Sequin Side Drape Cocktail Dress

Wore it to an award ceremony and got a ton of compliments. It's not a floor length gown but versatile to dress up or down from black tie to cocktail. For sequins, it's a very flattering dress. The only thing is the chest and shoulders run a little tight. I would have sized up if renting again.

Fitted but plenty of forgiving stretch.

This dress was an absolute slam dunk. The structure and style made it comfortable, sturdy, and so fun to wear! There is no stretch at all with the all-over sequin, so I wore the size up. It fit like a glove and helped keep everything in place. The pleats and the gather with the little side train/flair were gorgeous and everyone commented on how gorgeous the dress was. You will feel like a million bucks wearing it!

High quality dress. The material seems very nice. The fit was great for me. I didn't end up wearing it as I ordered different options for a wedding. The dress itself it's supposed to be short in length, so I felt it was not so flattering to me as I'm a bit on the curvy size now I wanted it to look slimmer. It's a pretty nice dress though, I would recommend it.

I rented 5 dresses for a black tie optional wedding. I loved this one. It fit perfectly, it made my top 3 but I went with a strapless one for this wedding. I would definitely rent for another event.

Fun to wear

Gorgeous dress for a cold April wedding. I’m 5 4, the length was just right. I’m 169lbs & tried on both the 12 and the 14, either would have worked but I went with the 12 as the 14 was too large in the chest. The sequins weren’t itchy or bothersome to me, though I did have a few scratches from them at the end of the night. Really loved this dress and would rent again.

I didn’t expect to like the sequins but it’s really a comfy fun dress! Fits perfectly - just hard to get the zipper all the way up since I can’t reach! Need a friend. Will wear to a wedding in Vail. These are just pics of trying on.

Have never used Rent the Runway before and it was fantastic! Quick delivery and was perfect! I loved the way the dress fit and how I felt in it. Got so many compliments on the dress!! Great fit!

This dress was perfect for a “Tuxes and Tennies” gala. The length allowed for my flat shoes and I got so many compliments. I’m always between size 4-6 and the 6 was perfect on this one. I thought it was black but it’s actually a dark navy, still lovely either way.

Got compliments from random people all night. Fit like a glove and perfect length with 3” heel. I put a brooch at the hip where the sequins come together for extra decoration. A perfect dress. Deep navy color. LOVE this dress.

Wore this to a formal wedding reception dinner. It was fine for a few hours but I would not have wanted to dance in it. The arms felt tight and scratched a little. Loved the style and bunch at the waist.

Arrived NWT. Had to exchange for next size up. Dress has gathered detail over left hip that adds a little of bulk across mid section, and pulls left chest area down. Hard to describe, just not for my shape. Also it's navy, not black.

Itchy on the arms like all sequin outfits, nice weight, love the pleats, party perfect but runs small at the top.

I would have won this dress if I didn't have a more flattering dress instead. It's fitted on the top and flowy on the bottom

This dress was one of a few options to wear for a wedding. The fit was great with the exception of the straps which were very tight. Possibly could’ve sized up just for more room in the top.

I wish the pleats had more definition. The fit is perfect. The dress is fully lined, and this prevents any unsightly cellulite from showing. The sequins are sparkly but not too much. The ruching on the side is a perfect waist snatcher for those with a need for shape.

I wore this for a Gala. If you read measurements this dress fits exactly how the measurements are. I loved this dress!

This dress fit very nicely and the sequins were not scratchy at all. However, it is a heavy dress that trapped in alot of heat while dancing. Not ideal for the dance floor. It felt like alot of dress, but I did receive alot of compliments on it!

I was not a fan of this dress- it was unflattering to my shape created a focus on my belly even though I not that large. I am a size 2 with a large bust and this just made me look super frumpy and old. I also found the sequence uncomfortable and painful. This one was a no for me. The zipper was also very difficult to use.

Something about this was a bit too childish for me. It felt like I was going to a high school event.

I'm 30 years old, 5'11 and 165 lbs. Although the dress fit me well, I couldn't help but feel like I was wearing a dress intended for someone much older than me. I ended up borrowing a dress from a friend rather than wear this one and feel frumpy all night.

this was longer than floor length on me. I needed 3 inch heels

Comfortable, classy and flattering

Did not get to wear this . I got both sizes 10 and 12 but although 12! Fit well other wise it was hard to get the zip up on w v small section of my back.

LOVED this dress more in person than I did in the picture, but unfortunately did not fit. However, it’s a gorgeous dress

5'7" 175 lbs, several inches away from being able to zip the back. Heavy dress, mid calf, good condition. Ideal for someone who wears like a women's 8 US and is petite.

Note big armholes - if "overhang" is an issue for you, might not be the dress you want. I got lots of compliments, felt good. With all the beads, the dress is heavy, but not uncomfortable.

The dress for everywhere but the chest. I’m a 40D and it was too tight. Overall a great dress.

Dress is beautiful and great for a formal wedding or other event. The top fit a little tight but otherwise it was good.
