect too. This dress made me feel like a queen. For being a first time customer, I am very satisfied. I also rented bracelets to go with and they matched perfectly.

This was my first time using RTR and they now have a repeat customer! I called RTR and gave them my measurements and the size they recommended was the correct size! The dress arrived on time and it was a perfect fit. I did have a hard time with the zipper and the built in bra wasn't enough support for me so I had to wear a strapless bra as well. The only negative comment that I have is the sequin hurt a little under my arms but other than that, if you rent this dress, you have a WINNER!!

Please excuse the hair, I danced allll night. I was to thrilled to wear this awesome dress! I did think that I could have gotten a 10R but the long length gave this dress a little more class. I have not felt so beautiful since my wedding day and pre-baby! BUT this dress made my night and year. I loved the experience and will be renting again!

It was pretty much true to fit except that it was really tight in the bust area. I usually wear a 10 but had to wear a 12 for this reason. Even though I had to wear a bigger size it still fit to my body really well. The sequins did not bother under my arms like I thought they would. This dress is GORGEOUS! I seriously felt like I belonged on the red carpet. My friends at Prom all complimented me and I had an amazing night. Oh, if you were blessed in the chest area, use the free fashion tape samples that they send you to keep anything from popping out in the chest area. I also rented a bangle bracelet set to go with it that completed the outfit.

Great dress- it looks very tacky by itself but incredible on- the dress completely changes once it's being worn. I am 5'5"/ 5'6" and the regular length skimmed the floor without heels so I wore the long one. Also true to size.

This dress was very stretchy and flattering. The rouching was perfect for an imperfect tummy! The material was so comfortable and I danced all night! The boning inside can get uncomfortable, but we can make small sacrifices for a dress so gorgeous : ) the petite fit was perfect for my curvy 5'0 frame. I still had a small dragging train behind. The sequins can be irritating, but I hardly noticed while dancing all night! I love the fit and sparkle of this dress! I can't describe the comfort...just perfect! It's definitely worth the rent if you're looking for a gorgeous sparkly look!!

It fits tight, normally I wear a size 0R but I had to wear the 2R instead. I wore about 5 inch heels and still had to pick it up a little but I'm 5'0 so. This was the perfect prom dress. I got so many compliments. Two of the best compliments I received were from the photographers there. They both said that my dress was the most stunning dress they'd seen all night. And one of them is putting a picture of my lovely date and I In the school yearbook. I LOVED this dress it made me feel like a million bucks In this Las Vegas themed prom!!

It was a great looking dress on line, and in person. It's hard to get a dress on line u never tried on in person. But this dress was a nice stretchy material that just complimented my body. What a great idea thank you RTR -JO

The fit is true to size; the 0P length was perfect for me. I had no issues with the sequins irritating the underarms as I have in some other dresses. The only complaint I have is that the boning poked me a few times throughout the night. That may be attributed to the dress being worn multiple times however.

if your bust and waist are proportionate i would say that this dress is indeed true to size. i am narrow in the hips, so sometimes my bust is 1-2 sizes bigger than my pants size. this dress fit perfectly on my 36D bust, maybe borderline snug, and was a little bit too big in the waist. luckily, the rouching used up most of the excess fabric, and i didn't look bulky. i'm probably more of a 6 in the body of the dress and if i had actually purchased this dress i would have had it tailored in the waist a good amount. if you're busty go up a size, average or small bust stay your same size. i got compliments on this dress from the moment i hit the red carpet to the moment i was eating breakfast at the diner at 3am. the words "movie star" "stunning" and "gorgeous" were used many times. this dress is great for that timeless and flawless old Hollywood glamor style. if you have a beautiful face especially, you will shine in just the right way because your face is all anyone will be looking at. this is a princess moment for me for sure, and i was named Best Red Carpet Look the next day. can't get any better than that!

Because of my larger bust, the 4P fit perfectly! This dress was true to size and hugged my curves. The sequins are noticeable but not overbearing. Definitely a dress I would rent again! I received so many compliments. I felt wonderful!
